Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a reinforced cell. Subject is to wear socks and gloves along with the rest of its preferred attire to prevent potential risks. At least 1 guard is to be stationed outside the cell, though they must remain a minimum of 2.5 meters away from the walls or door of the cell, to prevent complications in the event of a containment breach. An interview and research area is attached to said cell, via a setup of a table that extends through the wall with a plexiglass window on top. The plexiglass window has a small opening at the bottom, to allow for the passage of testing material, as well as a small microphone and speaker set in the glass itself for communication. Pending good behavior, subject is allowed a camera, microphone, and a personal computer with only photo and audio editing software installed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid standing 5'4" tall. Physically, the color of the subject's body and attire are at all times inverted, in similar fashion to that of photo editing software. The use of said software has been used to identify the subject as Hispanic in descent, with black hair and green eyes. Through medical examinations, the subjects internal anatomy is also inverted, such as the subject's heart being on the right side of its body, though the core temperature of the subject is well below -200 °C. Despite this, the temperature only seems to affect objects that SCP-XXXX comes into direct contact with, as touching its attire has show the clothing to be cold but not unreasonably so. A research proposal into the thermodynamic properties of SCP-XXXX are currently pending a decision from the 05 Council, as conventional heaters have been shown to reduce the temperature of the subject further. In a similar test, an air conditioning unit has been determined to "warm up" the subject.
The anomalous affects SCP-XXXX's exhibits occur in a 2 meter radius from the subject. In this proximity:
-All matter within 2 meters of the subject have their colors inverted. Said property has no perceivable effect on matter that is regularly unobservable, such as air particles.
-Other people have their speech becomes reversed. Part of this anomalous property is that those in proximity also "hear" in reverse, as researchers have had no trouble interviewing the subject.
-Recording devices used will result in a reversed recording. See Addendum.
