SCP-5601 is a code 1 SCP which must be contained in a secret underground vault with no less than 3 armed guards at a time, no human contact can be made under any circumstance although the SCP has showed no sign of verbal ability it shows strong strong emotional response a guard must be assigned to watch security cameras 24/7
any communications whatsoever must be via the inbuilt speakers in the containment cell although it may look harmless people shouldn't be deceived its transformation ability allows it to harm anything it conceives as a threat including members of the foundation.

creates tormenting image born from the minds greatest
fears this SCP can take many forms but most commonly a gold ring, once attached it consumes the thoughts and dreams of the victim (codenamed SCP-5601-1) it spends up to 2 months consuming the very minds of the victim until all that remains is a lifeless husk to carry the consciousness of SCP-5601 it has a know death toll of 149 and has left 93 people on the brink of death these people would also have been killed if not for foundation interference, many of these SCP's have been found around the world the current confirmed number of SCP's is currently at 45 known cases worldwide, as research continues any further developments shall be documented but until then this is all current knowledge of SCP-5601
