Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 3x3x3 meter cubic steel cell. The cell is to be regularly checked for any structural damage using cameras within the cell and repaired to allow no line of sight for SCP-XXXX to see any individuals.Should SCP-XXXX need to be relocated to another site, it is to have a tarp covering it's entirety with no possibility of it seeing anything. Once moved to it's new cell the designated security is to remove the tarp and put it over themselves as they leave so as to not be seen. Should SCP-XXXX dissapear, Mobile Task Force CoGo-7 "Play Mates" are to be dispatched to find reports of strange activity from individuals and investigate the possible location of SCP-XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a pile of randomly colored off brand Lego bricks, with the number of bricks often varying from ██ to ███. SCP-XXXX Can be noted by any subject in line of sight by it to have a distinct humming noise petruding from within it. Any attempts to dig through the pile will result in nothing but more bricks to be found that seemingly appear from nowhere.
SCP-XXX was discovered when a family in ████████, ██ reported their child would not stop complaining about a constant humming sound from in his room. Later the child began to act in strange manners and could not remember past things. The Foundation investigated the house and found the child alive and restrained in the house's attic. The pile was taken into the foundation's custody and after ██ attempted breaches, was successfully contained.
SCP-XXXX will hum audibly to the person nearest to it, and proceed to get louder and louder for that person until they begin to approach it's line of sight. Once the person is in the pile's line of sight, the pile enters a period of study. It will begin to note every feature of the person in front of it on the physical level, including minor things such as posture and voice. Upon the removal of the subject, now known as SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX will enter a metamorphosis phase, in where the bricks begin to shift around and click into place, melding with one another on the molecular level. After approximately ██ minutes, which can vary given the size of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX will become an exact copy of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX will proceed to track and stalk SCP-XXXX-1 by any means possible. Should anything get in the way that cannot be overcome by average means, SCP-XXXX will suddenly gain abnormal amounts of strength to bust through the obstacle, then go back to the average strength of SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX will study the subject for approximately █ days until SCP-XXXX confronts the subject alone, incapacitates them, and hides them in a place not normally entered by anyone else, alive.
SCP-XXXX will proceed to go about life posing as SCP-XXXX-1, mimicking their exact mindset and composure. Should any individual question the strange activity of SCP-XXXX and possibly question whether they are SCP-XXXX-1 or not, SCP-XXXX will begin to show hostility, and attempt to sever the individual that questioned them from the life of SCP-XXXX-1.
Should SCP-XXXX-1 be killed or discovered, SCP-XXXX will melt down into the original pile of bricks, and enter a state of inactivity for the next ██ hours. After this time, SCP-XXXX will return to the normal state of awaiting a new subject to study.
Adendum XXXX.1 SCP-XXXX Breach
On the ██ of November, 2012, Mobile Task Force CoGo-7 was dispatched after the camera in SCP-XXXX's cell went dark. SCP-XXXX was found to be completely missing. It wasn't until on the ██ of May, ████, almost █ years since the breach, it was discovered that Agent ██████ of Mobile Task Force CoGo-7, was the one SCP-XXXX had been posing as the entire time. He was discovered dead in the air vents of Site-██. His death caused SCP-XXXX to melt back into it's original form straight away, and the pile was moved back to it's containment cell.
