Special Containment Procedures: The containment of SCP-XXXX is not confined to only one area for the reason that, to date, there are many locations that serve as the entrance to SCP-XXXX. For these entrances, a twenty-kilometer exclusion zone has been established around the radius of the tunnels. This area is to be handled by Foundation personnel at all times and is strictly guarded by Mobile Task Forces Epsilon-6 and Tau-4. Long-term research facilities have been established in the 10 km perimeter, labeled as the Safe Zone. Currently, the Mobile Task Forces are instructed to protect the field researchers from hostile attacks of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-Myalo entities. Civilians who have trespassed the tunnels are to be initially contained and quickly questioned about their interactions with the entities and SCP-XXXX itself, after which they should be administered with Class A amnestic and dropped off at their hometowns.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a wide hollow interior of the Earth, coordinates [REDACTED]. It was theorized to exist in 1692 by Edmund Halley as a way of explaining anomalous compass readings. Halley’s theory is that the planet is a series of nested, spherical shells, spinning in different directions, all surrounding a central core, which posited that the space between each shell may have had luminous atmospheres capable of supporting life. It was discovered by the Foundation after many sighting reports of civilians about a cave where “old creatures” thrive. There are numerous tunnels discovered that lead to SCP-XXXX. All these locations have shown in records that the Hollow Earth is located at exactly 60 km underneath the tunnels. The main tunnels are those that are found in the North and South poles. Other entrances in locations which have been cited include:

- Staffordshire, England
- Montreal, Canada
- Hangchow, China
- Amazon Rainforest
The locations provide a way to enter the Earth’s lithosphere and the interior of these tunnels are characterized by prehistoric plants that are condensed in faunal and floral life within. Plants such as spore-bearing plants (pteridophytes) such as ferns, horsetails (sphenophytes), club-mosses (lycophytes) and whisk ferns (psilophytes) are abundant, along with plants Dutchman’s Pipe and Cycad. Water forms and landforms are also available, such as lakes and hills. Through testing and analysis of water and soil samples, they are proven to have no difference from the soil and water that are found on the surface, aside from that the soil is much older. It is believed that SCP-XXXX acquires a steady gas and oxygen supply because of the plant life within as well as the openings that provide access for oxygen, though researchers conclude that the oxygen supply inside SCP-XXXX is chiefly produced by the plants and planktons inside it.
SCP-XXXX is the habitat to every known species of dinosaurs, who do not display any anomalous properties. These dinosaurs are called SCP-XXXX-1 and are the most noticeable entities of SCP-XXXX. Upon cautious observation, these dinosaurs are exactly what science has provided for knowledge over the years, which meant that there are herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores among them. While the carnivores are hostile, the rest do no attack Foundation personnel. They are capable of natural and biological life functions such as reproduction and their exact population count is yet to be finalized. It is hypothesized that these dinosaurs are the survivors of an anomalous mass extinction event that took place millions of years ago, and this hypothesis is supported to be true by evidences found in SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX is believed to be an ancient SCP-1678 or UnLondon. While SCP-1678 is believed to have been constructed with the intent to harbor the survivors, mainly the human race, of an XK-class end-of-the-world event, SCP-XXXX is built to protect and save the dinosaur race from extinction, during a time that the day breaks in their era. This is evidenced by a report written by SCP-1000 or the highly-intelligent Big Foot, whose remains were found near a control panel inside what used to be a laboratory. The report is labeled as Report-XXXX-A and supports the idea of the SCP-XXXX as being related to UnLondon. However, data held by the control panel are no longer attainable, as the panel is too out of shape and order that it could no longer be repaired. Further sampling has found that the metalwork used in the panel was dated around 65 million years ago, which matches the recorded data of how long dinosaurs have been extinct.

abode has all that it has offered us even before.”
In the center of SCP-XXXX is what appears to be a ball of light that resembles the sun itself. Though it is noticeably smaller, its rays of light are more than enough to illuminate the interior of SCP-XXXX as well as provide heat and energy to the life around it. The temperature that it gives denies the laws of physics because of its anomalous activity to give the exact same benefits that normal sunlight gives but it is very much colder than the Sun. This entity is given the name SCP-XXXX-Myalo, derived from the Greek word for “brain” as it is believed that this entity is responsible for a hive mind connection among the SCP-XXXX-1 that habituate it. It is also believed that it is the “Brother” that SCP-1000 was pertaining to, as evidenced by another report from the same SCP, which has been labeled as Report-XXXX-B.

“What began as a paradise seemed to be taking its toll on the
survivors. Day by day, they seem to be controlled by... something.
I refuse to believe that this is the Brother’s doing but it is
the most logical reason. Suddenly, all the food and water are
cunning and deceiving. The Brother seems to control them but I
see no such harm in the action. They are controlled to move in
utmost synchronicity and that appears to be it, though I do not
know if there is another reason why the Brother is doing it.
Maybe it is to protect us, to prevent anyone from going outside
while the world perishes. I simply do not know, but I trust the
Brother.”
SCP-XXXX-Myalo is believed to gradually act as a hive mind to its inhabitants and it is unclear to what reason or purpose this action is. Though a hypothesis has been made that the hive mind’s purpose is designed to protect their sanctuary, which is SCP-XXXX itself. It is also in theory that SCP-XXXX-Myalo is executing this control to protect itself also.
The findings in SCP-XXXX and its strong relation to SCP-1678 has led to come into discussion if the human race would also be part of a hive mind designed to protect SCP-1678 and the intelligent
being responsible for creating it.
