Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must never be more than 50 meters away from SCP-XXXX-1 or restrained in any form. SCP-XXXX-1 must receive one (1) gallon of water poured evenly around its base every 9-12 hours, preferably when SCP-XXXX is sleeping. No is to come into physical contact with SCP-XXXX-1.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a vulture of average size and weight with eyes glossed over by a luminescent neon yellow substance. The organism was located in a forest circling SCP-XXXX-1 outside ████████, Ohio, when dozens of reports of persons, with similar mental illnesses, going missing were made within the month of October, 20██ (see Document XXXX-D2). SCP-XXXX-1 is a mature oak tree with streaks of yellow duct tape randomly running up and down the trunk. When SCP-XXXX-1 was approached, SCP-XXXX showed signs of distress and agitation.

SCP-XXXX displays an intimate connection with SCP-XXXX-1, in such that the attempts to intimidate anyone comes within 3 meters of it (see Report XXXX-R1).

SCP-XXXX's "Golden Trigger" is being near anyone with depression. When a D-Class personnel with bipolar depression entered SCP-XXXX's holding area, SCP-XXXX's feathers turned golden and it flew at the D-Class personnel, but reacted uniquely than it had previously (see Report XXXX-R2).

Date: October 30, 20██.

Foundation Agents attempted to capture the organism in a net, when it then screeched and flew at Agent O██████, who threw the net, unbothered by the net's weight and coverage. When the organism reached the Agent, it placed its claws on the agent's shoulder and released another screech. Tape from SCP-XXXX-1 (henceforth referred to as SCP-XXXX-2) spread from the base of the trunk of SCP-XXXX-1, across the ground, until it reached the agent's feet. It then began to cover the agent quickly. Once the agent was fully covered, SCP-XXXX flew into the branches of SCP-XXXX-1 and returned to a state of calm. The covered agent had become a shell of SCP-XXXX-2, with the agent disappeared from inside. All contact with the agent was lost.

The Agents then attempted to cut down SCP-XXXX-1. Upon doing so, SCP-XXXX flew to Agent F████ and Agent H████, in which the same occurrence took place as did with Agent O██████. After this incident, the remaining agents were green-lit to observe SCP-XXXX for four (4) days (see Report XXXX-R1). After enough information was collected, the agents dug up a circle around SCP-XXXX-1, staying 3 meters away from the trunk. While SCP-XXXX-1 was being transported to Site-19, SCP-XXXX followed while showing no agitation.

Since the incident with Agents O██████, F████, and H████, SCP-XXXX has shown no sign of aggression, or even the slightest bit of concern for our presence. However, around T+18 minutes after the incident, SCP-XXXX flew down to the base of SCP-XXXX-1 and circled it for approximately 7 minutes.

Yesterday, I requested two D-Class personnel be transported to SCP-XXXX-1's current location (I've established this location as Location Alpha). Once the personnel arrived (today, 7:44), I had one (D-Class 95███) slowly approach SCP-XXXX-1, but not come into contact with it. SCP-XXXX ignored D-Class 95███ until he reached the 3 meter mark, in which SCP-XXXX instantaneously started staring at the D-Class personnel and lifting its wings in agitation. At the 1 meter mark, SCP-XXXX began screeching at the D-Class personnel. I told him to retreat. Once he left the 3 meter ring, SCP-XXXX immediately returned to a docile state. I'm going to have a D-Class make contact with SCP-XXXX-1 and monitor the reaction of SCP-XXXX.

At 12:00 exactly, SCP-XXXX's feathers turned to gold, and the organism took off at an incredible speed toward downtown ████████. We scrambled to get into the vehicles to track down SCP-XXXX, but our efforts were futile. After half an hour of searching, I received a call from one of the researchers that remained at Location Alpha, saying SCP-XXXX returned to the branches of SCP-XXXX-1. We visited the ███████ Police Department, and sure enough, another kid had gone missing. They gave me a list of all of the missing persons. I'll have to take a close look, see if I can find and hidden connections.

Based off of what SCP-XXXX did yesterday, and the timeliness of it, I assume it won't be stealing anymore kids. I'm going to send in a D-Class to touch SCP-XXXX-1.

I sent D-Class 84███ in to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX still gave the whole show of screeching and whatnot, but the second D-Class touched SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 [REDACTED] to the point where D-Class 84███ [REDACTED]. We immediately sent him back to Site-19, where he could be treated for his injuries.

The duct tape on SCP-XXXX-1 began glow at a low level out of nowhere. With no obvious stimuli, I interrogated everyone on Location Alpha. One of the guards, ██████, who was at watch during the time of the occurrence, was playing music to keep himself awake. With no other possible explanation, I acted on it. We plugged ██████'s into a speaker and began playing the music. We weren't getting anything from SCP-XXXX-1 until we stumbled across [REDACTED] by [REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX-1's tape began to glow furiously and SCP-XXXX bounced to the beat of the song, while its feathers were slowly turning golden. It's time to bring it back to Site for further research.
