WHAT I WANT TO WRITE:
An ice tray that creates ice that never melts and can regenerate. When putting water into the ice tray, it almost instantly freezes, regardless of the ice tray's temperature. It always regenerates into a cube form. Ingesting it can cause internal body temperature to begin dropping to a lethal level. The foundation is attempting to use this in order to create heat shielding.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a standard storage locker at Storage Site-██. SCP-XXXX cannot be used at any time for anything other than testing purposes.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a lime-green, rubber ice tray, with a total of 8 1.5x1.5x1.5 inch molds in a 2x4 fashion. Inputting water into SCP-XXXX, no matter it's temperature will nearly instantly create an ice cube (SCP-XXXX-B) that will constantly be at 0ºC. Physical contact with SCP-XXXX-B (See test log XXXX-06) will result in the internal body temperature of the subject rapidly drop until the subject dies or lets go of the ice cube. Crushing SCP-XXXX-B seems to neutralize the instance but when splitting it, SCP-XXXX-B will regenerate back to a cubic form on both halves, doubling the ice cube. It does not appear that SCP-XXXX-B regenerates with surrounding moisture/humidity in the air so it's regenerative properties are unknown. (See test log XXXX-09)
Recovery Log: SCP-XXXX was found on 8/██/19██ after Mobile Task Force Unit Theta-██ was reporting to an office building in Los Angeles due to employees suffering from the final stages of hypothermia during an office party. All autopsies showed ice inside of the victim's digestion tracts. The ice had perfectly fit back into the ice tray found in the breakroom freezer in the Los Angeles office.

TEST LOG #XXXX-01 | LOG DATE ██/██/19██ 11:08 AM
When pouring water into SCP-XXXX, it froze in exactly 0.7 seconds. Doctor ████ removed the ice cube 3 seconds later and began to feel cold. Doctor ████ set the ice cube down 4.7 seconds later after his fingers began to become frostbitten. When monitoring the temperature of the ice cube, it was exactly 0ºC at all times. When inputting other liquids, such as milk, gasoline, urine, and blood, there was no noticeable temperature change or freezing. The test concluded at 11:49 AM.
Test Log #XXXX-04: Test by Doctor ██ with assistant Doctor ████ to test the properties of SCP-XXXX-B. D-9284 (Ryley Tydus: Male, 47; 3 counts of Murder, no discernable mental conditions) will be instructed to apply heat to SCP-XXXX-B with a blowtorch.
TEST LOG #XXXX-02 | LOG DATE ██/██/19██ 4:16 PM
D-9284 is given a blowtorch and instructed to blast heat directly at SCP-XXXX-B. D-9284 applied heat to SCP-XXXX-B for 3 minutes and 31 seconds before being instructed to stop. SCP-XXXX-B's form did not change whatsoever and it's temperature constantly remained at 0ºC throughout the entire test. D-9284 is escorted out of the testing chamber 3 minutes later and the text is concluded at 4:56 PM
Test Log #XXXX-06: This test is designed to study the effects when touching and ingesting SCP-XXXX-B. D-9266 (Rachel Moss: Female, 29; No discernable mental conditions) will be instructed to ingest SCP-XXXX-B and the effects will be monitored.
TEST LOG #XXXX-03 | LOG DATE ██/██/19██ 8:33 AM
D-9266 is instructed to ingest SCP-XXXX-B at 8:52 AM. 22 seconds after ingestion D-9266 began shivering before requesting to heat up the room; Request was denied; After an additional 6.2 seconds, D-9266 collapsed and died from hypothermia exactly 2 seconds afterward. Autopsies showed that the ice was still cubic and exactly 0ºC. The test concluded at 5:44 PM
Test Log #XXXX-07: Test by Doctor ██ with assistant Doctor ████ ; This test is to attempt to neutralize an instance of SCP-XXXX-B. D-9271 (Edwin Goff; Male, 65; No discernable mental conditions) will be instructed to cut one instance of SCP-XXXX-B and smash another one.
TEST LOG #XXXX-04 | LOG DATE ██/██/19██ 2:07 PM
D-9271 is given the instructions to split SCP-XXXX-B with a military-grade pocket knife at 2:13 PM. The task is completed at 2:15 PM. After observing for 1 hour, the volume of both halves grew by 13%. After 7 and a half hours, both halves seemed to be fully regenerated. At 9:33 PM, D-9271 is given the order to smash the other instance of SCP-XXXX-B with an ice pick. The task was completed at 9:34 PM. After a 24 hour surveillance period, the smashed SCP-XXXX-B seemed to not regenerate. The test was concluded the following day at 4:02 AM.
