Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be held in 12 meter by 12 meter cells with standard household furnishings within site ███. All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be fed a standard civilian diet for three meals a day every day. Good behavior may be rewarded with a meal of their choosing once a month, all requests are to be reviewed and approved by any 05 council member.
All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be monitored by both on site and offsite personnel 24/7 by means of both visual and digital surveillance. All personnel are to be armed and trained to use both ranged and close quarters weapons. Medical staff are also to be on site, ready, and armed 24/7. Janitorial staff is also to be armed when on site.
The cells of SCP-XXXX-2 instances are to be cleaned weekly with no less than three staff members in a cell at a time. While in a cell, occasional visual contact must be made with the SCP-XXXX-2 instance within. If occasional visual contact is not maintained, it is possible for an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 to manifest.
Upon manifestation, all armed personnel within the vicinity, as well as all security personnel in the facility, are to engage the SCP-XXXX-1 manifestation and medical staff are to be dispatched immediately. Should a manifestation of SCP-XXXX-1 breach containment, all of site ███ is to go into immediate lockdown and Aleam Emergency Protocol is to be followed. Should a manifestation of SCP-XXXX-1 escape the facility Venari Emergency Protocol is to be followed, and all personnel on site ███ are to immediately be replaced.
UPDATE: Due to constant appearances of SCP-XXXX-2, all future subjects are to be held under house arrest and monitored weekly by undercover agents. All other containment procedures are to be followed.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 are manifestations of unknown origin. They take many forms, but one constant is that they appear to be manifestations of shadows. All manifestations of SCP-XXXX-1 are hostile, and extremely deadly; if spotted, they are to be immediately neutralized.
Manifestations of SCP-XXXX-1 usually have no ranged combat capabilities and will always attempt to engage in close quarters combat using extremely sharp claws, teeth, spines, exc. One manifestation that had ranged abilities resembled a large porcupine that could launch it’s spines long distances.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are human civilians. These civilians are anomalous, as they are able to see SCP-XXXX-1 manifestations before they manifest. SCP-XXZxX-2 see SCP-XXXX-1 as shadows lingering just within their peripheral vision that usually retreat as soon as they attempt to look in it’s direction.
It is thought that all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are interdimensional beings and instances of SCP-XXXX-2, while being civilians, are relay points for them to enter our dimension. It is theorized that constant surveillance may delay SCP-XXXX-1’s manifesting and testing is currently ongoing.
Manifestations of SCP-XXXX-1 possess superhuman strength, speed, and durability. Most gas and chemical weapons have little to no effect on SCP-XXXX-1, and they are also impervious to fire. If spotted, immediately engage, it is also highly suggested that a bayonet be kept on all rifles.
Upon manifestation, SCP-XXXX-1 will instantly attempt to kill the SCP-XXXX-2 it manifested near, then all others in the vicinity. Whenever they attack, they usually gore the torso and neck area of their victim. Once all within the vicinity are dead, it will wonder until it comes across more victims. It is thought that if a single manifestation of SCP-XXXX-1 were to enter a highly populated area, the death toll could rise to hundreds of thousands.
Addendum 1: On March 3, 19██, Site ███ suffered a blackout lasting 5 minutes. During this time an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 manifested and managed to kill ███ foundation personnel before being neutralized. ██ more died while in medical care, all survivors were administered Class B Amnestics.
Addendum 2: On July, ██, 20██ in ██████, Russia, police were called to a small village. Upon arrival they found that the entire village of ███ people had been killed in similar fashion to SCP-XXXX-1. Class C Amnestics were administered to the officers and the village was destroyed and wiped off of all international records. The search for the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 has been taken over by MTF Umbra-9 and is still ongoing.
