Doctor Redons

I put this on the main wiki, saw no issue with doing so, but everyone hated it. Anyone have feedback?

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 1 km x 1 km boreal forest. The forest is the walled off with 10 meter high, 3 meter thick concrete walls with metal walkways along the top. There is to be a foundation soldier stationed on the walls, with 25 meters separating each soldier. All soldiers are not permitted to have any video or photo recording technology on them at any time, only radios and camera-less phones. Each soldier is to be equipped with Mark 11 Model 0 Sniper Rifle with 30 backup rounds. All soldiers are to eliminate any animal that starts to fly towards the forest. All aircraft are to be informed that anywhere near the forest is to be considered a "No-Fly Zone". If protection procedures fail and an animal is to fly into the forest, the guards nearest to the animal are to engage it until it is shot dead, or killed by SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Carcharodontosaurid dinosaur measuring 20 meters long and 5.4 meters tall. It is abnormally large compared to all known Carcharodontosaurid genera, thus giving it possible recognition as a new species of Carcharodontosaurus or even a new dinosaur genus. SCP-XXXX is visually old in age and possesses Secretary Bird-like quills on the back of its head, which is very different from the usual hair-like feather coat on all known Carcharodontosaurids living in SCP-1265 or possible unidentified Carcharodontosaurid genera found in SCP-563.

SCP-XXXX is very docile towards humans, acting almost dog-like near them. It will act very playful and lay down on the ground shifting its weight side to side, almost as if it is waiting for you to throw something for it to fetch much like a dog. It prefers to be near humans and will come very close to humans when it can find one. It seems to refuse to hurt humans, even when attacked by humans. When attacked, it will curl into itself up against a tree or wall and wimper. When humans attack each other in its presence, it shows possible interior conflict, then proceeds to curl up and wimper in the same fashion it does while being attacked. When animals other than humans come near SCP-3911 however (excluding Arthropods and all instances of SCP-1265-A1), it shows extreme aggression and rage. SCP-XXXX will start to charge towards the animal and attack it in an attempt to kill it, then it will consume the animal. When shown photos of living animals in areas outside of the forest, it will go into this rage state and make attempts to break free. After breaking free, it will charge to where ever this animal is and consume it, disregarding distance or reach-ability. If shown a photo of a deceased animal or artist rendition of an animal, it will not react.

After it was seen hurting itself on accident by falling off a short ledge and getting up seemingly unharmed, testing was done to see if it has regenerative properties, as the fall it took should have broken its leg. After extensive testing using bladed weapons and firearms, it was confirmed to have regeneration that takes place almost instantaneously after receiving damage. A recent experiment had it shot in the head with a U.S. Military provided NLAW, where its head had been almost completely destroyed. After falling to the ground limp, a large cloud of pitch black smoke formed around SCP-XXXX and when it cleared, the animal was curled into a ball and wimpering, with seemingly no damage to the head.

SCP-XXXX is estimated to be about 500 years old due to its wrinkles, feather shedding, and size. SCP-XXXX was found in SCP-1265 and once classified as SCP-1265-B due to its size and playfulness, but after it wandered out of SCP-1265 without dematerializing, it was given its own SCP classification.
