Special Containment Procedures SCP-1 is to be stored in a standard secure container at Site-17 staffed by at least 2 guards known to have exceptionally high chemical tolerance to Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other mentally altering substances found in genus cannabis. SCP-1 is only to be removed from containment during testing. All testing must be approved by at least 2 level 4 or higher personnel.

Description: SCP-1 is a small glass smoking pipe (SCP-1-A) containing 3.3 grams of marijuana indica (SCP-1-B). All attempts to remove SCP-1-B from SCP-1-A have been unsuccessful. When SCP-1-B is consumed by use of SCP-1-A, the subject (SCP-1-C) will experience the effects concurrent with non-anomalous marijuana. Any member of the Kingdom Animalia within 2 kilometers of SCP-1-C will experience the conversion of molecular compounds in the brain to the equivalent amount of THC consumed by SCP-1-C, thus causing the same effect
