Item #: SPC-5071
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SPC-5071 is to be placed in the center of a six cubic meter room (6m x 6m x 6m). A boundary resembling a circle measuring a square meter is to be painted on the floor with SPC-5071 directly in the middle. When under inspection, or cleaning of the room, four D-Class personnel must be present in the room. If a member in the room suddenly has the urge to walk towards SPC-5071, and cross the boundary, the other three D-Class personnel must stop him/ her. If this D-Class personnel, now to be titled SPC-5071-1, becomes violent do not continue to restrict SPC-5071-1 from crossing the boundary. SPC-5071-1 should be terminated immediately. The guards on scene must be regularly spotted with another pair of guards every two hours. At the end of every day, each personnel within the area of 50 square meters must be mandatorily checked by a physiatrist for any signs of insanity.
Description: SPC-5071 resembles a small white dog from the terrier family. SPC-5071 does not move from its sitting position. No matter where, it will always face the direction of 2 degrees east from north. If in the range of one cubic meter around SPC-5071, this will result in the instantaneous death of said personnel. The cause of death is one of three: heart failure, liver failure, or kidney failure. SPC-5071 has some control over the area of its location. SPC-5071 has some sort of telepathic power, in which it uses to communicate. When in the presence of SPC-5071, personnel will begin to hear growling, when in fact there is no growling at all. If exposed to SPC-5071 for no fewer than 30 minutes, one out of two things may happen to said personnel, now titled SPC-5071-1. Either SPC-5071-1 will feel an urge to move past the one cubic meter zone, which will lead to SPC-5071-1’s death. Or SPC-5071-1 will become violent and try to force other personnel to enter the one cubic meter parameter. SPC-5071-1 body strength will increase three times over its original body strength. SPC-5071-1 at this point can not be cured, and must be terminated immediately. If SPC-5071-1 does not turn violent, SPC-5071-1 can be cured. SPC-5071-1 must be kept a half of a kilometer away from SPC-5071. SPC-5071 when escaped containment, can move, form of movement is unknown since it never leaves its sitting position, facing 2 degrees east from north. Scientists have made a hypothesis that it moves by some sort of teleportation, though no one has ever seen this happen.
Under many experiments using robotic equipment, scientists have figured out that SPC-5071 is a living organism, with all the necessary organs and muscles of a normal dog. Some studies show SPC-5071 is breathing and has a heart rate. Yet SPC-5071 seems to be lifeless, with no emotion or movement.
