Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a 14" by 7" container within Site-██, Storage Area ██ and is to be kept upright within said container. SCP-XXXX is to have no batteries placed into it unless authorised by staff members with Level 2 Security clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 12" tall collecters item produced by ████████████ for a popular virtual band. The item is a vinyl figure of the animated lead singer of the band.
The appearance of SCP-XXXX is indicernible from a non-anomalous figure when simply glanced at, but upon closer inspection it can be seen that the LED lights present on the figure are far more luminous. The reason for this cosmetic difference is unknown, although it is thought that the eye luminosity may be linked to the objects anomalous propeties.
The anomalous propeties of SCP-XXXX only manifest when either the figure is near a source of electrical energy or batteries are placed within it's head. Once either of these conditions are met, the eyes of SCP-XXXX emit unusually bright light and any human within a 1 meter radius will report to feel a sense of extreme happiness and excitement. Testing and subsequent monitoring of Class D subjects has shown them to recite lyrics from various ████████ songs, even if the subject had no prior knowledge of the songs or ████████.
Because of SCP-XXXX's effect of causing very positive emotions and high dopamine levels in humans, it is highly discouraged to expose a subject to the object more than once. If a subject is exposed to the effects of SCP-XXXX more than once, there is an 80% chance that they will develop an addiction to the objects effects and become extremely violent if denied the ability to experience said effects (See Addendum XXXX-01). Administration of Class B amnestics 24 hours or less after the addiction has developed has a 60% success rate at eliminating the addiction to SCP-XXXX. Any form of rehabilitation or therapy to end the addiction towards SCP-XXXX's effects after the 24 hour period have failed in 100% of cases and thus are to be terminated as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary injury of staff.
Addendum XXXX-01: The following is a transcript between an addicted D-Class and Dr █████.
