Special Containment Procedures: A 10 ft. iron fence with a 5 ft. long gate will be built around SCP-XXXX. Two armed guards will guard the gate at all times.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a lake in █████, Texas, USA. All plant life near SCP-XXXX withers away in 5-10 minutes. Large amounts of SCP-XXXX-1 are present in SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-1 refers to the seaweed that grows in SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 has a composition equal to normal seaweed, and is at first completely normal. SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous properties show when any life form¹ enters SCP-XXXX.

When a the life form enters SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 will grab it and pull it down. Once the subject is drowned, it will be pulled under SCP-XXXX-1 and will disappear through unknown means.

SCP-XXXX was brought into the foundations attention when a group of teenagers went missing after swimming in SCP-XXXX. The foundation was alerted and took actions immediately.
