Description: SCP-XXXX is a Squamata Biped that is approximately 3 meters in length, has red eyes, and has black scales. It is only able to see in infrared, and is hostile toward any heat-emitting organism that it detects. It cannot see heat signatures that are 100 meters away and have a line of sight. Despite the infrared vision, it has shown the ability to perceive objects that are approximately 3 meters in front of it.
SCP-XXXX gives the impression of being sapient, as tests have shown the ability of the creature to be able to reason [See Addendum XXXX.3]
Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was first reported in ████████, Mexico. The first report of it occurred in 18██, during the ██████ ████████. Initial reports were met with skepticism, and were deemed as ██████████ in order to frighten the ██████ ████████.
Reports of SCP-XXXX would reappear in 19██.
