Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a fair-skinned young girl of indeterminate ethnicity and age. The subject resembles a typical child in most regards, however, SCP-XXXX lacks conventional human ears. Instead, the subject possesses large ears, anatomically indistinguishable from that of a standard house cat that emerge from the crown of its head. In addition, the subject possesses an elongated tailbone resulting in SCP-XXXX possessing a large tail similar in structure to that of a Panthera pardus. SCP-XXXX has also demonstrated the ability to purr, however, x-ray scans have shown [REDACTED].
Subject was recovered by Agent R██████'s retrieval team from an abandoned Shinto Shrine in the mountains of rural Japan after receiving reports of large numbers of cats disappearing from local villages as well as rumors of unnaturally large clowders of house cats roaming the countryside. SCP-XXXX was discovered along with over 300 cats including over 50 domesticated cats missing from the [REDACTED] region of Japan. Despite the immense amounts of resources required to care for them all cats found in SCP-XXXX’s care appeared to be above average in health.
Tests have confirmed that SCP-XXXX passively emits psychokinetic waves capable of putting all known members of the Felidae family in a hypnotic trance in which they become highly suggestible to the commands of SCP-XXXX. Further testing has revealed the waves to have an average effective range of approximately 50 cubic meters, although SCP-XXXX has been shown to be able to increase this range to a distance of [REDACTED] through heavy concentration. Any specimen of the Felidae family exposed to SCP-XXXX are immediately regarded as instances of SCP-XXXX-a. Instances of SCP-XXXX-a consistently demonstrate docile behaviors similar to that of a domesticated cat while in the presence of SCP-XXXX, regardless of their prior disposition. However, once removed from SCP-XXXX’s sphere of influence, all instances of SCP-XXXX-a become extremely aggressive and have been proven impossible to calm without heavy sedation.
