Special Containment Procedures: SCP-00 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell at site-17 modified to suit its disabilities. SCP-00 is permitted to leave its cell whenever it wishes and is given socialization privileges. Should SCP-00 remain asleep for more then fifteen (15) hours the site director must be notified. SCP-00 has been given leave to avoid sleep for as long as possible, however, personal are not permitted to assist in this regard.

SCP-00 is allowed access to physical and mental therapy. Any and all wounds it sustains during sleep are to be examined and cataloged, no matter how miniscule. Due to its many health concerns SCP-00 has been given several medical devices to ease its day to day life.

  • One (1) leg brace.
  • Two (2) hearing aids.
  • A wheelchair (Requested and approved).
  • Dentures.
  • One (1) cane.
  • One (1) eye patch.

Description: SCP-00 is a 6'0ft, 1.8 meters tall, Caucasian male of Russian origin with brown hair and one blue eye, with the birth name Artyom Vladimir Alexeev, original assumed missing on ██/█/███. Over 60% of its body is covered in some form of scar tissue and it is suffering from several health defects and disabilities. Some notable damages include:

  • Severe burns on the majority of the left side of its head, including its left eye socket which is completely gone and replaced with burns.
  • Left arm below the elbow has been severed.
  • Limp in its right leg due to a muscle group being torn out.
  • It is missing several teeth.
  • Severe tinnitus.

SCP-00 also has some mental disorders as well, PTSD, clinical depression, an anxiety disorder and either has insomnia or is actively avoiding sleep of its own freewill. However it is also believed to have come in contact with several congnitohazards and other mind altering memetic objects or entity's, as it has shown symptoms similar too [DATA EXPUNGED] and [DATA EXPUNGED] memory corruption. Additionally it has a unique form of body dysmorphia.

SCP-00 anomalous properties activate when it falls asleep in anyway. When SCP-00 is asleep its body will manifest wounds and damages despite nothing causing them. The type of wounds its body will manifest appears to be random, to date everything ranging from bullet wounds, burn damage and lacerations have manifested. Blood loss has also been substantial, however at times wounds do not bleed as profusely as they should, as if a bandage that we cannot see has been placed on them. Broken bones work the same way as compound fractures have formed and have been reset on their own.

These wounds and blood loss heal near instantly upon waking, leaving behind only scar tissue. These scars have been, so far, irreversible and appear to be permanent as none have shown sign of fading. Bone damage seems to follow a different logic, as wounds, such as a broken spine, that should leave permanent damage do not.

SCP-00 claims the reason for these damages are its dreams. SCP-00 claims that whenever it sleeps it dreams itself in hazardous situations. These dreams typically involve worlds that appear to be undergoing end of the world scenarios. SCP-00 has stated that one way or another it has to put its self in danger to end these situations, enduring mass trauma to its person. SCP-00 stated that some worlds appear to be un-savable and that they are just filled with hostile entities that it must protect itself against. Additionally SCP-00 has stated that these dreams are completely lifelike and it retains all memory of them upon waking.

Originally believed to be SCP-1237-1-positive, this theory was soon disproved due to the rapid succession of its dreams and the fact that SCP-00 doesn't show any REM sleep signs or even has any brain activity at all while sleeping. SCP-00 has also shown knowledge of things it could not have possibly know beforehand; for instance SCP-00 once entered a dream where it assisted MTF [DATA EXPUNGED] in re-containing several SCPs during a containment breach. Despite Having no knowledge of the Foundation before hand. Due to all this, the Foundation believes it is telling the truth.

Circumstance of Recovery: SCP-00 was recovered from ██████████ hospital in Moscow. After reports of a homeless man being miraculously healed from a stab wound. SCP Foundation agents in Russia were then sent to investigate. SCP-00 was then transferred to Foundation custody, medical staff of the hospital were given false memories, a mass miss information campaign painted the original story as a hoax. When asked how SCP-00 was able to avoid being discovered for ten years, subject stated it took great measures to hide its nature by taking the identity of homeless war veteran, SCP-00 would not disclose as to why it chose to hide its anomalous properties.
