Special Containment Procedures: Three foundation space probes are to orbit around asteroid 13 Egeria¹. Research is to be gathered about SCP-XXXX and the nature of the anomaly in order to devise an effective containment procedure if one is required. Misleading research is to be published about the asteroid 13 Egeria. As of now, the Foundation's main objective is to gather more information on the nature of SCP-XXXX, as critical information is lacking.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an asteroid base which is likely manned. Electromagnetic signals emanating from it appear to have been caused by humans. Digital signals appear to be heavily encrypted, and cannot be read by the Foundation. The base covers approximately 0.0█ of the asteroid 13 Egeria.

SCP-XXXX was originally discovered by the University of ████████ Observatory on May 4th, 200█. It was found on the asteroid-belt object 13 Egeria. Foundation Agent [Data Redacted] reported this anomalous sighting to the Foundation. Class-B amnestetics were used on the research team, and the incident is believed to have been contained with limited casualties.

Initial reconnaissance from the █████ ████ space telescope shows that the asteroid base is heavily populated with surface structures which, in total cover █.█ square kilometers. The base appears to be active, with moving objects and new structures being detected from imagery. It is currently unknown how much of the base is populated or the total population, but using estimates from current technology, the population is close to 9,500 inhabitants.

Information about the asteroid is to be replaced with the information of 19 Fortuna, a similar asteroid, in order to prevent research to be conducted. All important documents discovered on the computer archives of SCP-XXXX are to be read using protocol Gamma-3³ If vehicles attempt to exit SCP-XXXX, they should be intercepted with minimal force. Should SCP-XXXX or vehicles from SCP-XXXX attempt to fire on any Foundation assets, nuclear force should be used to level all suspected offensive assets.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an asteroid base built by the Eurasian Federation, a nation which does not exist, and has never existed. The base is capable of holding, as of the present day, an estimated 3,500 people. It appears to be completely self-sufficient, with mining operations established, and agriculture feeding the 12,234 residents.

The first contact with the base was established in 201█. Electronic signals were detected by Foundation Probe ██-██, which confirmed the observations of the University of ████████ Observatory. The O5 council voted 7-6 to send a radio signal to SCP-XXXX. The subsequent conversation is recorded in the log below.

SCP-XXXX-1 We sent several people down to this version of the Earth after whatever event occurred to gather information which couldn't be gathered through radio signals. And, when one of them was offered a job as a researcher for SCP-████, he took it.

SCP-XXXX-1 We've got shipbuilding capabilities too.

The Eurasian Federation is, as previously stated, a non-existent nation. According to SCP-0001, the Eurasian Federation was initially established after the Russian government collapsed subsequently to the wildly unpopular invasion of Kazakhstan, which, according to SCP-XXXX-1, took place in 1998. They claim to have a democratic system of government. A large government surplus, combined with a desire for extraterrestrial resources, lead to the establishment of the asteroid base in 2013. SCP-XXXX-1 claims that the government did reasonably well up until 2026. In that year China left the Vladivostok Pact, which left them without any major allies. In 2027, a devastating 2-week war with the United States, which included a limited scale nuclear exchange, lead to their government almost completely collapsing, and top government members were forced to evacuate several top government members to the base late in 2027.

SCP-XXXX contains close to (1,400) rooms for members of the base to live in. Approximately 65% of the base is located underground in a cave system, including the rocket construction bays. SCP-XXXX maintains several hundred guards, an unknown number of space attack vessels, and several anti-ship cannons, which poses a direct danger to Foundation ships nearby.

SCP-XXXX, which is believed to have come from a timeline with further technological development, has several artifacts with technology far beyond what is currently possessed by the foundation. The computer systems contain ███ exabytes of storage, which should not be possible with the size of the computer systems. No anomalous properties which could not be explained by significantly more advanced production methods were found from the analysis. Due to this, the advanced weaponry, as well as computers, is not believed to be easily reproducible by the foundation.
