Description: SCP-5078 is a small carnivorous plant, that resembles a Venus fly trap, around 10 centimeters tall, it seems to communicate with mild gestures, and at times will not comply with foundation personnel unless given food, which consists of insects, if not given food for two weeks straight, it will emit sounds similar to a baby crying, and its trap like structure will start to droop SCP-5078 is a large carnivorous plant, that resembles a Venus fly trap, around 10 meters tall, it is Able to communicate in mild gestures that typically revolve around moving it’s trap like structure, but is also capable of speaking, which sound reminiscent of a middle aged man, but will only resort to speaking if it is not given food it is able to grab its food with its vine like appendages, and can somewhat walk side to side with its roots, it has a trap like structure that is used for trapping and digesting prey, similar to a Venus fly trap. Once the prey is in its ‘mouth’ it will take 2 minutes to fully digest its prey, once digestion is over, SCP-5078 will spit out any indigestible material, glasses, clothes etc. Even though SCP-5078 has no visible form of eyes, It has told foundation personnel that it can see them. SCP-5078’s personality is charming, yet very manipulative, with most of the time SCP-5078 can persuade personnel to bringing it human prey, along with becoming the prey , it takes about 1 to 2 hours for SCP-5078 to fully persuade personal, but new reports show that it takes a shorter time to persuade D-class personnel, around 30 minutes at least.
Scp-5078 was discovered on ███/███/2001, in a abandoned flower shop, in the exotic plant section, at the time, SCP-5078 was still very small, at 10 centimeters, when it was tooken back to the foundation, it instantly demanded food.
SCP-5078’s growth is now measured In pods, as of referring to how big the trap like structure is.
Pod 1
This is the Pod size when SCP-5078 was discovered, around 10 centimeters tall, and is only capable of mild gestures and making infant like sounds
Pod 2
This Pod Grew Around 2 Months after SCP-5078's discovery, around 2 feet tall, and able to start growing vine like appendages, but is no longer capable of making infant like sounds
Pod 3
This is the current Pod size for SCP-5078, round 10 meters tall, capable of speaking, small locomotion, having fully grown vine like appendages, etc.
Note: it is currently unknown what the fully grown form of SCP-5078 is, SCP-5078 has said that it's current size is about a quarter of what its size will be fully grown, New tests have shown that strong weed killer slows down the growth of 5078, Weed killer is now used frequently to prevent a containment breach.
