Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4784 is to be kept within a glass container at Site-██ that allows sight of it from every angle, with two personnel occupying the room outside of the container at all times. SCP-4784 is also to be perched on top of a base made out of slate with the approximate dimensions of 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.5m. Any damage done to the base is to be repaired or replaced with one of the same dimensions within 7 hours.
Description: SCP-4784 is a metallic statue of an angelic female figure. Measurements of SCP-4784 shows it to be roughly 1.8 meters in height, and mainly composed of iron and bronze, with traces of zinc found within its head. The arms of SCP-4784 are crossed over its breasts, and its wings are stretched outwards, with a wingspan of approximately 2.2 meters.
SCP-4784 remains static while kept on a slate base, during which it becomes safe to enter the container it resides in. Slow deterioration of the base is to be expected while SCP-4784 is kept on top of it, despite no signs of damage or deterioration being found beforehand. Any other types of stone are unaffected when put around or under SCP-4784.
When SCP-4784 is without its base after roughly 7 hours, it becomes mobile and extremely hostile. Anyone who comes within the line of sight of SCP-4784 are targeted (and thereby referred to as SCP-4784-1).SCP-4784 then phases through whatever material is in the way to make a beeline straight towards its target. It then attempts to bite the victim, taking a large chunk out of whatever part of the body that’s been bitten. After this, instead of killing the victim, it then ceases its pursuit, then wandering aimlessly until it visually detects someone that hasn’t been bitten yet, or until it has been carefully directed back to its base, after which it then morphs back into its initial pose. Wounds caused by SCP-4784 are treatable
Usage of explosives can damage SCP-4784, though it has been noted that the head is seemingly unaffected, and SCP-4784 can regenerate itself under a large period of time. “Piranha Solution” has also been proved highly effective at damaging SCP-4784.
