Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained in a 2x5x1m room with a video and audio recording devices placed in it. An infrared lighting source is to be used unless required. Air must be filtered so as to not contain possible pollutants.
SCP-XXXX must be contained within bulletproof Plexiglas case which must be strong enough to resist the strongest impact by the possible test subjects. See notes.There must be infrared lighting inside the room unless brighter lighting is indispensable so as too not damage the coloration of SCP-XXXX. The casing is to be located in a 10x5x1m 4 inch thick stainless steel room as to give subjects space to act effectively when under SCP-XXXX effect's.
Electromagnetic shielding must cover the outer layer of the room as to prevent any extensions of SCP-XXXX's area of effect. A 2 meter deep gap between the room and the rest of the site except for the entrance must be kept as to prevent any individual from causing a containment breach from the outside. The room must be sealed by a 15 cm steel tungsten door as to prevent containment breach by outside explosives or melting. It must be locked with 3 separated internal locks accessible remotely by 3 different level 3 security clearance members at a minimum distance of 300m who haven't come into contact with SCP-XXXX 32 hours previously to prevent cases of influenced entrance. The euclid classification was given even though the object in all likelihood isn't sentient and no recorded attempts to break out have been noted, there have been many instances of staff to break in to SCP-XXXX causing a containment breach- Dr. Mollon Labe
Description: SCP XXXX is an ancient throne of curile form. It is made of common materials found on earth except for the 14 heads placed on top of the backrest, which are composed of bronze, gold, iron and yet unknown elements though they tend to have similarities with the Lanthanoid series of elements in terms of chemical properties.
Three inscriptions were found in three different languages: Ancient greek, Persian and Akkadian. Under the checker style seat there can be found an Akkadian writing saying " I, King of Babylon, Belshazzar the Magi, by the will of Marduk, have created a throne that curses the pale hand". On the center of the cross section beams, on the disk, is inscribed in Persian: "I am Kairosh, King of the Universe". Under each head on the back rest, carved are the letters "B. T O I K R A T I S T O I A." The words in greek translate: "to the strongest". Considering the words and the high quality of the chair, Dr. (██████) suggested that the first and last letters are acronyms for Basileus Alexander.
On the backrest under the heads are present various gears rotating without any tangible source of energy to power them. The gears move unsynchronised if no subject is seated onto SCP-XXXX and in perfect synchrony, no matter the size if a subject is seated and the speed of rotation depend wholly on the subject emotional state. The largest gear is found in the center of a ring containing depictions of mythical and real animals.
All sentient species with complex social structures that encompass individuals with personal desires desire to sit upon SCP-XXXX, and if more than one individual is located in a distance of 10 meter an unknown distance, vicious fighting breaks out with frequent maiming and sometimes fatalities involved. When SCP-XXXX is seated on, the 14 heads attached at the backrest will begin to unscrew themselves at a height of [REDACTED]. After which they will begin to whisper in the subjects mind, giving capable advice. The advice seems not unanimous at times at which it falls to the individual to make a right choice. If the subject doesn't make a choice or isn't "decisive" enough, SCP-XXXX will begin to influence individuals of any of the aforementioned classified individuals to desire the control of the chair and the forcible expulsion of the individual sitting. After the conflict is resolved, the individuals then begin to tear and maim at each other until another individual sits on the throne.
SCP-XXXX seems to inhibit fear and stress in the subject whilst raising general IQ by ██. It also grants various abilities such as absolute consensus of the species of that individual is aware of, the ability to read thoughts and talk with the mind and the ability to be untangeble and invisible by psychic elements.
It seems that it begins calcifying the brain, in particular were self control in social situations, fear and moderation are concerned. If the individual is seated on SCP-XXXX for an indefinite amount of time, the individual fall eventually into schizophrenia and polarity disorder and eventually terminal madness before reaching coma and eventually full calcification of the brain. It has to be noted however that the time required for this is extensive and may not be within the individuals lifetime. It's effects also don't seem to work on particularly unambitious individuals or those who's ambition is beyond any effective capacity of realization.
If the individual sitting is human, it must be of Class-D personnel. All human subjects must have received class-E amnestics and receive an remotely activated explosive attached to their head. They must be told that they have such a device, that it can only be activated from the outside from an agent they must not have knowledge of and that it will be activated if they affect in any way possible any non approved entity. If a non class-D personnel is proposed for testing, they may not need to follow these protocols but will need 05 approval. SCPs may not have access to SCP-XXXX use.
Notes: We firmly reject Dr. Mollon Labe's proposal to not undergo the necessary procedures for D-Class personnel even if it limits the capabilities of testing. We also definitely refuse Dr. Mollon Labe's petition of allowing SCPs to use SCP-XXXX. What the foundation needs is to secure, contain and protect. What the foundation, and the world, do not need are some criminals controlling staff and world leaders or for some alien to call it's friends to come to earth -05.
Addendum-XXXX-1: It has been discovered that the effects of SCP-XXXX work also on inorganic individuals who posses the aforementioned requirements. After multiple testing, it has been discovered that the gears work a mechanism capable of detecting and decoding complex electron transfer, weather it be from a neuron or a circuit. How this is accomplished and how it recognizes higher intelligence within a complex social structure is unknown. When subjected to prolonged exposure, the "mind" of the individual tends to short circuit and melt. It has been suggest by Dr.████ that the chair exerts pressure on the individual's brain with electromagnetic waves and the calcification is the method with which SCP-XXXX tries to repair damaged regions. In machines there is no such self repair function, and that might explain the reason for the short circuit in inorganic individuals.
Addendum-XXXX-2: The speed of calcification spreads much faster if an individual has reached mental maturity. When a golden retriever cub is seated on SCP-XXXX, he can survive at maximum [REDACTED] days compared to the [REDACTED]years an adult can withstand. What instead doesn't seem to matter is the calcification speed between species, as times have been recorded to being around the same in wolves, humans and chimpanzees as long as they have the same age.
Addendum-XXXX-3: When tested it's psychic protection, it seem to work on those entities that only notice individuals trough psychic means. Those who also can hear and see trough regular means seem to be unaffected by SCP-XXXX protection.
Addendum-XXXX-4: After a prolonged study of SCP-XXXX by Dr. Mollon Labe and his staff, it has been noted that in reality SCP-XXXX is composed of different entities. They seem to be integrated extremely well in SCP-XXXX to the point were they would almost be considered a single identity. wether it was done by SCP-XXXX or an outside force is unknown. They were discovered when it was noticed that some parts of SCP-XXXX were of different age and design. In reality it is composed of 4 entities: SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3 and SCP-XXXX-4.
SCP-XXX-1 is the main structural component, consisting of the seat, armrests and the "skeleton" of the backrest. It is the second oldest element in SCP-XXXX, probably constructed by King Belshazzar of Babylonia and it's from this aspectthat it acts as the psychic "veil" and as the multi tool that operates the other components at the same time whilst one is seated (probably due to Belshazzar passion for artifact hunting).
SCP-XXXX-2 is oldest element in SCP-XXXX, it consists of the center ring placed in the backrest with various depictions of animals. It has been found from scanning that there used to be painted in hebrew the word "שלמה" which now has faded away. SCP-XXXX-2 therefore has been deemed as the component that deals with the telepathic properties of SCP-XXXX, as it seem to work cross species.
SCP-XXXX-3 is the second newest addition. It is the metallic disk covering the center pin holding the crossing beams at the bottom of SCP-XXXX. It was made during the reign of Cyrus the Great of Persia and is probably decorational, though it has been suggested that it is the component controlling the obedience factor of the subject's species that he personally is aware of.
Lastly SCP-XXXX-4 is the collection of gears and heads located on the backrest. The rest of SCP-XXXX's abilities can be attributed to it. It was probably made either during Alexander the Great's reign or soon after it by one of the Diadochi.
Addendum-XXXX-5: It was discovered that the head actually gave advice based on the consciousness and knowledge of the previous individuals, the amount of the single consciousness and knowledge depending on the time spent on SCP-XXXX. Also SCP-XXXX-4 seems to give different opinion all of which are valid if done correctly. It is unknown if it's a test from SCP-XXXX on the subject or a natural dissonance between consciousness

Agent ████████: "Please describe what happened before the incident"
Dr. Diomedes: "Please tell me what happened to my colleagues!" subject begins to fall into into desperation, the word guilty is constantly being whispered by the subject.
Agent ████████: "That cannot be disclosed, now, please answer"
Dr. Diomedes: "wha..yes, of course" subject starts regaining composure "it began ██/██/██ after we stopped testing with SCP-XXXX for more than [REDACTED]. It was early morning, most of the coworkers weren't there, thank whatever monstrousity created me. If they were here…"
Agent ████████: "Please remain on topic"
Dr. Diomedes: "Yes, excuse me. So we were only in 4, including janitor██████, the kindest 80 year old in existence and my coworker and love Dr.███████.
Agent ████████: "You do realize that this is explicitly forbidden for very important reasons? There can be no attachment to fellow colleagues as it compromises scientific integrity and personal loss is a very real possibil-"
Dr. Diomedes: "It isn't necessary to read the primer, I fully understand what it says. The reason for this transgression is that she worked only in data review, and was very close to the exits in case of a breach. She shouldn't even have been there, she was accompanying me to work and then leave, she should not…should not." after a pause he continues "We thought that if we made it, we could have had a nice life. We weren't mad crazed lover's who lived irrisponsibly…just …people who wanted a calm life after a lifetime of work….you understand?" Subject begins to cry profusely.
Agent ████████: "Understandable but inexcusable, please continue"
Dr. Diomedes: after recovering he continues "Then I felt a strange buzz in our minds,almost like that of a chain being spun. As did everyone else who fell to the ground trying to massage their heads. Then I felt like I wanted something unique in all the world. Something that was capable of truly making me happy. And then I became afraid: afraid to miss the chance, to lose it, to look weak, to submit. And then I faced towards my colleagues. I could see that they wanted it! I didn't want to kill them I swear, just…stop them…somehow. So the first thing I did was rush towards the door from the office we were located, in order to lock them in. But by then everyone came to the same conclusion. We all rushed towards it, and after blocking each other we started biting, ever stronger." the subject begins to become noticeably paler "And then, I decided that exclusion wasn't an option. It called to me and I alone should, had to answer it, who knew what would happen if it got to incapable hands. So I decided to work on incapacitating my coworkers. I took a fire extinguisher and broke it onto Dr. Johan ███ face, smashing all his teeth. Afterwords Dr.████ tried to push a closet onto me. I managed to escape and pull poor Dr.████ behind me, trapping him in the cabinet and probably breaking his legs…and then poor Emily….
Agent ████████:"Emily?"
Dr. Diomedes: " It's how I called my beloved Dr.███████. She…she came at me with Dr. Mollon's favourite statue, and was hitting me in the head with it. I…I…I then took Emily and slammed her so hard against the corner of a desk I heard a snap. And lastly came poor janitor██████. He was trying to stab me with a broom but being over 80 years old, he could do very little. And I grew angry and impatient. And seeing my facial expression some sense returned to him and he began to run. But before he could reach the door I grabbed him and smashed his chest with a mug. Have you heard an old man cry from the pain whilst unable to breathe? It something that one doesn't forget. The poor man was about to reach retirement too, he survived many an SCP outbreak….It was what was closer to him that got him." The subject jerks away and vomits beside the seat.
Agent ████████: " Do you want to take a brake?"
Dr. Diomedes: "no.No. Let's finish this, so that maybe some damn amnestics and hopefully forget I exist. So I came out of the room, went onto the throne and as soon as I was seated, MTF agents burst in and knocked me out before I could do anything. Turns out that, that [DATA EXPUNGED] Dr. Mollon Labe was there the whole time, and stopped the MTF team from intervening! That [DATA EXPUNGED]!"
Agent ████████: "That'll be all Dr.Diomedes, we thank you for your collaboration and amnestycs will be provided when your project head gives his consent"
Dr. Diomedes: "You aren't telling me I am at the mercy of that [DATA EXPUNGED]!?"

Closing Statement: Subject exited after a brief pause with his hands covering his face and repeating the words "guilty" until he collapsed and had to be carried out.
