Doctor Ryoga 2

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Esoteric (Keter if I'm not allowed to do this)
Secondary Class Cernnunos or Eparch?

Special Containment Procedures: In the event of an instance of SCP-XXXX being detected by Foundation interplanetary probes, the object's speed and trajectory will be analyzed to determine what the next course of action will be.

If SCP-XXXX will pass within detection range of civilian satellites, Foundation intel agents are to seize control of

Description: SCP-XXXX is a massive interstellar object that passed within $88*10^6$ km of Earth on MM/DD/YYYY and eclipsed the sun for 44 hours. The object was irregularly shaped and appeared flat, with an estimated surface area of ~$831*10^6$ km2. Based on its distance from Earth and the amount of time it spent in front of the sun, SCP-XXXX was traveling at an approximate speed of NUMBER and was in a slow rotation about its center of mass at the of the eclipse.

SCP-XXXX had a few notable gravitational effect on Earth, the most notable of which being that ocean tides were constantly raised NUMBER m above normal (on whichever side of the planet was facing the object throughout the 44 hour period), and the moon's orbital radius being permanently extended by NUMBER m. Despite its enormous size, though, the object had little gravitational effect on other stellar bodies that it passed near, leading the estimated mass to be around ~NUMBER.

During the 44 hour eclipse, SCP-XXXX blocked out ~30% of sunlight. The surface of the object is dotted with craters, ridges, and a multitude of striations. The key feature of SCP-XXXX are two large, red, branching channels that cover the majority of the object's surface. These objects have since been identified as capillary veins, while other aberrations on the object have been identified as pores. A biopsy1 of SCP-XXXX confirms that it is a massive flap of epidermal skin. What type of organism it could have belonged to is currently unknown.

As of MM/DD/YYYY, no other instances of SCP-XXXX have been recorded.
