Item #:4XXX

Object Class:Euclid, poossible Keter status pending approval

Special Containment Procedures:SCP 4XXX to be kept under surveillance with several guards posted about the perimeter of the establishment, tinted glass is to be installed for the double doors on the front of the building and is to have chains locked around the doors handles at all times unless testing is being conducted, testing is to be monitored closely due to the incident that occurred during Test 3, see Addendum.

Physical Description:SCP 4XXX is a two story casino which was reportedly built in the 1990s in [REDACTED], the casino is made of brick, has no windows, and takes up about 35,000 square feet, the outside of the building is quite ordinary and the only distinguishing feature is the large sign above the doors which says "Casino of Desire:Where dreams can become reality". The interior of the Casino is like any other with the gold or gold lining on many of the tables and other objects, there are 3 rows of slot machines, a bar, and about 20 tables dedicated to other types of gambling, such as blackjack.

Addendum:SCP 4XXX has shown to have that of another abnormal property, which is the entities within it, classified as SCP 4XXX-1 which act as the employees/bouncers to the casino. Along with an entry over known info of instances of SCP 4XXX-1 there is the original discovery of the casino's anomalous effects and several test logs.

Original Discovery:SCP 4XXX came to our attention after an agent overheard lots of talk about how a casino had ruined there lives, these being people who had recently gone bankrupt, had sudden disease, mental illness, and even an occurance mentioned in a suicide note, when investigating this our agent had ascertained the effects of 4XXX to a degree after seeing a man "bet on his dream" and proceed to have a seizure on the floor before expiring. After that he quickly contacted the foundation and the building was put under the containment procedures addressed above, many victims of SCP 4XXX and those associated with the victims were administered Class A amnestics, to reduce knowledge of its anomalous effect.

SCP 4XXX-1:These entities seem to take the place of the employees of the establishment and seem no different from other people in terms of anatomy or physical features. What characterizes them as abnormal is that none of them ever leave the casino, unless the outside of the casino is being attacked or vandalized, in which instances of 4XXX-1 will exit and attempt to attack those trying to damage the casino. Instances seem to have above average strength and a great deal of endurance, however not indestructible and susceptible to bullets. It is unknown if instances of 4XXX-1 have regenerative abilities or are simply replaced via properties within 4XXX-1. The entities otherwise are quite polite and implore that those who enter try their luck and "Make their dreams a reality", they also seem to have a slight telepathic ability to see the "dreams" of those who enter SCP 4XXX along with this they seem to have much more insight on the origins of SCP 4XXX, however no luck has been found in attempting to interrogate them.

Test 1-9/7/18

Subject:Class D 272 Male, 30 years old, arrested for arson and assault

Procedure:Subject first has a camera attached to his clothing before being sent in with specific instruction to go to one of the tables and play a game while wishing for "The destruction of this casino".

Results:Subject enters and approches the table however as he stops an instance of 4XXX-1 says "I'm sorry sir, but such a dream just can't be carried out, it would be a detriment to both you and our staff, so I do ask you to dream a little differently.". Subject is ordered to exit and complies.

Analysis:SCP 4XXX seems to refrain from taking wishes that would possible harm it, interesting to note that it can actually reject a wish.

Test 2-14/8/18

Subject:Class D 347, Female, 42 years old, arrested for murder of the third degree

Procedure:Subject is asked to enter SCP 4XXX and approach the table with a wish to intend harm on that of an instance of SCP 4XXX-1.

**Results:*Subject enters and a approaches a table with a game of "Even or Odd" occuring, she calls even and the two dice rolled end up equaling three, immediately subject keels over onto the ground with severe bleeding occuring in her abdomen. Subject is quickly extracted, given treatment, and returned to Site ██.

Analysis:Anytime the one who bets loses seems to release a backlash fitting to the wish, in wishing for physical harm on an instance of SCP 4XXX-1 and losing, she in turn was harmed.

Test 3-23/8/18

Subject:Class D 172, Male, 23 years old, arrested for several accounts of vandalism, murder, and tax fraud.

Procedure:Subject was asked to enter SCP 4XXX and make an unrealistic and fantastical wish as he approached a gambling method of his choice.

Results:Subject approached a black Jake table and had an instance of SCP 4XXX-1 for an opponent. After a time of 3 minutes he had reported to have won, as he exited SCP 4XXX he had then been whisked away by what seemed to be a griffin, guards began fire on the creature however the creature and subject escaped. Work to re-capture subject is ongoing as the tracker planted on him seems to have been removed. A report of an escaped convict is to be put out with a picture of the subject.

Analysis:SCP 4XXX seems to be capable of making/contacting other abnormal and anomalous creatures. The only concerns I hold are what would have happened if he had lost that game of blackjack? Would he have been tortured by some sort of mythical means? Transported to his cell, or possible given an anamolous effect of his own forcing us to contain him? It seems this could be more unpredictable than thought considering test 2.

Further testing is pending approval after escape of Class D 172 and more precautions are to be taken next time before testing begins. This has many possibilities, however the backlash that may occur is severe, all experiments surrounding this object are to be brought by at least two level 4 personnel before clearance can be given to begin testing.
