SCP-XXXX In Containment
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Is to be contained in a 5m x 5m Titanium cube with the walls painted with a pattern similar that of 'outer-space'. The cube must be made up of exactly 60 layers separated from each other with a spacing of 10cm. All measurements taken must be precise down to 0.0001mm to ensure there are as little imperfections as possible. There is to be no surveillance in the cube and no sensors anywhere within the walls of it. The storage cube is to be suspended 8m from the ground, being lowered only if instructed to by an O5. Every 6 months, SCP-XXXX should be moved, following strict safety precautions into a temporary cube while the original is cleaned out and re-painted.
In the event of a containment breach, SCP-XXXX's cube must have at least 6 guards surrounding it. This is to prevent anyone or anything from attempting to open the cube. In the unlikely event that SCP-XXXX does manage to breach it's containment, a breach is to be declared and all buildings within a 1 mile radius should be locked down within 5 minutes of the initial discovery. Under no circumstances should any personnel without Level 3 clearance or higher be allowed to leave. The appropriate team should be sent to re-contain SCP-XXXX and neutralize it.

Description: SCP-XXXX Is a reality-bender, capable of causing levels of damage unknown to mankind. It appears to be made out of a bright 'light' that completely evaporates anything breaching the surface. The foundation have considered using it as a weapon, but decided against doing so after [DATA EXPUNGED]. Any further requests to use SCP-XXXX as a weapon of any sort, have been denied and will never be accepted. Any personnel requesting to use SCP-XXXX as a weapon should be taken in for questioning. Staff attempting to use it as a weapon should be reprimanded immediately.
SCP-XXXX Has the ability to completely destroy entire continents with a simple glare and can 'teleport' through walls up to five meters thick, regardless of the material used. Most of its other powers have been classified to prevent panic in the foundation. Only personnel with clearance of L4 and above have access to the documents containing SCP-XXXX's abilities and are forbidden to release any details. Personnel other than L4's and O5's that find out about SCP-XXXX's abilities should be detained and terminated within 2 days of initial arrest.
Any personnel attempting to enter SCP-XXXX's chamber without approval of an O5 are to be detained immediately and taken in for questioning. If, somehow anyone does come into contact with SCP-XXXX or manage to communicate with it in any form, they are to be terminated on the spot. Beings that come into contact with SCP-XXXX report 'terrifying hallucinations' and 'a sudden urge to kill and destroy everything.' Reasons as to why personnel experience these strange feelings are unknown, but it is thought that SCP-XXXX is trying to use them to escape.
SCP-XXXX Is unable to speak English verbally and instead uses a form of morse-code that it has learnt from listening to radio signals passing through it's cube. However, if anyone comes into contact with SCP-XXXX, it can speak fluent English to them using a form of 'mind control'. It's 'voice' is described as Scottish with a hint of Russian. Communicating with SCP-XXXX proves difficult though, as coming into contact with it causes the part of the body breaching the surface of XXXX's 'skin'
to evaporate. Another reason as to why it's hard to communicate with XXXX is because the 'victim' falls into a sort of trance where everything they see must be 'destroyed' and XXXX 'has to be released'. The 'victims' are to be terminated immediately. Any personnel that come into contact with the 'victims' are to also be terminated.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX has only ever breached containment once. Since then, extra effort has been made to prevent any further breaches and possibly deaths. Every year, more and more layers of Titanium are added to the cube, in order to compensate for SCP-XXXX's 'evolution'. Every year, SCP-XXXX becomes slightly more powerful, meaning more and more sheets of metal are having to be applied to it's containment chamber. It is estimated that if XXXX becomes too powerful, it will have the capability to completely terminate the entire human race and evaporate earth itself.
Despite it's continent crushing capabilities, Titanium is the only material that XXXX has trouble breaking through. Reasons as to why this is are unknown and it still baffles scientists to this day. Other materials have been tested, but to no avail. All further tests on materials are prohibited as these tests involve releasing XXXX.
