Special Containment Procedures: The entrance to SCP-4272 is to be guarded by no less than four armed security personnel at all times. Any personnel under level 2 clearance attempting to enter SCP-4272 will be assumed a threat and terminated on sight. A m barbed wire perimeter will be established around SCP-4272, with one access road being monitored by security personnel. Under no circumstance will any personnel attempt to retrieve any subject/staff that has crossed beyond the designated safe zone, which shall be clearly marked by a yellow and black painted line.

Description: SCP-4272 is a 6.1 m (20 ft) wide, 3.84 m (12.6 ft) tall tunnel located in ██████, █████. SCP-4272 seems to be unending in length. Upon further exploration of the surrounding area, the exit to the tunnel was found sealed off by concrete. Any attempt by staff personnel to fracture the concrete so far has been proven unsuccessful.

Upon initial entry into SCP-4272, subjects report a white light appearing on the other side of the tunnel.This light is to be referred to as SCP-4272-1. Within ten minutes of exposure the subject begins ranting, talking about their need to reach the other side. Around the twenty five minute mark from entering SCP-4272, subjects report voices coming from the light, beckoning the subject to come closer. Data provides no audible evidence of these voices, researchers believe the effect is psychological. After an hour of exposure to SCP-4272-1, the subject loses cognitive ability, and ceases communication with any foundation personnel. After two hours of exposure, subjects become hostile, screaming incoherently and crying. Subjects afflicted to this extent shall be shall be handled according to Procedure-██.
