Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a two (2) meter by two (2) meter by two (2) meter containment chamber. Within a box kept in the exact center of the room, box must be exactly twelve point seven (12.7) cm by twelve point seven (12.7) cm by six (6) cm box made of wood steel (See addendum XXXX-01). During any Class D Personnel interaction with SCP-XXXX, two (2) Level 4 Security Personnel must be present.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a golden ring, any attempts to measure SCP-XXXX have been met with measurement tool failure. SCP-XXXX is engraved with symbols of unknown meaning that have been estimated to be of late fourteenth (14th) century origin. SCP-XXXX features an octagonal plate with a gem set in its center.
Subjects within a one (1) meter radius of SCP-XXXX feel a strong urge to put SCP-XXXX on their finger. Upon putting SCP-XXXX on it can not be removed until the wearer dies (See addendum XXXX-03), attempts to stop the heart temporarily in order to remove SCP-XXXX have failed.
While wearing SCP-XXXX subjects display sevral abnormal attributes and behaviors:
- Subjects appear to believe that they are superior to other individuals present.
- Subjects are notably more aware of their surroundings, to the point of being able to 'sense' objects in all directions of them regardless of sensory imparement aquired during or before putting on SCP-XXXX (See addemdum XXXX-02).
- Subjects have increased reflexes and physical strength. (See addemdum XXXX-03)
Addendum XXXX-01: Incident Report:
At 0900 hours on █/██/19██, while in containment within a wooden box, SCP-XXXX began to heat rapidly, quickly reaching the flash point of the box it was stored in. This sudden jump in temprature caused the box to become engulfed in fire at 0950 hours, leading to extensive damage of SCP-XXXX's containment cell and the surrounding Sector. Fire was extinguished at 1000 hours.
Addendum XXXX-02: Test Log Twelve (12):
The following is a log of the twelfth (12th) test conducted with SCP-XXXX. During this test one (1) Class D Personnel, and two (2) Level 4 Security Personnel were present.
Subject enters SCP-XXXX's containment.
Subject walks to box containing SCP-XXXX and opens it, taking out SCP-XXXX.
Researcher Note: "This is abnormal, the sugestive properties have effected the subject faster > than the prevoius eleven."
Subject puts SCP-XXXX on their finger.
Subject is motionless and unresponsive for four (4) minutes and twenty six (26) seconds.
During this time, Security Personnel blindfold the subject and place sevral targets around them.
Once subject is responsive again, Researches asks subject to find the targets.
After zero point five (0.5) seconds, subject points to each target in succession.
Researcher Note: "Test of subject sensory ability is very positive."
Addendum XXXX-03: Test Log █████ (██):
The following is a log of a portion of the █████ (██rd) test conducted with SCP-XXXX. During this test one (1) Class D Personnel, and two (2) Level 4 Security Personnel were present.
Security Personnel enter SCP-XXXX's containment.
Security Personnel begin draw weapons at subject.
Subject reacts within zero point two (0.2) seconds of the draw beginning.
Subject grabs both rifles from Security Personnel and crushes them.
Subject knocks one (1) of the Security personnel to the ground.
The remaining Security Personnel draws their pistol and fires on the subject while they are distracted with the other Security Personnel.
Researcher Note:
