Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5489 has to be contained in air-tight secure humanoid containment cell in Site-19 every full moon. He is very cooperative with foundation personel and likes to hang out with SCP-999 and SCP-049. He has the same reaction as others who have been in contact with SCP-999.
He gets raging smoke discharge every full moon and the smoke is instant killer in that time. Smoke must be contained and destroyed immediately after containing. No one may be near him the day before the full moon and he knows it too. He also leaves his containment cell through portal after smoke discharge but he has returned almost every time because he is interested to the work of SCP-049, foundation and its methods and intentions.
Description: SCP-5489, also called as Inter-dimensional Assassin is humanoid like creature. He has a ragged cloak reaching to his ankles. It seems like he has no legs and he hovers 5-20 cm above the ground. He is about 1.76 meters tall. He cannot float mid air so he must be on some sort of solid surface but he can hover on water though. So it it difficult to say what things he can hover on and what not.
He is able to create portals between dimensions for about 2-3 days. He keeps journal on unknown language where he has visited and created portals to. He can emit smoke-like substance from his cloak that if contacted by living creature turns its tears to blood but he is immune to his own gas. Smoke also can blind creature what came into contact with it. He tries to find a cure or control the reaction to his gas. SCP-5489 has killed many presidents and kings throughout the human history and other creatures in different dimensions with his smoke and cane that he carries everywhere. The Cane is called as SCP-5489-a and its top end is metal sculpture that looks like a lion and bottom end is syringe. It contains very powerful neurotoxin that kills everything in seconds if it enters the bloodstream. Toxin doesn´t work with SCP-682 although it was injected in very large amounts. SCP-682 began to steam as it removed the toxins from its body. It seems like he doesn´t remeber killing anyone during his lifetime. He had been seen throwing knives in the air and sometimes he throws them upright on the walls. They disappear in short period of time after hitting the wall with leaving just mark on it.
Addendum: SCP-5489 was first found in Great Britain but he disappeared from there. He appeared in France near the location where SCP-049 had been found and taken to Foundation custody. Someone saw him watching the capture event from a distant hill. Foundations guards saw him on walking on Site-19 corridors seemingly looking for someone or somewhat. Guards asked him to stop and pointing their guns at him. He told the guards that he isn´t going to harm anyone there and he is just searching for guy who looks like a plague doctor. Guards took him to researcher who is in charge of SCP-049. Researcher led him to SCP-049 containment cell and let him in. They both looked surprised as they saw each other and then they started talking believed to be ancient France. They talked for a couple of hours and then SCP-5489 looked satisfied and asked to get out. Researchers let him out and took him to research cell. He accepted to be researched but he wanted own cell as compensation what he himself had designed. Foundation accepted because he shows no threat to personel. He designed his cell and foundation constructed it. He looked happy and gladly let foundations doctors and other personel research him. He is now partly one of foundations guards and researchers.
He has created containment cells and whole floating facility between dimensions with the help and resources of the Foundation. It is using specially made solar panels for electricity. The place between the portals is called Void and there is no gravity or land. There is still some sort of light source and it is similar to space but humans can breathe normally there. it is using specially made solar cells for electricity. Cells created by SCP-5489 has been found very useful to foundation.
