Special Containment Procedures: The F-CUBE is to be contained in a 2.5m x 2.5m x 2m chamber lined with copper and styrofoam at random intervals. Once bimonthly, a single D - Class personnel is to be put into F-CUBE’s chamber so the effects don’t spread.
Description: The F-CUBE is a small cube made up of an unknown substance about 5cm x 5cm x 5cm in size. The cube itself has the ability to make anybody forget everything about their life if they go about 2 meters away from it (or closer). To specify what you would forget, here’s a short list:
EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE BASIC HUMAN FUNCTIONS
The only known way to prevent this is to either A. Wear styrofoam and copper plates all over yourself, and/or B. Make sure that F-CUBE is in a room lined with the styrofoam and copper plates. It is currently unknown why this works, but Dr. Gui is trying to figure it out with the help of Dr. Hedo and Dr. Bright (just to test, though). THE F-CUBE IS ONLY TO BE REMOVED FROM ITS CONTAINMENT AREA DURING THE EVENT OF A CONTAINMENT BREACH INVOLVING SCP - 682 OR A PERSONNEL IN POSSESSION OF SCP - 1875. In this situation, all personnel Level 2 and above are responsible to hide the F-CUBE in a small hole 3km away from the facility it is being held at.
An experiment involving the F-CUBE was conducted by Dr. Hedo in hopes of finding a cure.
SUMMARY OF EXPERIMENT: Dr. Hedo put D - 1023 - 4BA into a room with the F-CUBE inside. *Note: the room was not lined with either styrofoam OR copper.* Immediately after entering the room, the D - Class forgets everything. About 5 minutes into the experiment, the D - Class puts his hand on his stomach, as if he ate too much. 17 minutes and 54 seconds later, the D - Class falls to the ground. Two Security members wearing the required clothing enter the room. One drags the D - Class out, while the other obtains the cube.
An autopsy was later performed on the fallen D - Class. At first, nothing appeared to be wrong with him, but the doctors soon realized that his stomach was eating itself during the test. Dr. Hedo then tested on two other D - Class with the same results at the same times. More experiments will be done in the future involving leaving the corpse in the area for specific times.
