Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a room which is no more than 10 ft. long, 10. ft tall, and 10 ft. wide. This room must also have no windows or any way to see into the room from the outside whatsoever.

Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a mask of unknown origin assumed to be created in the year 18██ and was discovered in the year 20██. When a subject looks directly at SCP-XXXX for more than 30 seconds and is less than 10 ft. away, the object appears to inflict a trance drawing the subject closer and closer until they wear the mask. Any subject who wears the mask for 10 minutes or less turns out completely fine, subjects who wear the mask for 15 minutes, experience a vivid 15-minute long hallucination of their family members and loved ones all being murdered in front of them, subjects who wear the mask for 30 minutes experience insanity, anyone who wears the mask longer than 45 minutes dies from methods of [DATA EXPUNGED]. The material of the mask (as well as the shape of the mask and face appearing on the mask) changes to fit the desire of the subject looking at it for 30 or more seconds, when only observed by a camera the mask appears to be made of wood with small cuts for the eyes and mouth.

Addendum: Testing Log: The following is a log of all tests performed upon SCP-XXXX.

Subject: D-4325
Mask Appearance: A white hockey mask.
Notes: Subject D-4325 wore the mask for 36 minutes before forcefully removing it,
any attempts to ask the subject what they had seen failed, all we got out of
subject D-4325 were screams of agony and pain [Subject Terminated].

Mask Appearance: A metal knight helmet
Notes: Subject D-████ wore the mask for a total of 17 minutes before removing it.
Subject D-████ described a vivid hallucination of their mother, their father, and
their two sisters and Dr. ███████ being brutally dismembered in front of them
[Subject Sent Back To Cell].
