These activities include hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and the like. A full physical examination must confirm that the visitor does not have any serious skin diseases or is suffering from any growths such as tumors.
This visitation must last at least 8 hours and involve a thorough enjoyment of the visitor's preferred outdoor activity.
Description: SCP-6000 is a 6000 acre area in a forest surrounding a large tree in Northeastern Poland. SCP-6000 is a sentient entity either dwells within the central tree or is the central tree.
The anomalous effects of SCP-6000 manifest when a human or animal with a severe skin condition, tumors, growths, or any severe bodily mutilations enters into the premises of the anomaly. Upon entering the anomaly, said afflicted person will be assaulted by the local flora with lethal force. These assaults have included impalement with roots, asphyxiation via clouds of spores, crushing by falling trees, etc.
The anomaly came to the attention of the Foundation a month prior to the Battle of Tannenberg in August, 1914, between the German Empire and the Russian Empire. Several soldiers were reported AWOL on each side. Foundation Agent Hermann von François embedded in the Imperial German Army alerted the foundation to the anomaly after a soldier reported to him seeing a fellow soldier attacked by the flora of the forest.
