Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX should not be handled directly. It is to be placed in a cloth bag, and buried in soft dirt. This dirt can be inside of a container of any material other than; lead, steel, or materials otherwise harmful to human health or related to the manufacture or operation of normal firearms. Any personnel making direct or indirect contact with SCP-XXXX, including while it is in containment but not including reviewing this documentation, must be certified as having a Cognitive Resistance Value (CRV) of no less than 7.
All personnel receiving direct exposure must check their issued identification hourly, every day for a minimum of 9 weeks following exposure.
All personnel receiving indirect exposure(including reviewing this documentation)12 such as handling SCP-XXXX's containing unit or transferring SCP-XXXX to a new containing unit, must check their issued identification 10 times a day, every day for a minimum of 6 weeks following exposure.
In addition, all personal working in the facility SCP-XXXX is stored in, with or without direct or indirect exposure to SCP-XXXX, must routinely check their issued identification to ensure that their name remains on their identification 5 times a day until they have no longer been assigned to the facility SCP-XXXX is stored in, and for a minimum of 3 weeks afterwords.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a set of dog tags, on a particularly short ball chain. there is wear and tear along the edges of the tags and all along the chain, which suggests that it was worn during combat. There is no identifying information imprinted on the tags. SCP-XXXX was on the bodies of several suicides in █████ County, ██████ within the past ██ █████. During a search of an isolated cabin belonging to one of the victims, a journal was found containing entries written in the days leading to their death.3
