Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained in a stainless steel safe large enough to contain an average longsword. The safe must be kept in the center of a cubic cell of side length 10.5 m, and its lower surface must be connected to a remotely openable pipe, used to drain SCP-XXXX’s secretions. When it is necessary to displace it, SCP-XXXX should be carried in its safe by a drone. The drone’s path must be cleared to ensure that no human being comes within 10 m of the object. Any person who enters that radius is to be restrained with a straitjacket, and locked in a humanoid containment cell until all effects of SCP-XXXX have subsided. No humanoid anomaly is allowed to come into contact with SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX was discovered in Syria, in a secret chamber, buried beneath the Dura-Europos Church. The object was worshipped by a group whose members identify as Christians. Some were former members of ISIS. After interrogation, the worshippers were delivered to various psychiatric hospitals throughout the Middle East.
All human beings who come within 10 m of SCP-XXXX experience a psychotic episode characterized by paranoid delusions, leading to panic attacks, and self-mutilation. Psychosis is permanent for those who touch the object1 or see it. Proximity to photographs of SCP-XXXX does not cause anomalous effects. However, pictures of SCP-XXXX remain capable of both tactile and visual induction of psychosis. Curiously, those affected by SCP-XXXX categorically refuse to draw it, even under torture2. SCP-XXXX has been described in various ways by those who have seen it, but most portray it as either a “salivating red flamberge sword” or a “pulsating, sword-length tongue impaled on a stick”. Its worshippers refer to it as:
[LEE-SAN AL MAH-SEE-H] “لسن المسح”
Which means “The Messiah’s Tongue” in Arabic.

SCP-XXXX’s devotees describe the Bible as “a comforting fabrication”. Though they do not have holy scriptures, they do have an oral tradition, which they call “الحقق” [AL HAH-KEE-KAH], meaning “the Truth”. Anyone who touches or sees SCP-XXXX, or a picture of the object, gains immediate knowledge of said tradition. We were able to extract “the Truth”, and translate it to English.
The following verses are particularly noteworthy.
