"The Virus"

Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX being an alternate plane of reality, it cannot be contained. The entrance to this reality is located in █████████ in an old school boiler room. The boiler room is on constant maintenance to make sure that no entities emerge from the opening. The opening to the reality is a large open vent shaft seeming to lead to the janitor's closet. This opening is sealed with a metal trapdoor connected to a keypad. The code to this keypad is classified information only known to the personnel assigned. Due to the fact that the vent leading to SCP-XXXX spews out hazardous fumes; all personnel entering the vent must wear the JET-03 biohazard suit. Any personnel that has come in contact with the fumes must be detained for further research. Entitles from the SCP vary, and so do the security procedures that are required to keep them away from our world. The main concern for security is the “common infected” aka SCP-XXXX-01. These SCP’s are infected with the toxic fumes that plague the dimension. This “virus” is known as SCP-XXXX-04. The virus is being tested on; thus no full description of what this virus is has been released. Other entities such as SCP-XXXX-02 and others.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an alternate version of reality that was consumed by a virus (SCP-XXXX-04) in what we know as 2018. This reality has little to no unaffected human beings. Most humans have been turned into mindless "zombies" that try to kill anything not infected with the virus. These "zombies" are known as SCP-XXXX-01. The virus has mutated on some individuals, thus creating the "special" infected. Special infected are common infected with a severely mutated strain of the virus, thus granting them superhuman benefits. This can be seen in SCP-XXXX-02. SCP-XXXX-02 "The Sprinter" is a special infected that can run faster than any average human being. For example, Usain Bolt can run 28 mph, Whilst SCP-XXXX-02 can run 32 mph. SCP-XXXX-03 is another special infected with abnormally large nails and usually strikes at the abdomen. SCP-XXXX is an exact copy of our world on February 8 of 2018. Upon entering SCP-XXXX everything will seem normal. Upon exiting the school the most noticeable change in the atmosphere is the fog. The fog is yellow and very thick. This fog is extremely toxic due to it containing SCP-XXXX-04. The water has been highly infected due to the virus having adapted to its surroundings. A liquid form of SCP-XXXX can be dispensed from SCP 294. Not much more of SCP-XXXX can be described due to cameras failing once entering SCP-XXXX.

Recovered Document R-0922: SCP-XXXX-02 has been captured and sent to light containment for further research. Dr. ██████ (Deceased) Has currently been infected with a modified strain on SCP-XXXX-04 due to equipment failure.

Recovered Document R-0930: Dr. ██████ (Deceased) has been turned into an SCP-XXXX-05. He has been terminated shortly after.

"Nuclear Death Zone"

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in its original location ████████. The area is surrounded by steep mountains, this makes access to SCP-XXXX limited. Outpost bravo-9 has been authorized to pacify trespassers using any means necessary. Steel fencing is placed around a 6km radius around SCP-XXXX. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-01 attempting to escape must be met with extreme force.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an abandoned nuclear launch site inhabited by humanoid creatures (SCP-XXXX-01,02,03). The building is located in a derelict village that has succumbed to the radiation emitted from a nuclear warhead lodged inside one of the buildings. There is no reference to the village on any map or history book.

There is evidence inside SCP-XXXX that suggests that the US-Army was somehow involved with the creation of SCP-XXXX. This has been denied several times.

SCP-XXXX on the inside is a regular military nuclear launch site. Everything seems to be in the style of a modern-day nuclear launch site. A humanoid creature that emits high amounts of radiation (SCP-XXXX-01) is most common inside the facility. SCP-4492-01 looks highly decomposed with only traces of skin left on its body. These humanoids are to be killed on sight following incident XXXX/01.

Upon entering the upper levels of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-02 are seen in small groups roaming around. SCP-XXXX-02 are humanoid creatures in standard US-Marine corps wear. They are carrying military-grade weapons and will shoot on sight. They communicate in English using radio signals. Any instance of SCP-XXXX-02 is to be contained for an interview in the nearest foundation facility.

Located on the upper levels is a keycard activated door. on the other side is a room with a machine that automatically produces nuclear warheads (SCP-XXXX-03). These nuclear warheads are active and can be used. Any warheads produced from SCP-XXXX-03 are to be collected for use by the foundation.

Upon ascending to SCP-XXXX's highest level, the control room can be found past a set of double doors. The control panel is active and ready to use. At this moment of time, there are three nuclear warheads ready for launch. No personnel is to interact with the control panel in any such way due to incident XXXX/02.

Description: Researchers have been dispatched inside SCP-XXXX to collect data. Due to the tampering of SCP-XXXX's control panel; a nuclear launch sequence has been activated and is set to launch in a dense part of Belgium.
Transcript:
Dr. █████: What is that beeping noise?
Dr. ███: It's coming from the control panel!
Dr. ███████: Dear God, you activated it!
Dr. █████: Wha- why are you blaming me? I didn't touch anything!
Dr. ███: You do realize that you set off a nuclear warhead?
Dr. █████: Crap, we need to tell the others!
Post-incident summary: Dr. ████ reported the incident to the foundation security from within SCP-XXXX. The nuclear warheads were remotely disabled from outpost bravo-09. No personnel is to interact with SCP-XXXX's control panel in any way.
