Special Containment Procedures:
Due the the nature of SCP-2188, it is difficult for the Foundation to respond directly to in-progress SCP-2188 events. Nonetheless, surveillance has been established and a map of common SCP-2188 routes has been defined. Any reports of SCP-2188 require their subjects to be discredited or amnesticized following confirmation of the occurrence from sensory array. An island-wide network consisting of special equipment sensitive to ██████ waves has been in operation for over ██ years. This system is to be activated on days suspected to support SCP-2188 manifestation (see document 2188-█ for further details and a list of currently-attributed days), through which any alterations to the route map may be devised. The array must be inspected for integrity every week (with necessary repairs made). This involves island-wide operations, usually requiring lengthy efforts to conduct in secrecy. Sightings of SCP-2188 must be observed through said array. Procedure Lambda-25/ALPHA has been created to influence the routes of SCP-2118 occurrences and is conducted on a frequent basis by Mobile Task Force unit Lambda-25, "Loco' Boys". Operation of this procedure is among Lambda-25's many responsibilities in regards to SCP-2188.
At least 2 field offices in each Hawaiian island must maintain a reserve of SCP-2188/2 instances to support procedure Lambda-25/ALPHA and for emergency use. An alternative, more concealable means of producing ██████ waves is under development.
