Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is not to be used as a deterrent or a security measure to any capacity, due to the failed attempts to detach SCP-XXXX-4 and -5 from SCP-XXXX-1 permanently to avoid possible casualties. The object is to be kept in a reinforced high-security locker accessed only by the head researcher with proper documentation of the approval of testing from The O5-Council.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a Police and/or Security Guard Modular Equipment Belt made of nylon with a tag with “11/100” written with hard to read handwriting. The tag cannot be removed by any means and the correct numbering is still debatable.

Note: It is speculated that some numbers on the tag could be misinterpreted due to the effect of Misidentification of Alphanumeric Symbols.¹

SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties were discovered while looking at past security tapes of an SCP-XXXX-A subject. It’s various additional accessories (SCP-XXXX-2 to -6) hold anomalous properties when in use. (See Below.)

SCP-XXXX comprises of the belt meas. 1.5 m (SCP-XXXX-1) and 5 additional accessories. A handcuff (SCP-XXXX-2), a flashlight (SCP-XXXX-3), an extendable baton expanding up to 70 cm (SCP-XXXX-4), a baton meas. 70 cm (SCP-XXXX-5) and one mace or pepper spray bottle with a volume 118 mL (SCP-XXXX-6).

SCP-XXXX-2:
SCP-XXXX-2, is capable of chaining anything to anything securely without showing any flex whatsoever when pushed to over 1 500 MPa, trying to stretch SCP-XXXX-2. If something tries to slip from SCP-XXXX-2’s grip, the item will as if instinctevely tighten itself until whatever its gripping, can’t escape. Testing ongoing.

SCP-XXXX-3:
SCP-XXXX-3 will produce a blinding light that will cause immediate blindness to anyone viewing SCP-XXXX-3’s light directly. If the light is viewed when not being shone at the viewer, it has no effect. When viewing this light from a recording or a direct feed, it has no effect. The light itself has shown to have a consistency of 235-240 lumen.

SCP-XXXX-4 & SCP-XXXX-5:
SCP-XXXX-4, when extended, will not display any visually noticeable qualities, but when hit by SCP-XXXX-A at a subject, SCP-XXXX-4 will emit a high voltage of electricity. The subject will be hit with an unnatural 450,000 volts of electricity, killing the subject. This applies to SCP-XXXX-5. No electrical components are inside both SCP-XXXX-4 or SCP-XXXX-5 so it is unknown how this electricity is emitted. The voltage does not emit when the item is not extended.

SCP-XXXX-6:
SCP-XXXX-6 will produce spray of liquid when triggered, this liquid is colored orange and when triggered the liquid will travel in a curved or even straight trajectory into the selected target’s eyes. When sprayed on a subject’s eyes, they will proceed to lay on the ground showing emotions of regret, sadness and will react to any command as cooperatively, apart from when commanded to get up, the subjects would plead, telling the pain was too unbearable. The effect lasted for 2 hours before subsiding. If the SCP-XXXX-A individual isn’t pointing at the subject of intent, the spray will then proceed to go approximately 3 metres to the pointed direction. The spray of SCP-XXXX-6 was tested to be have 1.3% of Oleoresin Capsicum, which is the an agent used in pepper spray. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX-6’s spray is able to do this. The anomalous effects of the spray in all tests ceased to be after 2 hours.

Documented Results:
SCP-XXXX-2 seems to be the only item that continues to function without the SCP-XXXX-A subject needing to wear SCP-XXXX and without suffering the effect of SCP-XXXX-0. Also the only one that doesn't reappear to its holster after being away from SCP-XXXX-1 for 10 minutes, in fact SCP-XXXX-2 has not reappeared in its holster at all after gone through multiple sets of tests for over 10 hours. Although SCP-XXXX-3,-4,-5,-6 will not continue to have their anomalous effect shown after the SCP-XXXX-0 effect is removed.

Discovery:
SCP-XXXX was recovered on July 8th, 20██ but the foundation has known about SCP-XXXX’s existence since January 26th, 20██. SCP-XXXX was recovered after an executive from The ████████ of America in Redmond, Washington, made a 911 call after discovering SCP-XXXX after a SCP-XXXX-0 event. (See below.)

SCP-XXXX has the anomalous ability to terminate the victim after precisely 3 hours and 35 minutes has passed since the subject has secured the locking clip on SCP-XXXX-1 to their waist. The termination involves the subject being turned into a stone statue resembling themselves, frozen inanimate without showing any sign of life, including their current apparel, excluding SCP-XXXX, after seven (7) seconds of the event, a plaque will appear on the middle of the statue’s chest. The plaque will have the subject’s first name and surname carved into it, with a subtext below it that reads in Latin: (lit. trans.) “Immortalized.” After the subject has put on SCP-XXXX they will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-A and the termination event will be referred as SCP-XXXX-0.

The only way to prevent termination of the subject wearing SCP-XXXX is to remove it by any means possible. SCP-XXXX does not require a specific method of removal, according to the results of experiment (experiment name). SCP-XXXX is required to be removed by the subject who is in possession of SCP-XXXX to follow standard Protocol-XXXX. (See Protocol-XXXX below.)

+ Protocol-XXXX

Introduction
Protocol-XXXX is a protocol a on how to safely remove SCP-XXXX from the waist without causing an unnecessary casualty or casualties during testing.

Requirements
SCP-XXXX must be removed at a time when there are no less than thirty (30) minutes of the 3 hours 35 minutes left until the SCP-XXXX-0 event occurs. This is to avoid failure with opening the locking clip.

In the event of there being under five (5) minutes left of the SCP-XXXX-0 event, the subject should remove SCP-XXXX by sliding SCP-XXXX from the waist down to their feet, removing SCP-XXXX of their person.

SCP-XXXX cannot be removed by a non SCP-XXXX-A subject. This will result in an SCP-XXXX-02 event, when both the assistant to the removal (referred now as SCP-XXXX-B) and SCP-XXXX-A being both turned into stone. After seven (7) seconds of this occurring a plaque will appear on SCP-XXXX-B with their first name and surname including a subtext in Latin: (lit. trans.) ”Opposer of the Law”. With the SCP-XXXX-A subject having the same subtext ”Secured”.

Optional Requirement
It is the responsibility of anyone experimenting SCP-XXXX on D-Class to inform the D-Class of Protocol-XXXX, however this is not required.
