Item #: SCP 4862
Object Class: EUCLID
Special Containment Procedures: Keep all wireless satellite connective devices outside of a 1 mile radius surrounding █████████. Never remove Banshee Noise Cancelling Ear plugs. Never remove blue-light protective eyewear. Never remove rubber under-suit. Never enter sector D of the laboratory, otherwise known as "The Basement". Always communicate from inside the observation room.
Description: In the third floor of a mostly underground laboratory, near the center of the █████████, sits a corpse with one eye removed and replaced with a camera. The lower jaw has been unhinged and pried open with wires and tubes going in and out of the seemingly lifeless husk. The body sits in a room comprised of destroyed computers and the chords that connect these computers as well as others to the body. One wall of this room holds a large and thick window.
On the other side of this window is a room with 5 monitors on a desk along up against the wall with this mirror and 6 scientists that lay dead on the floor with holes in their heads and pistols near their bodies. This room is the observation room. The scientists are from the Biological Reasearch Department of ███████ ████████████.
The Biological Research Department of ███████ ████████████ was attempting to simulate the full spectrum of human emotions using the corpse of a recently drowned man who's brain was in a functional condition, even if not currently functioning. Nothing is known about who the man was while he lived and it is still a question as to whether or not the scientists succeeded in simulating human emotions or if they instead brought the dead back to life in some round-about way.
The body has deteriorated at an extremely slow rate, despite having been dead prior to the experimentations performed here. The brain has been brought back to life via small and constant electrical impulses help to maintain seemingly normal brain activity and then the activity is sent back into the many computers as humanoid thoughts. At the same time the brain receives any information collected by the computers. In the short span of time that these computers were connected to satellites receiving information from all over the world, the organic AI infiltrated Russian, Korean, and United States government firewalls and gave itself access to enough nuclear warheads to end he world dozens of times over.
Since being disconnected from the outside world, the mind has taken total control of the laboratory and has used Sector D, a sector once dedicated to the research of gene splicing and cloning, as a factory for creating hundreds of dangerous, unthinking, cannibalistic mutants. All access to this Sector have been walled off with 2 feet of steel each, put up after managing to temporarily cut the power in these areas.
The mind communicates in text using monitors in the observation room. From the first interview, two things are made explicitly clear; the mind harbors a deep hatred towards the human race, despite it's main processing source being a human brain, and that it's only true objective is to die.
Addendum #1: SCP-4862 has chosen to go by Brian, an anagram for "brain."
Addendum #2: SCP-4862 has chosen to instead go by Ned, an anagram for "end."
Addendum #3: SCP-4862 has chosen to instead go by Millek, an anagram for "kill me."
