A picture of SCP-XXXX taken by Researcher: ███████ ██ ████
Item #: XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a modified containment locker. SCP-XXXX should only be allowed to be played in a suitable testing environment. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a soundproofed room. SCP-XXXX should only be considered to be removed from its soundproofed room for testing purposes.
Description: SCP-XXXX is described as a tabletop phonograph its age is estimated to be ██ years. It is seen as having a black horn, brown wooden cabinet and base, and a brown crank with a black handle. SCP-XXXX is only known to play 1 song, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture Finale. The record is to be stored inside SCP-XXXX at all times besides when being tested in which it must be put onto the turntable.

Subject: 20 D-class personnel
Researcher: Dr. Jane
Procedure: The 20 D-class personnel walked into the soundproofed test chamber. The 20 D-class personnel took a seat with the provided chairs in front of SCP-XXXX. D-3756 is instructed to place the record onto SCP-XXXX's turntable and then instructed to turn the crank █ times. D-3756 sits back down in his designated seat. The song plays, no anomalous activity is reported for the first 41 seconds. Between the 42nd and 47th second featured 5 shots of an artillery cannon. The moment the 20 D-class personnel heard the cannon shots, indiscriminately 5 of the 20 D-class personnel seem to have been pierced by artillery cannon shells. The 5 died instantly with massive chunks of their body being completely removed and torn apart. No anomalous activity is reported from the 48th second till 1:38. SCP-XXXX can be heard from outside the testing chamber at a deafening volume, the remaining 15 test subjects are covering their ears and are told to remain in their seats until the test is over. The deafening volume of the music is carried out for the rest of the song. No extra anomalous activity is reported until the 3:15 to 3:35 where 11 more shots are heard to the same effect of the first 5. For the last 45 seconds of the song, there are no more shots heard, and the volume only quiets down after the song ends. D-3438 is told to take off the record and set it back into the cabinet of SCP-XXXX the last 4 D-class personnel are told to exit in an orderly fashioned line.

<Begin Log>
-When asked about the music SCP-XXXX played during the test the D-class personnel answered "Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture Finale".
-When asked about the other D-class personnel they looked physically disturbed D-3690 responded with "The person to the left and right of me… They had chunks of their bodies torn out some of them had their heads completely blown off… Others had arms or legs completely removed and shredded apart. What was inside their chests was then covered on the walls, the floor, the SCP itself, and myself in a moments notice…" D-3438 added "You can see right through the others… The insides of them were completely exposed with vital organs spilling out…" D-5479 added to D-3438's statement saying "They were there one second and the next… they where a fine red mist spread throughout the room…"
-When asked about any additional notes D-3838 responded with "Make sure that… THING! NEVER SEES THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN!" the other D-class personnel agreed to D-3838's statement. They were then cleared to go back to their respective quarters.

NOTES: Upon further analysis of the 16 deceased D-class personnel, the wounds seem to have been created from a 95mm cannon from the ████ or ████ century. The impact of the wound seems as though it was created by an elongated sphere, similar to that of an American football or rugby ball. Although there is no shell or artificial debris in the room to confirm the weapon's origin, it is considered to have the same projectile properties as a 95mm howitzer M1753. The test subjects had a heavy odor similar to that of gunpowder. How SCP-XXXX is able to simulate a direct blast from a 95mm howitzer M1753 is unknown. Dr. Jane sees potential in using SCP-XXXX to attempt in neutralizing SCP-682 and SCP-096. No additional tests have been carried out since 09/17/███4.
