Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5025 is to be kept in a locked container at all times, with another container placed over the Item in order for it to be untouchable. The locked container should be within another locked container with thicker walls, in the event of it becoming more powerful.

Description: SCP-5025 (The Gaze) is a child's notebook with several drawings in it. one of these drawings includes a strange, undetailed humanoid with a large growth on the left of its head. This growth appears to be a strange eyeball with a green center in the pupil. People have reported to me that staring into this center with a very fast heartbeat causes heavy damage. Some have said it shows the victim's greatest fear in order to torture them mentally, and some others have said that friends and relatives killed themselves after stating they heard an arsenal of high frequency sounds play in their head. It seems that this drawing, or as I have dubbed it, The Gaze, will always bring the user to insanity or fear in an effort to make them kill themselves. it has also been reported that the drawing can detect your pulse while touching it as well. It cannot move, and should be in a constant lockdown. SCP-5025 may also be capable of containing other SCPs, since the effect of it is supposedly random and could possibly be used on an SCP with constant states of fear or hyperactivity. There is no known way to combat SCP-5025, and the unfortunate victims have also reported symptoms of SCP-5025 from outside the areas it has previously been stowed away.
