SCP-XXXX Attention Seeking Necklace

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class #: Safe

**Special Containment Procedures: ** SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside a standard sized sealed safe class item locker.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a silver necklace, with a standard size chain. The body of the necklace is made up of a blank metal disc, with no visible inscriptions. While not being worn, SCP-XXXX shows no anomalous properties, however when worn, the subject will experience the overwhelming desire to be the centre of attention. The longer the duration of time the subject is subjected to SCP-XXXX's affects, the more violent the means of gaining the attention they desire will become, until the subject commits suicide.

From 1 (one) to 12 (twelve) days from initial exposure the subject will use generic methods to gain the attention from others. These include lying about themselves, barging into other peoples conversations or creating rumours about themselves. These methods will remain mainly verbal, and will only damage the social status of the subject.

Between 13 (thirty) to 30 (thirty) days, the subject will start to use more hostile methods to gain the attention of the people around them, although these methods will remain mainly verbal. These methods include lying about others, verbally assaulting those around them as well as randomly screaming or shouting in quiet areas.

From 31 (thirty-one) days to 40 (forty) days, the subject will begin to start methods using low levels of aggression to gain the attention from those around them. The more physically violent methods will start off with minor acts, including dropping plates and glasses, medium strength hits to other arms and shoulders, or in the most violent act seen in this time period, kicking the backs of peoples knees and tripping them over. This phase has been seen to lead to physical confrontations, but in most cases the subject will be disregarded as a general annoyance

From 41 (forty-one) days to 49 (forty-nine) days, the subject will show medium levels of physical violence. These actions include starting arguments in hopes of beginning fights with those around them, throwing objects around the room and pushing the contents of tables onto the floor.

From 50 (fifty) days to 55 (fifty-five) days, the subject will use high levels of aggression to gain the attention of those around them. These methods include starting fights for little to no reason, breaking items in public or public infrastructure itself, like shop or bus windows or even public displays like statues or fountains.

On the final day the effect of the necklace will stop, and the subject will return back to their original mental state, however they will be unable to reforge their broken relationships from when they were under the necklaces influence, leaving them socially isolated.
