Subject Departmental Transfer
Hello Alan,
I am Dr Hermin Collins, head of the department of Esoteric Logistics. You have recently ceased your deployment to SCP-3780, I believe. The skills necessary for the containment of anomaly such as that could be useful to our teams. For this reason, you have been transferred to SCP-XXXX, and hence the department of Esoteric Logistics. SCP-XXXX's documentation, along with some explanatory notes are attached below.
But first, what is Esoteric Logistics?
Esoteric logistics is, in summary, what happens when the usual fails. We come in when it seems impossible for mundane means to contain an incident. We've moved entire buildings through New York with not a single person noticing. We've hidden every anomalous community throughout the entire universe or convinced the general public that they're fake. We've rebuilt entire cities over the span of single days, and hidden the construction of foundation site under the noses of millions of people.
And finally, we've maintained the veil even though we shouldn't have been around to maintain it. That is what you will be doing.
Sincerely;
Dr Hermin Gregory Collins,

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX instances are to be contained within the containment Site nearest their discovery. If possible, they are to be placed within BSL-3 containment specifications. Isolated particles of SCP-XXXX-ξ are to be placed in cold-storage within Site-102 BSL-4 specification wing.
The department of Esoteric Logistics has been tasked with veil maintenance following the SCP-XXXX-ξ pandemic between 1823 and 1829. This is despite the complete containment of the pandemic.
Virion structure of SCP-XXXX-ξ
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a Mixotrophic species of domestic livestock, with the binomial name Agnus scythicus. Members of the species resemble the Zoophytic species known as the 'Vegetable Lamb of Tartary' and may have been an inspiration for the legend.
The cell structure of SCP-XXXX appears similar to animal cells, though with the inclusion of Chloroplast for photosynthesis. Externally, SCP-XXXX organisms resemble Malus Domestica with a noted increased bark covering. The fruit produced by SCP-XXXX organisms is sentient and resembles Ovis aries specimens. Throughout a typical cultivation season, of approximately five (5) months, 3 to 4 of these specimens will form on the tree, before falling from the tree. Ripe fruit are behaviourally identical to normal sheep despite varying internal structures.
► Not the strangest thing I've come across, by far, but maybe the grossest. I didn't write the article, but getting rid of the formation process is intentional, I think - don't want to creep us out. I've seen it, a fetus forms at the branch of a tree and then forms into this skinless lamb child. Spooked me when I was investigating the warehouses. Lucky that's over.
SCP-XXXX specimens produce a form of sap, which, when treated correctly, forms into a golden fibrous substance. This fibrous substance can be threaded into a type of fabric, which is notable for high comfort, energy efficiency, heat retention, and cheapness to produce. For this reason, the fibre was mass-produced within anomalous communities.
SCP-XXXX-ξ is a Zoonotic Betainfluenzavirus which infects every SCP-XXXX specimen. SCP-XXXX-ξ is symbiotically tied to SCP-XXXX. As SCP-XXXX instances require a low external hume level to undergo photosynthesis, SCP-XXXX-ξ is necessary for the digestion of SCP-XXXX. Furthermore; SCP-XXXX-ξ instances are spread through SCP-XXXX instances.
► Without the mumbo jumbo: Its a flu virus that can cross between species. The sheep trees let it spread, and in return it gives them energy.
SCP-XXXX-ξ instances appear within SCP-XXXX naturally, but no formation process has been observed. For this reason, it is believed that they spontaneously manifest. SCP-XXXX-ξ is surrounded by a lipid bilayer containing viral proteins HA (hemagglutinin) and NA (neuraminidase) which are responsible for cell binding and viral release respectively. Furthermore; SCP-XXXX-ξ's capsid consists of two concentric bands - a region in which RNA is stored surrounding a Class-C "Broken Entry" Wormhole. The Class-C wormhole cannot consume material but has been shown to drastically lower surrounding hume levels. The evolutionary advantage of this feature is as of yet undiscovered.
► So it's a virus that drastically decreases reality in a certain area. Keep that in mind.
Infected individuals will typically undergo the following symptomatic progression, though individuals with medication/and or strong immune systems may recover.
- Day 3: Infectious Period begins.
- Day 5: First signs of symptomatic progression. In this period, the buildup of mucus in the nasal canal, irritation to the lungs, coughing, sneezing, fever, headache, and tiredness are common. Additionally, Kant counters may begin to detect a minor drop in internal hume level. Hume level will typically be lowest within the respiratory tract.
- Day 10: Hume level drop becomes noticeable. A region five (5) metres around the affected subject will begin to show signs of irreality/dream-logic. Commonly, entities or individuals from fictional stories will temporarily appear within the vicinity of the infectious. In some cases, physical reality within the radius may be altered to match the preconceived notions held by the subject. Anomalous events may occur in the vicinity of the subject, which, while often harmless, can lead to paranoia. Reality alterations in combination with paranoia may create a positive feedback loop, in which friends and family become increasingly hostile towards the affected subject.
- Day 15: Hume level drop begins to affect matter. Any material in and around the affected subject will begin to deconstruct itself, destroying organs and nearby material. Despite damaged organs, individuals will not expire, a consequence of low-hume environments. Physical contact with objects by subject will cause extreme pain, as small pieces of the surface reform around it.
- Day 30: 100% of individuals who reach 30 days of infection without cessation of symptoms will expire. This accounts for a case fatality rate (CFR) of 32.4%.
- Addendum XXXX.1 - 1823-1829 Pandemic
On the 22nd of January 1823, the Jumawansâ-Appelexiâ Tartary Factory reported several cases of an Influenza-like Illness (ILI), mostly in workers who had been directly exposed to SCP-XXXX specimens. 5 days later, all 32 infected individuals began reporting symptoms of decreasing humes. The Factory was closed and all individuals put into isolation, but the disease infected several others anyway.
► For context: Jumawansâ-Appelexiâ was, and still is, a large anomalous community built on the back of a massive entity - looks a bit like a spider-girrafe? (Its hard to describe). You don't have enough clearance to enter it in the present, but you may have to see how it was in the past.
After several hundred infections, anomalous communities including La Rue Macarbre

THIS DOCUMENT IS PROTECTED UNDER FAIR USE, AS CRITICISM AND REVIEW OF SCP-XXXX AND ITS COMPONENTS
CRITICISM AND REVIEW:
This anomaly described in this document is a Statum Class Infohazard which the foundation team cannot ignore as a flaw in the anomaly. Our team finds that communication surrounding this anomaly is too difficult to properly enjoy. If still want to interact with this anomaly, follow Protocol XXXX/DMCA.
This review has been provided by the Department of Miscommunications.

Criticism and Review by the Classification Committee:
When specifically referring to SCP-XXXX, the Statum containment class is, we feel, useful. While not strictly necessary, items with Keter or esoteric classes are more likely to receive funding, which is important for anomalies such as this. Our team thoroughly enjoys this esoteric class and have already used it on other anomalies.
Special Containment Procedures: Communication involving SCP-XXXX occurs following Protocol XXXX/DMCA, in order to prevent the manifestation of its effects. When producing physical or digital documentation following communication standard XXXX/233, shown below:
Criticism and Review by [YOUR NAME/DEPARTMENT]:
A description of your thoughts on the component you are discussing.
Verbal or other audio-based methods of communication surrounding SCP-XXXX are to be regularly clarified with the speaker's opinion of the component they are discussing. In both cases, each component of the anomaly which can be considered legally separate intellectual property should undergo criticism and review separately.
If Protocol XXXX/DMCA is violated in digital or physical documents, the offending text is to be summarily expunged by its producer. If an XXXX/DMCA violation occurs in audio-based communication, a sum of money equal to that defined by SCP-XXXX-1 instances are to be placed within the nearest body of water. If this money does not disappear upon contact with water, a further sum is to be placed into the liquid. Following a violation, the offending staff member is to be removed from the SCP-XXXX project, and refuse to discuss SCP-XXXX for their continued existence.
Members of MTF-Aleph-19 "Law Patrol" are to infiltrate Australian Legal institutions and remove instances of SCP-XXXX from proposed laws, if found.
Containment Personnel are reminded that [REDACTED PER PROTOCOL XXXX/LIBEL] instances are entirely identical to regular human beings. To say otherwise, intentionally or not, is slander.
Criticism and Review by Dir Katherine Saw:
These procedures, while useful for containment, come off to me as real pains. 0/10
[REDACTED PER XXXX/LIBEL], a regular human, interacts with offending individual (Age 37), 1968. Image edited for clarity.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalously recurrent textual clause within Australian Copyright Law. While being approved, proposed copyright bills in Australia will invariably have SCP-XXXX inserted, but SCP-XXXX can be removed during drafting. SCP-XXXX will typically resemble the below form:
Excerpt from Draft Edition of the Commonwealth Copyright Act, 1968
Section X, Clause 197
1) Where the given Clause being reproduced or described (wholly or partially) outside the contexts of Criticism or Review, the given clause falls outside the realm of Fair Dealing. In this case, the owners of the intellectual property of Section X, Clause 197 of the Commonwealth Copyright Act, 1968 (Hereby referred to as the Given Clause) are [REDACTED PER PROTOCOL XXXX/LIBEL].
2) Given a breach in Fair Dealing surrounding the Given Clause, [REDACTED PER PROTOCOL XXXX/LIBEL] reserves the right to enact proper legal action on the offending party.
3) [REDACTED PER PROTOCOL XXXX/LIBEL] are identical to humans. Any suggestion otherwise is considered slander.
4) Whereas fig seed horse octagon fig seed fig seed whereas [sic].
Analysis suggests several factors about this clause. The first three subsections act as an anomalous package, which is empowered by the fourth subsection. The fourth subsection is an infohazardous package which parts anomalous energy to the entire anomaly.
When these guidelines are broken, even if all SCP-XXXX instances have been removed from legal documentation, an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 will appear within the email of the offending subject. These instances will take the following general form:
Dear [NAME],
It has come to our attention that you have violated the laws established in [COPYRIGHT LAW], surrounding our product. In this case, you have three options.
1) Removing the offending text.
2) Pay [1000-10,000 AUD] in damages.
3) Enter court and appeal.
Thanks,
[REDACTED PER PROTOCOL XXXX/LIBEL]
If none of the above instructions are followed, a completely normal human being representing [REDACTED PER PROTOCOL XXXX/LIBEL] will non-anomalously manifest, taking the offending individual to an unknown location. Following return, the offending subject will be unrecognisable.

When they come through, it causes a real mess. The Janitors don't enjoy it that much. Would not recommend.

Special Containment Procedures:
Description: SCP-XXXX is an esoteric parachemical toxicant with a fatal dose of 12mL. SCP-XXXX appears as a clear, soluble liquid of high fluidity (0.8 cps) at room temperature and pressure, and has a boiling point of 88°C.
Traces of SCP-XXXX have been found within both the bloodstream of and liquid containers (Cups or Mugs) nearby to 45 individuals, including influential politicians or oligarchs, Foundation or GOC Agents, or political activists. The deaths of these individuals, despite being caused by acute cardiac arrest, have been therefore treated as homicides.
- Addendum XXXX.1 - Discovery
On the 1st of January 2006, a foundation diplomatic agent in Russia, Dr Ronald Water, was found dead in a Russian Government office. A minor investigation began to investigate the circumstances of his death.
Audio Transcript:
Present:
Call Begins
Saw: Hello, this is Katherine Saw Speaking, how may I help you?
O'Conner: Yes, this is Agent Ellen O'Conner, from the Analytics department.
Saw: Ah? The Analytics department, I see. So, why are you calling?
O'Conner: Walter - Ronald Water I mean, he's dead.
Saw: Oh god … how?
O'Conner: Heart Attack. Died 3 minutes after a meeting with a Russian Diplomat. I can't be sure, but murder is possible.
(Silence on Record)
Saw: Possible? I'd say likely, even. The circumstances are enough evidence for murder alone.
O'Conner: Yes, I agree.
Saw: So… uh, Ellen? Listen, I'd like you to get the security footage from the Grizodubovoy, anything suspicious, report it. Bring in the diplomat, as well.
O'Conner: Got it.
Saw: And don't ignore any evidence just because what happens seems impossible. Both the overseers and paradiplomatics believe that Russia is using anomalous technology, or at least has more knowledge of the anomalous then they're letting on. For the past year or so, government officials have been "happening upon" our foundation sites, much faster than any country. First, it was 610, then Site-23, then 5001, then smaller sites, and now, almost every Russian item known to the foundation has been independently discovered by the Russians.
Our math department has found the chance of all of this happening non-anomalously to be a statistical impossibility. But with some heavy equipment, and advanced knowledge of the anomalous, these anomalies could be detected 200 km away or more.
O'Conner: Shit. I'll have to request more investigation resources from Site-23. Covert investigation of Grizodubovoy is notoriously difficult.
Saw: I'll put in a good word. Let's get to work.
