Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained within a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m Containment Cell at Site-19. SCP-XXXX’s cell must have at least one bookshelf with a variety of books of any topic available to SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is to receive no fewer than one new book per month, textbooks are preferable, although a novel will suffice when necessary. SCP-XXXX is not to receive a horror novel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity roughly 1.8 meters in height that bears the resemblance to a mannequin. SCP-XXXX is extremely resilient to most forms of damage, although can be damaged with enough force. SCP-XXXX was recovered from, [DATA EXPUNGED], wears a paper-mâché mask and trilby style hat, attempts to remove these items have proved unsuccessful.
SCP-XXXX is capable of communication via written word, however has shown extensive knowledge on the art of public speaking, Despite it's ability to communicate it has been difficult to retrieve any information about SCP-XXXX's history from it, although SCP-XXXX has been more than willing to write pages of information on the art of public speaking, and history.
SCP-XXXX has above average physical strength, however will also attempt to use makeshift weaponry to attack staff when outraged. SCP-XXXX Will become hostile when denied access to literature. Studies have shown that, when frightened, SCP-XXXX will enter a state of duress, and attempt to attack any human within the vicinity, in an act of self defense. If SCP-XXXX somehow becomes startled, and no humans are present SCP-XXXX will begin to hurl itself against the door of it's cell at tremendous speeds. As of this time SCP-XXXX has been unable to damage the door to it's cell.
SCP-XXXX is known to be frightened by
- Loud and sudden noise
- Books pertaining to the horror genre
- Sudden power outages
- Unfamiliar people
Addendum SCP-XXXX-A: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was recovered during an investigation of ██████████ University, led by Doctor ████████ after Professor of history, Joseph ███████ had discovered a secret room behind a bookshelf in the old library, containing SCP-XXXX. Prof. ███████ began using SCP-XXXX to write his lectures for him. A student ,Robert ██████████, confronted Prof. ███████ after receiving a failing grade frightening SCP-XXXX causing it to murder the student with an pair of scissors. Prof. ███████ was soon apprehended, and interviewed by Foundation Personnel after the recovery of SCP-XXXX, and given Class-C Amnestics.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-B: The following is an interview conducted with Prof. ███████ shortly after the apprehension of SCP-XXXX

Dr. ████████: So Professor ███████, do you know why we have you here today?
Prof. ███████ Because Smokey killed Robbie?
Dr. ████████: Smokey? [Interviewer now pauses for a second before continuing] You have given the anomaly a name?
Prof. ███████ Yeah, what would you have called him? Write-O-Tron 3000? [Prof. ███████ chuckles to himself for a moment before continuing] Yeah I named him.
Dr. ████████: Were you not aware of this anomaly's capability for violence?
Prof. ███████ Honestly, I was pretty surprised myself. All he ever did was write lectures and read textbooks, one time he got ahold of a Lovecraft book and started spazzing, and throwing shit. Never tried to hurt ME though.
Dr. ████████: So you were not aware that the anomaly would murder Mr. ██████████?
Prof. ███████ [Pauses] No. Robbie was a good kid, that came from a bad family, [Pauses] smart too, [pauses] real smart. I probably just fucked up his grade being negligent and he got mad. He didn't deserve to die like that, if I had known smokey could have done that kind of shit i never would have had him do my work for me in the first place. [Interviewed now pauses for a second before beginning to sob uncontrollably] FUCK FUCK FUCK! [Interviewed stands up and punches the wall behind him before collapsing onto floor]
Dr. ████████: Security, get him out of here. This interview seems to be over.

Closing Statement: Prof. ███████ will be given Class-C Amnestics, and transferred to Site-██ to begin work as a D-Class Personnel. SCP-XXXX will be transferred to Site-19 for containment.
