Item #: SCP-XXXX
A picture taken of SCP-XXXX from a submeragble camera
Object Class: Thaumiel
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3m x 3m x 3m chamber of 3-inch thick glass at site-14. The chamber is to be placed in a 6m x 6m x 6m room at site-13. The chamber is to be filled with salt water. If the chamber is drained or less than 25% alert the on-site security and prepare the chamber for refilling. If SCP-XXXX is found outside of its containment chamber avoid all physical contact with SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large, bright yellow moray eel, and is █.██m in length. Although not considered ████████, the creature has telepathically implanted ████████ into researchers minds. These have all been warnings. SCP-XXXX successfully predicted many world problems, it can be inferred it has humanities [REDACTED] in mind, but it is currently unconfirmed. It is unknown where SCP-XXXX came from. SCP-XXXX is from the area/in the [REDACTED] Trench.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX Discovery Mission
SCP-XXXX was first discovered by MTF Gamma 9 'Until Dawn' while looking for [Access Denied] along the Great Barrier Reef, Australia when the shadow of an unidentified body was found. Corporal ███ was deployed from the boat to investigate.
Corporal ███: This is Corporal ███, I think █ █████ █████████. It's not [Access Denied] but its ███████ ███████ and- wait it just brushed past me… It's like its talking to- wait.. the fuck it's talking?!
Sarge: This is Sarge, we're coming back 'round. Bag and tag it, corporal. We're continuing the hunt for [Access denied], with whatever it is, for now. Over and out.Corporal ███ was successful but felt a strong urge to abort the mission. He convinced Sarge to drop him and the creature off at Site 14. Later that day, Sarge's squad turned up dead after being exposed to a thunderous tropical storm. ███ attributes it to good luck, but it is believed to be SCP-XXXXs first sign of telepathy. The 'Until Dawn' unit was reassembled but Corporal ███ refused to rejoin, even after being offered a promotion to the rank of Sargent. Days later he was found dead in his room after committing suicide with a leather rope. It is presumed that he committed suicide after having been afflicted with survivors guilt.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX hostility test-001
Test A - Date
Subject: D-5593. D-5593 was equipped with a diving suit, 5mm diving tank, snorkel and a waterproof [REDACTED] camera after Doctor Ash approved of this experiment.
Procedure: D-5593 was to enter SCP-XXXX's tank and swim in and with SCP-XXXX for 5 minutes before evacuating the tank. Doctor Ash is to relay orders to D-5593 and to communicate with SCP-XXXXResults:
D-5593 enters SCP-XXXX's chamber
Doctor Ash: D-5593, just.. swim around for a bit. If there are signs that SCP-XXXX is aggressive we can pull you out.
D-5593: Okay, okay.
Doctor Ash:** XXXX? I need to communicate with you.
4 Light taps can be heard on the glass from SCP-XXXX
Dr Ash: Okay. I have set up a list of questions for you as per usual, but, please try to ignore D-5593. He is here for testing as well.
SCP-XXXX: Only if it does not interrupt.
Doctor Ash: I am afraid that I may need to communicate with D-5593 as well. I hope you-
SCP-XXXX: I meant physically. I wish for him not to touch me.
Doctor Ash: Oh, certainly. He shouldn't be of any trouble.
Doctor Ash: D-5593, avoid the front of the tank
D-5593: Yeah.. by the way who you talking to?
Doctor Ash: SCP-XXXX, the telepathic eel. Anyways, where were we?
SCP-XXXX: Questions?
Doctor Ash: Yes, yes. First question, and I know I've asked you this before, but try to answer this time. Where are you from?
[SCP-XXXX pauses]
SCP-XXXX: Trench.
Doctor Ash: Where? North?
SCP-XXXX: Of where I was found.
Doctor Ash flips through maps of the great barrier reef, before concluding
Doctor Ash: The [REDACTED] Trench?
SCP-XXXX: I am not sure of name. Show me a map of the world with trench marked.
Doctor Ash pulls out a red marker and draws a segmented line over the [REDACTED] Trench and presses it to the glass]
SCP-XXXX: //..Yes..
Doctor Ash: Good, progress. D-5593? How are you going?
D-5593: You're saying that eel is talking with you? Mad, you are…
Dr Ash: D-5593. Trust me. It is.
D-5593 looks at Doctor Ash in confusion, before moving up to the front of the chamber
SCP-XXXX screams according to Doctor Ash. Doctor Ash, however, cannot recall what SCP-XXXX was saying to him
Doctor Ash: Holy shit!
[It is at this point where the test ends and Doctor Ash calls for MTF support. D-5593 is reported as dead after his corpse was found floating in the tank. D-5593's body was mauled on his left should and lower neck.Analysis: All further tests with SCP-XXXX are to be monitored by MTF Gamma 9 'Until Dawn'. All Class-d personal are to be warned not to try to touch or interact with SCP-XXXX unless authorized to by Doctor Ash or any O4 personal.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX Disappearance 001 notes
These are the notes of Doctor Ash before he disappeared from all Foundation records besides file 'SCP-XXXX' The Telepathic Eel'.

BY ORDER OF THE O5 COUNCIL
THIS FILE IS SUBJECT TO LEVEL 4 CLASSIFICATION
== LEVEL 4 CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED ==
Begin log
So those bastards at O5 assigned me to retrieval duty. ME. A scientist, doing MTF work! Oh, that's… that's… shut up, shut up, shut up! And listen… Theses silence… This place is never quiet. What's worse is that site-14's been experiencing plenty of these things. anomalies, even. A bit ironic, don't you think?
End Log
Begin Log
So uh, site 14.. its uh… compromised… I dunno what happened, but the alarm went off and we were told to stay in our offices or bedrooms… I think a Keter SCP got out. I don't think that those fuckers at Chaos Insurgency got in, or else we would've been told to 'run for the hills!' Everyone at site-14 agreed that 'this message should be used if Chaos Insurgency or another organization breach site-14.' Unless we haven't detected them, I doubt they're behind the breach. And, yes, I think this was sabotage. If not a failed experiment. I got my hands on uh, I think its a Glock? I don't know guns well, all I know its a pistol and I know how to use it.
End Log
Begin Log
Oh god oh god oh god. A 939 got out. I saw it when I tried to gun it for the emergency shelter. I'm stuck in the cafeteria, and there are 2 of 'em! I think there's.. what? 9 939s in total? A what's worse is… oh shit its coming! I'm gonna hide behind the vending machine. I got a pen on me, I'm gonna use it to distract that fucking monster while I hide.
End Log
Begin Log
Okay.. so um.. that things are gone now… but uh… It was sabotage. 939-3, -19 and -109 broke out. The security officer's trying to trap -3 and -109 in XXXX's old cell.. before it well… disappeared. That was the first anomaly. Eh, might've been onto something, but the guard sounds stressed. He said that 939-19 was pounding on the door. I'm gonna try to make my way to 'Security and Records' where he lowered the exit gate there from an O5 to O3. While I'm there I'll check the security office. My guess by the time I get there, -19 would've gotten in. If I'm lucky, I can lower all exits to an O1 for everyone.
End Log
Begin Log
Okay so uh… MTF swung by and contained the 939s. There were only 3 survivors: Chaos did sabotage the 939 cell… A? Was it A? I can't remember. Oh I should mention, SCP-XXXX is nearby somewhere.. uh, it only communicates telepathically within a maximum distance of 6 miles. I'm gonna notify chief supervisor Mike on the matter, here's hoping when we find XXXX it doesn't predict the end of the world.
End LogSCP-XXXX was later recovered along with Doctor Ash after chief supervisor Mike refused to send Mobile Task Force Epsilon 55 'Hide-And-Go-Seek' (HAGS) to retrieve SCP-XXXX. Mike has now been reassigned to janitorial for the potential loss of a valuable SCP and later on the damage of SCP-███
Addendum: SCP-XXXX containment plan
In the event of SCP-XXXX Disappearance 001 happening again, a containment plan has been approved by the O5 council. The following plan is directed for all security forces staffed at site-14:
Version 001: In the same event as SCP-XXXX Disappearance 001, with SCP-939(s) breaching containment, SCP-939(s) are to be your top priority as if they find SCP-XXXX, they may attempt to kill and/or consume SCP-XXXX. Once all SCP-939(s) are contained all security and MTF currently alive at site-14 are to look for signs of telepathy from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX may be within 6 miles of site-14.
Version 002: In the event, only SCP-XXXX has breached containment on-site security teams are to assist Doctor Ash with the relocation of SCP-XXXX. As stated previously in version-001 SCP-XXXX will most likely be within 6 miles of site-14.
Version 003: If SCP-XXXX is captured by Chaos Insurgency, Global Occult Foundation, or other person(s) of interest, All combat-based MTF forces are to mobilize on their headquarters. Whether SCP-XXXX is there or not will not matter, we will obtain SCP-XXXXs location and any potential SCPs/Anomalies which will be brought to the O5 council. Once retrieved SCP-XXXX is to be placed in the hands of the O5 council and to be relocated to specialized site-██, site-██ or site-██.
Version 004: In the event of an XK, CK, etc class event, SCP-XXXX is to be safely transported to the O5 at site-██, site-██ or site-██ either by air, water, land or underground to ensure its safety. If sites-██, ██ and ██ are compromised, SCP-XXXX is to be sent into orbit along with Doctor Ash and any surviving O5 in an XK-P survival rocket. The XK-P is to be stocked with 2 cows of the opposite gender, at least one fruit tree, (whatever fruit does not matter), building supplies, 10-35 liters of freshwater, 20-25 liters of salt water, one pistol and 10-15 rounds (for defensive purposes only).
Item #: SCP-XXXX
A picture taken of SCP-XXXX under an electron microscope
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an airtight 50cm x 50cm x 50cm glass cylinder of 2-inch thick glass. SCP-YYYY is to be held in site-36, Siberia. Any living, organic materials are not to be taken inside or nearby SCP-XXXX's cell. Any experiments with XXXX are to be authorized and done with Doctor Hannibal.
SCP-XXXX-2 is to be kept in a 2m x 3m x 2m concrete cell(s) (5 cells, 2 each). No unprotected personal is to enter any cell without protective gear. Any questions related to information on SCP-XXXX are not to be asked. Any of these questions are to be shown to Doctor Hannibal. Unauthorized interviewers are to reveal all information and be given class A or class G amnesics.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a contagious virus that spreads through contaminated water, contaminated air, and contact(s) with SCP-XXXX-2. Touching a nonorganic surface that SCP-XXXX-2 has had contact with will not spread the disease. Affected individuals are to be designated SCP-XXXX-2. XXXX-2's only have 20 minutes before death and reanimation via unknown means. Once reanimated, a single SCP-XXXXtakes over SCP-XXXX-2 and becomes sentient. All reanimated SCP-XXXX-2's show interest in other anomalous substances. Symptoms of SCP-XXXX vary depending on the host's immune system.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX symptoms
Listed below are all the confirmed and recorded symptoms for SCP-XXXX. These symptoms are found exclusively in SCP-XXXX-2 before reanimation:
Behavioral:
Rapid mood swings
Anxiety about 'it'. 'It' is an implanted memory or image by SCP-XXXX
Host will attempt to enter dark spaces. Entering a dark or light abstracted area will cure all anxieties SCP-XXXX-2 is/could be feeling, including the creature SCP-XXXX projects into the hosts minds
Hostile behavior towards authority figures
Cannibalism (If given the option)Physical:
Increase to Saliva production
Increase/decrease to muscle mass
Blood vessels/arteries are pressed against the skin where possible
Blood vessels/arteries become a pale cyan color
Saliva becomes partially acidic
Host becomes immune to all acidic substances
Any signs of escaped for uncontained or escaped XXXX or XXXX-2 are to be terminated. If SCP-XXXX has breached containment and security personal are compromised or cannot contain and/or terminate SCP-XXXX mobile task force Theta-03 'Undertakers' are to be summoned. If Theta-03 is unavailable site-36 is to be considered lost, as well as any SCPs and personal stationed there during the breach.

SCP-XXXX-2: Where am I?Doctor Hannibal: I have a series of questions for you. Answer truthfully and you will be released. Question 1: Where do you originate?
[SCP-XXXX-2 pauses]
SCP-XXXX-2: I am not sure. It was cold. So cold.
Doctor Hannibal: Are you aware of what you are?
SCP-XXXX-2: You mean we?
Doctor Hannibal: We?
SCP-XXXX-2: We are many in this vessel.
Doctor Hannibal: Like a hive mind?
SCP-XXXX-2 remains silent
Doctor Hannibal: SCP-XXXX-2?
SCP-YYYY-2: SCP-XXXX-2? What is that?Doctor Hannibal: Your identification. Everything here and at places like here has an identity, and you are currently a YYYY-2. How many are you? In that body?
SCP-XXXX-2: I cannot account for my nonsentient's.
Doctor Hannibal: Final Question, and, if you don't know what it is, that's fine, but.. Have you been described as the Pestilence?SCP-XXXX-2 remains silent. It is unknown if this is a sign of confusion or unwilling to speak
Doctor Hannibal: End the interview.
SCP-XXXX-2: Can I go now?
Doctor Hannibal: Yes. Officer █████, terminate the subject.
SCP-XXXX-2: Wait, no! Stop!
Officer █████ seals the chamber and flicks the switch marked 'PURGE'. SCP-XXXX-2 is engulfed in flames

Closing Statement: Testing with SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-049 are to be scheduled at a later date.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-2 interview B
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-2
Interviewer: Doctor Hannibal
Foreword: [Officer █████ (in a type 2 hazmat suit) restrains the XXXX-2 to a chair. SCP-YYYY-2 attempts to free itself for the first five minutes before becoming docile. 15 minutes pass before YYYY-2 dies and is reanimated by XXXX]

Doctor Hannibal: Hello, SCP-XXXX-2. I have a series of questions for you. Answer truthfully and you will be released.
SCP-XXXX-2 does not respnd
Dr Hannibal: Question 1: How many sentient beings are inside this vessel?
SCP-XXXX-2 remains unresponsive
Doctor Hannibal: XXXX-2? Failure to comply will result in termination-
SCP-XXXX-2: One.
Doctor Hannibal: Pardon?
SCP-XXXX-2: One.
Doctor Hannibal: One? As in.. oh yes. One sentient am I correct?SCP-XXXX-2 nods
Doctor Hannibal: Good, we have some progress. Moving on, why do you think we have you here? In an interview?
SCP-XXXX-2 pauses, then continues
SCP-XXXX-2: I do not know. Have we done something wrong?
Doctor Hannibal: No, no. Nothing of concern anyways. Final question: The last interviewee we had here refused to answer this, and if you don't know that's fine. Have you ever been called or described as the pestilence?
SCP-XXXX-2 pauses, then continuesSCP-XXXX-2: I believe we have been by some people. I cannot confirm, however.
Doctor Hannibal: Very well then. This concludes our interview. Thank you for joining us. We may require your services again. Officer █████, escort this individual to the class-d holding cells. Relocate one of them while we create a new containment area.
Officer █████: Yes sir. Follow me, and do not make contact with any other people.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: SCP-YYYY-2 containment chambers have been build and installed in site-36. Maximum XXXX-2 in each cell is 2. The total of YYYY-2 cells is 5. No unauthorized personal are to enter SCP-YYYY-2 cells without protective gear.
Addendum: SCP-049 Interview regarding SCP-XXXX
Interviewed: SCP-049
Interviewer: Dr Hannibal
Foreword: SCP-049 is informed he will be having a different interviewer from site-36 about SCP-YYYY.
<Begin Log, 1st May>
Dr Hannibal sites down across from 049. Security personal follow after him and stand beside the doorSCP-049: Are you the Doctor?
Dr Hannibal: The one concerning XXXX? Yes.
SCP-049: Then we can begin.
Doctor Hannibal: Tell me, have you been briefed on SCP-XXXX?
SCP-049: All I know is its number. The fact that you are coming here.. is it a plague?
Doctor Hannibal: Its classed as a virus. I came here because I thought you might know about it? Our records indicate you went to Russia, yes?
SCP-049: While looking for a cure, yes.
Doctor Hannibal mutters something, SCP-049 seems to take no interest
Doctor Hannibal: Ever go to Lake Baikal? Perhaps a.. 3-day hike north?
SCP-049 remains silent
Doctor Hannibal pulls out multiple laminated pictures and a laminated list of symptoms of SCP-YYYY and infected SCP-XXXX-2
Doctor Hannibal: I'm here to find out what SCP-XXXX is. I had a feeling you might know. A colleague thinks it might be the pestilence but, I don't think so. I think this is your next failed fucking "cure." So tell us, what is XXXX?
SCP-049 looks over the sheets
SCP-049: This.. It is… I do not- It certainly isn't the pestilence, but-
Doctor Hannibal: So this wasn't one of your "cures?"
SCP-049 remains silent
Doctor Hannibal: 049?
<End Log>
Closing Statement: It appears as if SCP-XXXX is not the pestilence. Records show SCP-049 claims to originate in the 15th Century, France. He may have forgotten XXXX however it is believed that XXXX is not related to 049 in any way. This being said, there is plenty of evidence for 049 knowing XXXX and not being connected to XXXX. Doctor Hannibal believes it is tied to XXXXhowever.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-2 hostility tests
Test A - Date: 3rd, Nov
Subject: D-98620 enters SCP-XXXX-2 holding cell C. D-98620 is armed with a semi-automatic pistol, but is told not to use under any circumstances.
Procedure: D-98620 is to intrude on SCP-XXXX-2's space, threats may be used if they detect hostility.
Results: D-98620 enters with his pistol. He aims for XXXX-2 and slowly approaches. Neither SCP-YYYY-2 responds to this until D-98620 enters within a meter of XXXX-2. XXXX-2 acts confused but kind. D-98620 lowers the weapon and both engage in talk. D-98620 was pulled out. D-98620 requested to see her again. Requestion was denied.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-2 do not intend to harm people. SCP-XXXX-2 can be docile under certain circumstances. Reclassing all SCP-XXXX-2's in holding as -01, -02, -03, -04, -05, -06, -07, -08, -09, -10.
Test B - Date: 5th, Nov
Subject: D-33560 enters SCP-XXXX-2 holding cell A. D-33560 is not armed.
Procedure: D-33560 is to intrude on SCP-XXXX-2's space, threats may be used if they detect hostility.
Results: Upon entry, -01 rushed D-33560 and bite and scratched D-33560 along his left arm. D-33560 is reclassed as SCP-XXXX-11. SCP-XXXX-2-02 shows stress and confusion at -01's feral nature. -01 turns its attention towards the roof-mounted camera and rips it off. Security personal in hazmat gear. At this moment SCP-XXXX-2-11 dies, before being reanimated 5 minutes later. -01 infected both personal and started a CODE GREEN and CODE SUPERBLUE class breach at site-36. MTF Beta-7 (Maz Hatters) were called in. -02 and -11 remained inside their cell and -01 was terminated, along with other infected personal. XXXX-2-11 was reclassed to XXXX-2-01 following the termination of the original -01.
Analysis: Research is currently undergoing on how SCP-XXXX-2-01 infected both personal through hazmat gear and why SCP-XXXX-2-01 became hostile. SCP-XXXX-2-01 stole the weapon of one of the security guards and shot holes within their suits, before tearing the suits apart and biting each of the guards. It is still unknown why SCP-XXXX-2-01 went feral.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-2 Incident report A: Termination
Following the CODE SUPERBLUE and CODE GREEN event at site-36 involving SCP-XXXX, O5-4 has authorized a culling of SCP-YYYY-2's. It is to be overseen by Doctor Hannibal, O5-3 and, O5-4. The following report (written by O5-3) recounts the events that transpired:
<Begin log>
Doctor Hannibal entered the chamber where each XXXX-2 specimen was restrained. A pair of armed guards followed and stood by him while he examined them. As he walked past -01, he stops at -02 and said [REDACTED]. -02 then said [DATA EXPUNGED] and Hannibal walked along. He stopped at -06 and asked the same thing. -06 said the same thing and as he did so Hannibal said: "Terminate." The guards he brought opened fire on -06. I'm not sure why he thought -06 should be killed. Doctor Hannibal moved along and repeated this with -09 and -10. Both terminated. He repeated this until only -03, -04, -05, and -08 were left. Then he said "These are pure. We shall spare them." Then he and his guards walked off, and the remaining SCP-XXXX-2's were shipped back to SCP-XXXX-2 cells A and B. The rest were 'cleansed' and the site manager is planning on using it to house new SCP's. I want to know why Doctor Hannibal did what he did. If he said something simple, or mildly complex I wouldn't be suspicious, but how he did it… I think somethings wrong with the Doctor.
<End Log>

O5-4: The plague doctor?
Doctor Hannibal nodsO5-4: What does that have anything to do with this?
Doctor Hannibal: Everything, sir. He told me during our interview.. from May the 1st.
O5-4 flips through pages of notes on Doctor Hannibal
O5-4: It says here he gave no solid answer.
Doctor Hannibal: It also says that I thought otherwise, yes?
O5-4: … How?
Doctor Hannibal: I'll be honest, I'm not sure. I think [DATA EXPUNGED]. I request a few final tests, but I need some other items. I need, obviously, D class and SCP-YYYY and YYYY-2, SCP-500 and myself.
O5-4 pauses

Procedure: D-66874 is to record himself on a VHS tape and play it in SCP-XXXX. He is to describe what he hears via recorder.
Results: D-33927 records himself, although with hesitation and confusion, places the tape in SCP-XXXX and plays it. D-33927 (Reclassed as SCP-XXXX-2) shows distress in the tape, saying "What the fuck is wrong with that tape?" SCP-XXXX-2 started bleeding from his eyes, noes, and ears. SCP-YYYY-2 freaks out and slams on the door. Before anyone can arrive, he dies. Security personal with soundproof headphones enter the chamber. The security personal stop SCP-XXXXfrom playing.
Analysis: Any audio played in SCP-XXXX has the same anomalous properties as SCP-XXXX-B.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
A picture of the start of an SCP-XXXX event recovered from a citizen's camera left in the snow
An instance of SCP-XXXX-2
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Satellites above the Canadian/Alaska border are to monitor for blizzards northwest of area-15. Sensors around the perimeter of area-15 (specifically northwest) prevent extreme weather from forming. In an SCP-XXXX event, all space within the blizzard is lost (area-15 is an exception, as it is outfitted to fight the phenomenon). Survivors should be given class A amnestics. If they refuse to comply/are found post SCP-XXXX event via MTF Gamma-5 (Red Herrings), the ethics committee has decided that these people are eligible guaranteed for "jail time" (with parole), where they can administer class C amnestics. These sentences should be around 16 months for illegal use of recreational drugs.
SCP-XXXX-2's are hostile and will either kill human subjects on the spot or drag human subjects to a secluded spot, where it will consume them through unknown means. They have been seen hunting inside civilian housing and other claustrophobic spaces with ease.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a natural phenomenon found exclusively along the border between Alaska and Canada. SCP-XXXX is a severe blizzard, occasionally with lightning, found most commonly around power plants, but can occur if no such building is present. During the SCP-XXXX phenomenon, radio broadcasts and TV channels are to be overridden with Foundation recorded broadcasts (see addendum foundation broadcasts).
SCP-XXXX has been known to create creatures designated as SCP-XXXX-2. These entities manifest at the edge of the event. SCP-XXXX-2's are humanoid entities standing at 2.5m tall, with extended arms and legs, and can move both like a biped and quadruped. They lack a face or facial features and reproductive organs. They do, however, possess a skeletal structure similar to human subjects, although the skull is solid bone. They do not appear to have blood or veins, but all parts of their body (excluding the bone) is transparent. SCP-XXXX-2's is devoid of all organs excluding the esophagus, stomach, liver, and lungs. These organs have been arranged differently compared to average human subjects, and (excluding the stomach and esophagus) are not required to function. SCP-XXXX-2's does not appear sentient.
During an SCP-XXXX event, SCP-XXXX-2's will enter 3 stages:
- Hunt
- Eat
- Rest
Stage 1 : Hunt
During the hunt stage, SCP-XXXX-2 will manifest at the start of the SCP-XXXX event at the outskirts, before exploring the interior of the SCP-XXXX event. In this stage, they will kill any animals they encounter or abduct them to a secluded spot where they will enter the second phase.
Stage 2 : Eat
During the eat stage, SCP-XXXX-2 must have abducted a live specimen and transported them to an isolated spot (cost commonly inside buildings or basements). SCP-XXXX-2 will consume the subject in isolation, however, it is unknown how. Depending on the subject and the length of time that has passed between the present and the SCP-XXXX start, SCP-XXXX-2's will commonly enter the first phase three times before entering the final phase.
Stage 3 : Rest
During the rest stage, SCP-XXXX-2 must have reached its stomach's capacity. This commonly happens at the end of the SCP-XXXX event. SCP-XXXX-2 will attempt to get to as high of an altitude as possible (via climbing houses, towers, trees, etc). SCP-XXXX-2 will remain at this spot until the SCP-XXXX event passes, where SCP-XXXX-2 will evaporate. SCP-XXXX-2's can be interrupted in this stage where it must repeat the cycle. This is the only way to begin tests involving SCP-XXXX-2/bring SCP-XXXX-2's outside of the storm.

Event 001
Begin log
During a blizzard, (now known as the first SCP-XXXX event) area-15 noticed multiple phone calls from the small town of ██████, Canada. After listening in upon these calls, a convey of security personal entered the town. MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") described it as:The place was in shambles. Nothing was left. Houses had these massive holes in them, powerlines were knocked over, some out of the ground entirely, and the cars. They were all smashed, all but a few on the outskirts. In hindsight, those people who owned em probably died first.
Corporal Phillip Lee, MTF Epsilon-6
Further research after the event showed the powerlines were down, but also the power complex had shut down, explaining how many calls stopped mid-sentence. Jackson ██████ claimed he was attacked by a shadow (Later identified as SCP-XXXX-2). "A person, that wasn't a person," Jackson said from the emergency room. His family was told that [REDACTED] had [REDACTED]. Multiple other guards had reported people appearing on the other side of the chainlink fence. Multiple security personal were engaged and killed by SCP-XXXX-2's. Multiple SCP-XXXX-2's were killed, however, no corpses were recovered. A black substance (believed to have been blood) was seen during the event, but similarly to the SCP-XXXX-2's and their corpses had all vanished. Multiple personal were killed, half a dozen were lost, and the majority of site-199's armed guards were injured. The event was reported and classed as SCP-XXXX, and the entities were SCP-XXXX.

Event 002

An SCP-XXXX was leaked to the people of Alaska, as weather reporter James Shawn leaked footage taken of an SCP-XXXX event, claiming "This storm was extremely powerful, and electrical signals faded. Police from ████ are currently en route to check out the small towns of Perkinsville, and ██████." Both Perkinsville and ██████ have been erased from most records, however, Perkinsville still has some records on Wikipedia. It is unknown who keeps placing the (empty) page on Wikipedia. James Shawn has been erased from records and given class-A amnestics. Foundation officers intercepted the officers and gave them class A and C amnestics, to forget they're objective and forget James. Once the event passed, foundation personal investigated Perkinsville. The town was abandoned, however, a phone recovered from the [REDACTED] hotel showed multiple photos of the SCP-XXXX event. See addendum SCP-XXXX recovered materials.

Event 003
Begin log
Using the information from weather reporter James Shawn, an SCP-XXXX event was successfully predicted. Prior to the event, emergency broadcasts were recorded and played as the event started. See Addendum foundation broadcasts. Foundation personal were sent to block off roads and motorways. Once the event was over, the foundation personal searched the town. A total of 16 survivors were found and given class-A amnestics, as well as treatment of any injuries they had. Each survivor was told they were recovered from one of the strongest blizzards. Prior to the amnestics/cover-up story, the survivors were forcefully placed into a freezer to make the cover-up story more believable.
End Log
Event 004
Begin log
Using the information from weather reporter James Shawn and the previous SCP-XXXX event, SCP-XXXX was successfully predicted, this time not by the size of the blizzard, but the electromagnetic interference. The same protocols from the previous event were placed, and the city of ███████ was in the radius. Only 2 survivors were recovered. The town of ███████ was demolished and wiped from all records. The survivors were given Class-A amnestics. However, it appears the amnestics were faulty, as both claimed to have the same "dreams" every night, of the same incident. After informing a therapist, both were given class W-Z amnestics to reverse to effects of the class A amnestics. Both joined the foundation as researchers at site-03.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX filled with chocolate milk
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Before entering SCP-XXXX's cell, they must list all known allergies (for safety reasons). Any requests without level 3 clearance to drink from SCP-XXXX should be denied. Level 3 and above may have small sips from SCP-XXXX. In the event important personal are addicted (to whatever substance they drank) SCP-500 is to be administered. In the event SCP-500 is no longer usable, then terminate any/all those addicted to any substance suspected of originating from SCP-XXXX. If SCP-XXXX is to be transported, site-17 has a secondary holding cell (for safe class SCPs, not just XXXX).
Description: SCP-XXXX is a glass cup. When any liquid is drunk from SCP-XXXX, there is a 60% chance for the consumer to become addicted to the substance. Drinking in small amounts (less than 40mm) reduces the risk by 86%. SCP-500 can cure SCP-XXXX's addictive properties.
Addendum: SCP-WWWW addiction test
Test A - Date: 9th, Oct
Subject: D-99862 enters SCP-XXXX 's cell.
Procedure: D-99862 is to drink from SCP-XXXX. D-99862 has requested SCP-XXXX to be filled with apple juice. Request granted. After drinking half of SCP-XXXX, D-99862 is to be separated from SCP-XXXX and any apple juice.
Results: D-99862 drinks the apple juice in SCP-WWWW. After reaching the halfway point, security personal restrain D-99862. D-99862 is sent to his cell. He attempts to break down the door to his cell but fails. D-99862 is terminated, as further use with D-99862 is considered too risky.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX is highly addictive. Further testing is required.
Test B - Date: 15th, Oct
Subject: D-94555 enters SCP-XXXX's cell. D-99862 is given a single SCP-500 pill.
Procedure: D-94555 is to drink from SCP-XXXX. D-94555 has requested SCP-XXXX to be filled with chocolate milk. Request granted. After drinking all of SCP-WWWW, D-94555 is to consume SCP-500.
Results: D-94555 drinks the chocolate milk in SCP-XXXX. After finishing the drink, he takes the SCP-500 pill with a glass of water (not in SCP-XXXX). D-94555 is sent to his cell. He shows no signs of addiction.
Analysis: SCP-500 can cure SCP-XXXX's addictive properties. Further testing not required.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX Discovery report
SCP-XXXX was discovered in the █████ mall in London after researcher Amy [REDACTED] (who was on break) went to the █████ mall. Amy went to the [REDACTED] cafe and ordered one (1) large chips and one (1) large chocolate milkshake. After getting notifying foundation personal about her sudden addiction to chocolate milkshakes, she was placed in her own cell. █████ mall and the [REDACTED] cafe were lockdown. After testing for anomalous properties, SCP-XXXX was identified and transported. Further testing showed no-one at the [REDACTED] cafe knew what was going on (with SCP-XXXX) so after being given class-A amnestics (all shopkeepers/customers) and a replacement cup, the [REDACTED] cafe was allowed to remain open (under constant monitoring) and the █████ mall was reopened to the public. All shopkeepers/customers were informed of a "gas leak" explaining why the mall was temporarily closed, and SCP-XXXX was transported to site-17.

Item #: SCP-XXXX-EX
Object Class: Explained
Special Containment Procedures: None (see description).
Description: SCP-XXXX-EX is a fourth primary colour. Special containment procedures are not required, as SCP-XXXX-EX cannot be viewed by the naked eye (hence the lack of security procedures). In order to view SCP-XXXX-EX, subjects are required to get eye surgery to allow for the brain to perceive more than the three primary colours.
SCP-XXXX-EX-2 (also known as David Isles) is a non-anonymous individual currently working at the foundation. Due to a mutation in his retina, he can see SCP-XXXX-EX naturally. This disorder has been named 'Isles disorder'. Hypothetically, there are individuals with this disorder, however, it is currently unknown how many individuals experience this on a daily basis. No other individuals have been shown to possess this disorder in the foundation.
After comparing SCP-XXXX-EX with on our light spectrum, SCP-XXXX-EX (when viewed with SCP-XXXX-EX-2) most closely resembles the rgb/hex values of:
rgb(103, 110, 154) | Hex(#676E9A)
When viewing SCP-XXXX-EX with the naked eye, SCP-XXXX-EX has the rgb/hex values of:
rgb(240, 247, 255) | Hex(#F0F7FF)
SCP-XXXX-EX (according to David Isles)
SCP-XXXX-EX when viewed with the naked eye
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-EX(-2) creation/discovery
SCP-XXXX-EX-2 while travelling on a field operation to the Provo River (Utah, USA), SCP-XXXX-EX-2 remarked that he didn't understand why the walls looked so green in site-19. Doctor Burke asked him what he meant, that the walls in site-19 were not green but white and grey. Both individuals expressed confusion. Doctor Burke would later report this to the site manager, and SCP-XXXX-EX-2 was brought in for observation/study/questioning. SCP-XXXX-EX-2 would comment: "I just see the walls green, and sometimes the sky too. I didn't realise that I had a disorder. Just thought that was how it was."

Special Containment Procedures: Unidentified files are to be cross-referenced with any/all SCPs with matching/missing data that brings clarity to both the identified and unidentified file(s). After an SCP is found for the file(s), the 'Remaining files' is to be updated regularly, based on how many reports are left. If a file loosely fits and identified SCP, the data is not to be integrated into the SCP. Instead, the data is to be kept here, as an addendum under the SCP-XXXX file.
Remaining files: 4
Loosely identified files: 1
Description: SCP-XXXX has been turned into a storage center for an unidentified group of files. They consist of tests and events from files mishandled by staff, accidentally reclassifying files from one SCP to another.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
In the event that SCP-XXXX becomes active, all personal at site-██ are to be evacuated in the 5 minute safe period. Any personal who cannot evacuate site-██ in time are to be considered lost. As long as personal are outside the red tape that runs along the perimeter of the building, they have been evacuated. All personal are to wait outside the red tape. Security personal are to prevent any personal from entering the perimeter of the site before SCP-XXXX becomes inactive.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a cognitohazard. SCP-XXXX periodically becomes active. SCP-XXXX has an active range of 100m from SCP-XXXX itself. Activity usually lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. In the first 5 minutes of activity, the anonymous effects of SCP-XXXX are not active. It is after this period, where those within the activity range are affected. Any persons in the range of SCP-XXXX are reclassified as SCP-XXXX-2.
Any hair or fur SCP-XXXX-2's have will fall out, in clumpy patches, regardless of where it is. After this, the skin of SCP-XXXX-2 will smooth over the head. The arms flatten into the sides of SCP-XXXX-2, and petal-like growths appear on the head and torso. The only unaffected part of this stage is the legs. SCP-XXXX-2's are aggressive, however, testing has shown that SCP-XXXX-2's are still conscious, but not in control.
Item #: SCP-XXXX-J

Special Containment Procedures: Shutter glasses of any kind are to be kept out of Brazil and the area around area 12. If shutter glasses are found in either location, and the subject does not respond with "it's a rainy day in Brazil", they are to be detained for carrying an illegal item. Person(s) that answer correctly are in fact undercover SCP agents/personal. Unless you have orders to meet up with/engage with these personal, it is advised to stay out of their way and continue your previous orders.
If person wish to go on vacation to Brazil, this document is to be sent to them, to clarify the codeword.
NOTICE FROM THE O5 COUNCIL
Before everyone asked to go on vacation anywhere, you have to get it cleared with and scheduled with your site manager, ahead of time. The O5 council has agreed that a month beforehand will be enough. Do not leave for a vacation without telling anyone, or you will eventually be presumed dead. Imagine the foundations shock when you turn up safe and sound.
— O5-1
Description: SCP-XXXX-J is a wooden ladder that stretches over the Earth to reach its destination. For unknown reasons, it is Brazil. The end outside of Brazil is being kept at area-12. SCP-XXXX-J cannot be viewed by the naked eye and requires any brand of shutter glasses to be seen. SCP-XXXX-J cannot interact with people who are not wearing these glasses.

Special Containment Procedures: MTF Mu-4 ("Debuggers") are to monitor all television broadcasts for rapidly changing signals. MTF Eta-10 ("See no evil") and MTF Eta-11 ("Savage beasts") must work together to contain and prevent an SCP-XXXX event from occurring/completing. During the detection and containment of SCP-XXXX events, all personal are required to constantly record themselves in the event any of the MTF teams fail. If SCP-XXXX-2 specimens are seen manifested outside of any television screen, do not engage.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a cognitohazard-based phenomenon that occurs at seemingly random intervals and exclusively affects television screens, with an increased chance of appearing on vintage television screens. SCP-XXXX emits a rapidly changing frequency that allows the foundation to trace and (occasionally) prevent an SCP-XXXX event. SCP-XXXX requires a minimum of one (1) person(s) to be watching TV. SCP-XXXX will disconnect/interrupt all channels being broadcast to the affected television. All of the channels affected will be filled with random broadcasts from 1930 to 1939. The audio for these broadcasts to not sync up with the visuals. These events can last for months.
The victim(s) (hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-1) will be drawn to look at the TV. At this point, it is impossible for SCP-XXXX-1 to turn off the screen. SCP-XXXX-1 will then attempt to purchase and power as many TVs as possible, with a preference for vintage TVs made prior to 1939. All of these TV's will be affected by SCP-XXXX. Viewing SCP-XXXX for too long will cause SCP-XXXX-1 to develop multiple mental health problems, such as schizophrenia and psychosis. SCP-XXXX will eventually morph the inside of the house/apartment with the affected TV by creating or moving rooms outside of the exterior boundaries of the affected area. Some rooms can be stretched/extended 10m (at most) in any direction.
SCP-XXXX will eventually manifest humanoid figures in the television static after a period of 2-3 months once the event has started. See addendum SCP-XXXX incident reports. Starting at the same time, objects and people in the affected area will occasionally be "covered in static" for 2-3 seconds. At the end of the SCP-XXXX event, SCP-XXXX-2 will drag SCP-XXXX-1 through the screen. SCP-XXXX-1 will vanish, alongside all memory of them and any objects with referencing to SCP-XXXX-2 (pictures, documents, videos, etc) will have SCP-XXXX-1 removed entirely. In videos where SCP-XXXX-2 communicates with other person(s), non affected individuals will still speak to SCP-XXXX-1, only they do not get a response. These individuals do not recall these events nor speaking to anyone during the recording.

INCIDENT REPORT
INCIDENT #: XXXX-###
DATE OF OCCURRENCE: 1996/04/02
Foreword:
The SCP-XXXX event happened at the Regal Tower II, on the 5th floor, room 6, Saskatoon (Canada). 2 subjects were identified (SCP-XXXX-1A/SCP-XXXX-1B). Both were unresponsive for the duration of the incident. There was no SCP-XXXX-2 specimens.MTF-10 proceeded to the affected apartment room (after acquiring the keys to the room via the manager). Upon entering the first room, audio-based communication with the team was lost, however, the body cameras used by the task force still transmitted a live feed to foundation control. MTF Eta-10 reported 10 vintage television sets in the first room alone. The team split up (into subdivision A and subdivision B) to search the bathroom and living room, before rejoining for the bedroom and kitchen. When MTF Eta-10 (subdivision A) entered the bathroom, the room was extended by 6.2m to the right. The walls were covered by vintage TVs (all of these displayed static). SCP-XXXX-1A was naked in the bathtub, however, there was no water present inside the bathtub. SCP-XXXX-1A did not attempt communication and stared at the TV set in front of it. While MTF Eta-10 (subdivision B) were supposed to enter the living room, they actually entered a hallway with 3 other doors. No such room existed prior to the event.
The first door lead to the living room. The room was covered in more (6) vintage television sets. The windows were painted over in black paint, and the dining table was covered in rotten/rotting foods (specifically cakes, pork, potatoes, carrots and bread). The second door lead to the bedroom. At the centre, there was a king-sized bed covered in stains believed to be wine. The windows were painted over in black paint. There was only a single television in this room, directly opposite the bed. SCP-XXXX-1B was staring blankly at the TV, which displayed static. The third door lead back to the first room where MTF Eta-10 first entered. MTF Eta-10 regrouped outside the bedroom door and attempted to leave, however, the door that MTF Eta-10 was now on the roof. Foundation control deemed the operation a failure and the MTF Eta-10 personal lost.
Closing Statement:
The Regal Tower II has been purchased by the Foundation due to the incident. The MTF Eta-10 personal eventually reported that both SCP-XXXX-2 specimens had disappeared. It is unclear what happened to both SCP-XXXX-1A and SCP-XXXX-1B. Both specimens disappeared and the SCP-XXXX event finished. All personal were successfully retrieved and taken to emergency care due to severe dehydration and starvation. All members have fully recovered and are seeing active duty again.

Special Containment Procedures: The seal to SCP-XXXX's chamber cannot be broken. In the event that the door seal is broken, site-66 is to be locked down, and MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters") is to be deployed. When SCP-XXXX is needed off-site, MTF-Beta-7 are to assist in its containment/relocation. Any traces of SCP-XXXX-2 is to be kept inside SCP-XXXX-1 at all times. Any traces found outside SCP-XXXX-1 are to be incinerated.
SCP-XXXX-3 specimens are to be kept in standard humanoid chambers in the biological hazard wing of site-66. SCP-XXXX-3 chambers should be kept clear of powered flashlights/bulbs/etc. SCP-XXXX-3 specimens are sentient creatures. As such they behave erratically. See addendum SCP-XXXX-3 behavioural patterns.
Caution is advised when approaching SCP-XXXX-3 subjects. Hostile force is authorised if the subject does not comply with foundation orders. When any SCP-XXXX-3 specimens are terminated, class-D personal are to be used as host's for SCP-XXXX-2 to produce replacements. SCP-XXXX-3 should not be replaced. New SCP-XXXX-3's can be used for testing purposes, however, foundation personal should prioritize the reuse of SCP-XXXX-3 made for other tests (exceptions can be made if the test requires fresh/clean SCP-XXXX-3).
When referring to SCP-XXXX(-1,-2,-3,-4) as a collective of 2 or more, it should be referred to as SCP-XXXX (this is to minimise confusion).
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a bag of fertilizer weighing approximately 3kg, filled with SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 is fertilizer, that when organic matter is within 4 metres (without obstruction) of SCP-XXXX-2, the contents of SCP-XXXX-1 (SCP-XXXX-2) propels itself towards the subject. When SCP-XXXX-2 embeds itself into the skin of the subject with a series of microscopic hooks and pincers. The host then feels paresthesia across all points of contact, before it spreads to encumber the entire body. SCP-XXXX-2 then grows grass, moss, leaves, plants, fungi, and branches/bark (all native to the southeastern region of North America) over the host (SCP-XXXX-3). The process is painful for SCP-XXXX-3. The plant life spawned from SCP-XXXX-2 will usually cover:
- One or both of the temples
- Face (lips, nose, and cheeks)
- Arms (forearm and bicep)
- Shoulder blades
- Stomach
- Thighs and shins
- Hands and feet
During the transformation, bark will grow over the lips and cheeks, and the eyes will sink into their sockets. These changes are consistent with all SCP-XXXX-3 specimens. The plant/fungal growths will usually concentrate around the initial points of contact. It is unknown if the effects of SCP-XXXX(-2) can be reverted. SCP-XXXX-3 specimens have shown that they are not sentient. SCP-XXXX-3's are highly susceptible to light and will experience rashes and skin conditions when exposed to natural/artificial light sources. SCP-XXXX-3's behave erratically, depending on the host. SCP-XXXX-3 has shown to be aggressive, disorientated, etc. See addendum SCP-XXXX-3 behavioural patterns.
SCP-XXXX-3 will produce spores (SCP-XXXX-4). They act as a less potent form of SCP-XXXX-2. When SCP-XXXX-4 makes contact with fertilizer/plant matter, it will convert it into SCP-XXXX-2. Full conversion of the matter takes 4-5 minutes for conversion. If the material is moved during conversion, the process ceases and must be repeated again. SCP-XXXX-4 appears 4-5 months into the 'evolution' of SCP-XXXX-3. During its discovery (see addendum SCP-XXXX discovery report) SCP-XXXX-4 had interfered with communication equipment in the cellar. SCP-XXXX-4 is relatively safe to breathe in for short periods of time before the subject dies of asphyxiation.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX discovery report
SCP-XXXX was discovered in northwestern Florida by MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters"), in the cellar of the [REDACTED] family home. The home was 2 stories high with an attic in the southernmost point of the home. The home was in disrepair. The floor of the attic had given way (due to the various pieces of furniture stored there by the [REDACTED] household), the white paint on the fences/walls had chipped away, and there were multiple holes (13) in the plaster of the walls. The home was isolated from civilization (the nearest town was ██.2 km away).
"We began our investigation into that house after the families neighbours reported to police that 'all attempts they had made to contact them had failed,' and that 'their house was in disrepair.' They also told police that they saw 'plant people' when they searched the cellar. I'm surprised nobody else helped █████ and I search down there, initially, that is."
-MTF Luietennant [DATA EXPUNGED], Beta-7
The cellar entrance, stairs, and the cellar itself were covered in vines, moss, fungi and roots. MTF Beta-7 lieutenant's █████ and [DATA EXPUNGED] were tasked with searching the cellar. While they were down there, all communication with █████ and [DATA EXPUNGED] had ceased (due to the amount of SCP-XXXX-4 present in the air). Shortly after losing contact, gunfire was heard from the cellar. Sargent ████ and cadets [DATA EXPUNGED] and [REDACTED] had run down into the cellar to assist the lieutenants, only to find 4 dead SCP-XXXX-3s and SCP-XXXX. The SCP-XXXX-3 corpses were transported to the site-66 morgue.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-3 behavioural patterns
SCP-XXXX-3 specimens have shown a variety of emotions. SCP-XXXX-3 has proven to be hard to read, leading to the deaths/infections of several persons (specifically MTF cadets and research personal). Due to this safety risk, a list of emotions/symptoms have been listed, and how you should react:
- Passive
SCP-XXXX-3 shows no physical changes to any parts of its body (notably iris). SCP-XXXX-3 are usually compliant. When SCP-XXXX-3 is not compliant, amenities, threats etc can be used to convince SCP-XXXX-3 to comply. Termination of the subject is not required.
- Ecstasy
The irises of SCP-XXXX-3 will dilate, SCP-XXXX-3 will also become more hyperactive. SCP-XXXX-3's in this state poses a minor security risk to personal without proper protective clothing. SCP-XXXX-3 is always compliant. Termination of the subject is not required.
- Melancholy
The irises of SCP-XXXX-3 will constrict slightly. SCP-XXXX-3 will be hard to cooperate with. Amenities can be provided if SCP-XXXX-3 complies with foundation instructions. If SCP-XXXX-3 does not comply with foundation orders and enters an aggressive state, termination is authorised in self-defence/defence of foundation personal. If the subject does not enter an aggressive state, termination of the subject is not required.
- Aggressive
The irises of SCP-XXXX-3 will constrict. SCP-XXXX-3 will be uncooperative. SCP-XXXX-3 can be reasoned with if necessary, however, communication is difficult. Termination is authorised if they do not comply.
- Fear
The irises of SCP-XXXX-3 will constrict. SCP-XXXX-3 will act apprehensive to sudden audio and visual stimuli. SCP-XXXX-3 will be hard to cooperate with. Threats or amenities have proven in the past to work to get SCP-XXXX-3 to comply with foundation protocols. SCP-XXXX-3 can be terminated if given proper authorisation to do so (Level 3+).
These 5 emotions are the most common emotions displayed by SCP-XXXX-3. Other emotions are capable but fall under the 5 primary categories.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX-3 personal
Note: All SCP-XXXX-3A to 3J (except 3G) have been terminated either in tests or by the containment breach at site-66. 3K-3O are their successors. We are looking into this.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX Testing
Test A - Date
Subject:
Subject is D-████-A (SCP-XXXX-3A).Procedure:
D-████-A is to approach SCP-XXXX.Results:
D-████-A approaches SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2 propels itself towards D-████-A. D-████-A is transformed into an SCP-XXXX-3 (reclassed later as SCP-XXXX-3A).Analysis:
SCP-XXXX-3A appeared frightened, according to researchers. Security personal entered the containment chamber to transfer SCP-XXXX-3 to a standard humanoid cell. SCP-XXXX-3A approached personal (estimated for help). Researcher [DATA EXPUNGED] ordered security personal to terminate SCP-XXXX-3A.
Test B - Date
Subjects:
D-████-(B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J).Procedure:
D-████-(B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J) were to approach SCP-XXXX-2 to create SCP-XXXX-3 for future testing.Results:
D-████-(B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J) approach SCP-XXXX one at a time. Each one transforms into SCP-XXXX-3(B, C, D, etc).Analysis:
Foundation personal now have access to 9 SCP-XXXX-3 specimens. Foundation personal sound remember that all 9 of these specimens have been terminated (due almost entirely to MTF Beta-7. SCP-XXXX-3G is the exception).
Test C - Date
Subject:
SCP-XXXX-3B.Procedure:
Due to the fear shown in SCP-XXXX-3A (post-transformation, prior to termination), SCP-XXXX-3B is to respond (point to the signs) with 'yes', 'no', or 'I don't know' to foundation questions. D-Cadet Evans is to act as immediate security personal if SCP-XXXX-3B is not compliant. D-████-B prior to transformation was asked a series of questions. Certain questions will be repeats of these to test their recollection of memories. Results:
Dr Henderson: D-████-B, you are being reclassed as SCP-XXXX-3B. Respond or you will be terminated. We see you can't exactly talk anymore, respond by raising your left arm.SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B raises its arm.
Dr Henderson: SCP-XXXX-3B. On the table, there are three sheets of paper. Have a seat.
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B walks towards the chair, but pauses.
Dr Henderson: SCP-XXXX-3B, would you rather stand?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B shakes its head and sits down.
Dr Henderson: SCP-XXXX-3B, it is evident so far that you understand me. Do you have any of D-████-B's memories?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to yes.
Dr Henderson: Are you in pain?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to I don't know.
Dr Henderson: Can you feel anything?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to yes.
Dr Henderson: Do you think the others are sentient?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to I don't know.
Dr Henderson: There is a folder with more answer sheets. Pull them out.
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B complies.
Dr Henderson: What is your favourite colour?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to blue.
Dr Henderson: Did you have a cat?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to no.
Dr Henderson: Do you even know what a cat is?
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to yes.
Dr Henderson: Point to the cat.
SCP-XXXX-3B: SCP-XXXX-3B points to the picture of the cat.
Dr Henderson: Conclude the test. I've seen enough. And don't terminate the subject. Transfer them all to airlock sealed chambers. And make sure they're isolated. All but two.
Cadet Evans: Just this one?
Dr Henderson: Them all.
Cadet Evans complies. All SCP-XXXX-3's are transferred to airlock sealed chambers.
Analysis:
SCP-XXXX-3 specimens are sentient and can recall memories prior to transformation. Further testing scheduled.
Test D - Date
Subjects:
SCP-XXXX-3(C+D)Procedure:
SCP-XXXX-3C and SCP-XXXX-3D are to remain isolated together for 1 week. Results:
** *Day 1:** SCP-XXXX-3C has attempted to 'communicate' with SCP-XXXX-3D. SCP-XXXX-3D is not responsive.** *Day 2:** SCP-XXXX-3C is still attempting to 'communicate' with SCP-XXXX-3D. SCP-XXXX-3D remains unresponsive, prioritizing investigating the cell for a potential escape.
** *Day 3:** SCP-XXXX-3C has (temporarily) halted all attempts to communicate with SCP-XXXX-3D. SCP-XXXX-3D is still attempting to escape.
** *Day 4:** SCP-XXXX-3C has yet to attempt to communicate with SCP-XXXX-3D. SCP-XXXX-3D is still attempting to escape.
** *Day 5:** SCP-XXXX-3C has yet to attempt to communicate with SCP-XXXX-3D. SCP-XXXX-3D is still attempting to escape.
** *Day 6:** SCP-XXXX-3C has attempted to communicate with SCP-XXXX-3D. SCP-XXXX-3D has stopped looking for an escape.
** *Day 7:** SCP-XXXX-3D has terminated SCP-XXXX-3C.
Analysis:
SCP-XXXX-3D is hypothesised to have killed SCP-XXXX-3C either to A) Obtain food (which is no longer necessary after transformation) or B) to get SCP-XXXX-3C to stop all attempts at communication. SCP-XXXX-3D has been terminated.
Addendum: Ethics regarding the use/termination of SCP-XXXX(-3)
SCP-XXXX-3 specimens have shown to be sentient on several occasions. See addendum SCP-XXXX testing. Due to the containment breach at site-66, all SCP-XXXX-3 specimens were accidentally neutralized by MTF Beta-7. The MTF commander [REDACTED] had this to say:
When we had gotten called in, it was alongside [MTF Theta-4]. We had been airlifted in, I think it was a miscommunication between [Dr ████] and us both. He had given us orders to neutralise any potential threats, while [MTF Theta-4] was trying to extract them. They got one out. Think they called it SCP-XXXX-3G.
-MTF Commander [REDACTED], Beta-7
This response has prompted the ethics committee to look further into the topic. Upon further inspection, SCP-XXXX(-3) testing now requires level 4 access. Researchers [DATA EXPUNGED]-1, [DATA EXPUNGED]-2 (they have requested their names to be expunged from the record), and Dr Hendserson of the ethics committee had a debate regarding the use/continued existence of SCP-XXXX-3. The following transcript has been locked by the ethics committee to level 4 clearance and higher.

Interviewers/Interviewees: [DATA EXPUNGED]-1 (ethics committee), [DATA EXPUNGED]-2 (ethics committee), Dr Hendserson (ethics committee)
Foreword: [DATA EXPUNGED]-1 places multiple incident reports (the ethics committee has had these stricken from the SCP-XXXX file and ███ ███ ██ █████ ██ ███ ██████ █████████'s private file). Both parties had 30 minutes to convince [DATA EXPUNGED]-1.
<Begin Log, ██:██>
[DATA EXPUNGED]-1: Gentlemen, we all know why we are here. For the record, we are debating the ethics of SCP-XXXX-3. Please state your name for the record. I am [DATA EXPUNGED]-1, ethics committee.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: I am [DATA EXPUNGED]-2, ethics committee.
Dr Henderson: I am Dr Henderson, ethics committee.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-1: Now, I am acting as both judge and jury in this debate. [DATA EXPUNGED]-2 believes that SCP-XXXX-3 testing should be approved and performed by the ethics committee, and Dr Henderson believes testing should resume as normal.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: If I might ask, Dr Henderson, why in the ███████ hell do you think we should continue testing how it is? It's highly unethical.
Dr Henderson: First of all, I understand where you're coming from, and yes, I agree. It is unethical, but that is our job. To define what is too harsh. I believe that this is not harsh enough to get prohibited. Too harsh would be keeping them locked in cells, with no amenities, and they are in constant pain.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: You do realise that SCP-XXXX-3's are sentient, right? The literal definition of sentience is to - and I quote: [be] 'able to perceive or feel things. They clearly have emotions. Regular personal clearly have shown they are incompetent at reaching the natural requirements of SCP-XXXX-3. And you know what is worse? SCP-XXXX-3 requires on average fewer resources for its health! If they can't satiate these needs, then how do we know they're satiating other sentient SCPs needs? We don't.
Dr Henderson: Yes, I am aware that SCP-XXXX-3 specimens are sentient.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: Then you're aware that they often suffer from psychological effects due to the transformation, notably fear and confusion. Can you blame them? They have been transformed into something they can't comprehend! It's rare to see one be, you know, happy.
Dr Henderson: Psychological effects are already being accounted for in current testing procedures. We do not need to accommodate them further. And it's not impossible for SCP-XXXX-3
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: Then you're aware that they often suffer from psychological effects due to the transformation, notably fear and confusion. It's rare to see one be, you know, happy.
Dr Henderson: Psychological effects are already being accounted for in current testing procedures. We do not need to accommodate them further.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: At the least, we need to address the fact that almost all the SCP-XXXX-3 instances we kept for observation were gunned down by our mobile task forces. We are going to bring this up, right?
Dr Henderson: Yes, we are bringing up that incident. Once again I agree, our mobile task forces should have attempted to contain them, before terminating them. But this was an accident. A miscommunication. These happen all the time!
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2: It's not good enough!
[DATA EXPUNGED]-2 slams his hand against the table, knocking over the recording equipment. All three members pause the tape and set up the recording software again. [DATA EXPUNGED]-1 turns on the recording equipment.
[DATA EXPUNGED]-1: [DATA EXPUNGED]-2 had accidentally knocked over the recording equipment, hence the pause in the recording. No debating happened whatsoever, and the time will not be added to the overall time. I am requesting a second debate at a later time.
<End Log, ██:██>
Closing Statement: [DATA EXPUNGED]-1's request has been denied and [DATA EXPUNGED]-2 has been demoted for damaging sound equipment. This disqualified [DATA EXPUNGED]-2's argument and therefore Dr Henderson won the debate. Testing is still authorised as initially conceived.

Addendum: The site-66 containment breach
Date : 1/6/20██
Begin LogPrior to the breach, it was unknown that SCP-XXXX-3 produced spores of SCP-XXXX-4. At the time, it was still an ongoing debate whether SCP-XXXX-3 required oxygen from outside sources. The SCP-XXXX-4 travelled through the ventilation shafts until reaching (presumably) reaching a researchers plant. Afterwards, it converted the plant cells into SCP-XXXX-2. This would go on to infect the researcher (the identity of whom is unknown, as multiple foundation persons were KIA during the breach).
The SCP-XXXX-3 specimen (who will remain uncategorised due to not participating in testing) would then wander the halls until they were spotted on the security cameras. By this point, however, the ventilation shafts were filled with SCP-XXXX-4, spreading to other plant matter and infecting more people. Eventually, the facility lost power (due to the SCP-XXXX-4).
Mobile task forces Beta-7 and Theta-4 were called in to site-66 by different researchers (Dr ████ and unknown) to kill or extract the original specimens respectively. Theta-4 were successful in securing SCP-XXXX-3G, however, during the blackout, the original SCP-XXXX-3 specimens were terminated. Flame throwers and other incendiary weapons were used to clear the SCP-XXXX-4 infestation.
