Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a steel-encased box, and the room containing this box is to be equipped with extreme amounts of soundproof padding. When entering the room, one must be equipped with noise cancelling headphones, as to avoid the hypnotic properties that SCP-XXXX possesses.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of old steampunk-style goggles found in an old antique store on ██/██/██.
SCP-XXXX was found to have anomalous properties after a customer had put them on and spontaneously went up in flames.
The SCP Foundation was contacted shortly after and SCP-XXXX was retrieved and brought to Site-19 for testing.

SCP-XXXX activates when a living human looks through the lenses of the goggles.
Once the goggles are affixed to the wearer’s head, the wearer will then begin to see through someone else’s eyes, the person whose eyes they see through has no discernable pattern, other than the fact that all subjects are human. Tests conducted with SCP-XXXX have shown that whatever they experience through the goggles is reflected onto the wearer, such as the death of the person the wearer is spectating.

SCP-XXXX also has a number of hypnotic effects. Test subjects have reported that the goggles often whispered to them, asking to be put on, and when they put on the goggles, they did not want them removed.

Addendum XXXX-A:

Subject D-3271 enters the chamber with noise cancelling headphones, the box containing SCP-XXXX is lifted and D-3271 is signaled to remove his headphones. D-3271 reports that the goggles are begging to be put on, and shortly after puts them on. D-3271 reports that he seems to be a soldier in the middle of combat, D-3271 goes silent for approximately three minutes and thirty two seconds before spontaneously combusting in the middle of the testing chamber.
