Description
SCP-5104 is a 5.5 by 2.5 by 3.5 inch Brown Children’s book. Upon original inspection by Dr. Remi Malcom2 on Site-23 concluded that the cover of the object was a type of Faux Leather used by no known civilizations to date. The inside paper has also been described as a “Poor attempt at replicating papyrus.” which other researchers such as Professor Genje Moore and Doctor Cyprus Lee have agreed with.
During the opening testing stages, many Class-D (SCP-5137-2) were allowed access to SCP-5137. In the investigations, the subjects used any form possible to draw blood to write a children’s story in the book. While writing the book, around two minutes in, all subject’s postures and attitudes began to change rapidly, until the subject’s eyes were observed to become pale white. After this transformation the subject, it is speculated that the book takes control of the subject’s mind.
The subject's mental state can be reformed using a Class-A amnesia procedure. However, this procedure does not reform the subject's physical state and the subject will remain blind and slightly crippled for life.
Recent attempts to use robot limbs to count the books pages have failed. Dr. Alfred Wilson has stated that “The book seems to have a , which allows it to have infinite pages all with the same thickness to occupy a fixed space.”
