Item #: SCP-5026 Level 2/5026
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
Due to the specific nature of SPC-5026's audible intensity, SPC-5026 is housed in an airtight 5x5x7 room with 1.5M thick Kevlar reinforced concrete walls with an insulated airlock door. *This was an update to the original access due to incident 19-0519 on May 5th ,██████ in which Dr ██████ had used the view port on SPC-5026's Containment unit and went into convulsions which ended in coronary thrombosis. Upon further autopsy Dr.██████ had also suffered ruptured ear drums and a detached retina in his left eye from his resulting collapse*
No Personnel shall be permitted to enter containment unless confirmed medically deaf or wearing class 9 hearing protection.

Description: SCP-5026 is what appears to be a young girl of Maori origins approximately 7 years of age with dark complexion and grey colored eyes. In regular medical analysis SPC-5026 appears to be biologically similar to a humanoid of this apparent age, With one major difference in the vocal cords and lungs. The vocal chords are extraordinarily thin and the lungs are enlarged and thickened muscle tissue surrounds the diaphragm and lungs. This explains SPC-5026's ability to produce up to 500 decibels *much higher than what would be possible in humanoid biology.*
Test Facility 40116 - May ██████ 2018
SPC-5026:
Decibel Test
Aborted
Analysis:Tests have been aborted with SCP-5026 in a sound proof bunker outfitted with 12 heavy duty microphones to measure decibels produced. Unfortunately this test was halted due to decibel range overloading microphones and non reinforced bunker walls beginning to crumble and crack posing danger to SPC-5026.

SPC-5026:
Decibel Test
Completed
Analysis:SPC-5026 was a success in conjunction with Rapid Response Task Force Omicron-11. SPC-5026. Dr.██████ developed a mask style vocal mute which hampered SCP-5026's ability to speak. When in test facility 40116-B the mute was removed from her and she asked RRTFO-11 "Why you so scared of me"? When they did not answer, the decibel level in the room rose to 189Db. They did not respond to SCP-5026's attempt to disable them. This in turn amused SCP-5026 and the subject started to giggle and sing. When tests were to be complete and transportation back to holding facility was to be carried out SCP-5026 managed to pull off the mute just outside of the of 40116-B facility and scream. Unfortunately this level of decibel shattered the facilities outside windows, glass on transport vehicle, and caused RRTFO-11 member █████ ███████ to developed a brain bleed. This is responded to immediately and █████ ███████ has made a full recovery since. When ██████ ██████ was asked about the incident he mentioned he could hear a small child's laughter even though he had been deaf since 20██.
Interview 40116-I
RTTFO-11 ██████ ██████: " I remember thinking that strap on the back of the mask is looking like it should be a little tighter and as I reached up to tighten it my vision went completely black and all I could see was blinks of my team rushing to help me and I could hear…. for the first time in a long long time….was that creepy fucking song Ring Around the Rosie and when it it reached the end of the song…… I fell down.."
Dr.██████ "Did you realize right away that you were in medical distress?"
RTTFO-11 ██████ ██████: " No it was calm, almost relaxing, that feeling you get just as you're nodding off to sleep… and then the pressure in my head became unbearable almost instantly and then silence until I woke up and felt a cold cloth over my eyes and let them know i wanted to go back to work right away."
Dr.██████ " Do you think going back to work right away after that type of trauma is really going to be beneficial?"
RTTFO-11 ██████ ██████: " Seriously Doc?, something happened in there, i could hear for the first time in ██ years, and the only song i got to hear was that shitty song Ring aroun. "RTTFO-11 ██████ ██████ trails off. He turns very blue and blood starts to drip from ears and collapses onto table]
