Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5287 is in the process of being captured and brought to the cell it will be confined in. Due to the inability to look at SCP-5287 the cell will be well "coated" with many layers of steel in a 10' by 10' room with 2 light bulbs in the ceiling. The cell is 50 feet underneath a city with a population of less than 15,000. SCP-5287 will be monitored with special security cameras that can pass-by the waves coming from SCP-5287. Since SCP-5287 can alter brain-waves, all personnel are to take 20 minute shifts when monitoring SCP-5287.
All footage created from security is stored in the SCP Greenville Base's Private Personnel Library. If any footage is leaked out to social media or websites such as YouTube, the footage must be copyrighted immediately and ordered to be taken off of that platform. All footage is edited or overviewed by the Memetic branch of SCP Greenville and SCP Dallas.
Only personnel that should EVER enter the room of SCP-5287 are specially trained men to transport SCP-5287 to another location or Class-D members. If any other personnel are to enter the cell, they are to be sent to SCP Greenville's Mental Facility IMMEDIATELY.
Description: SCP-5287 is a shape-shifting being of which its origins are unknown. SCP-5287 will shape-shift into what kind of person its target likes. Along with shape-shifting, SCP-5287 can change its personality as well to match its targets' personality. Once matched with its target, SCP-5287 will cause very poisonous butterflies (that can resist the stomache acids) to spawn in the targets' stomache causing target to get very weak very quickly. Once the target gets to weak to stand, SCP-5287 reveals its true form and causes the butterflies to become more intense in there poisoning. The target is then led to die due to organ malfunctions. Finally, the whole body is consumed by SCP-5287 and SCP-5287 finds a new target.
First sighting of SCP-5287 was in Dallas, TX, where SCP-5287 lured a man into the backroom of a bar where SCP-5287 proceeded to kill and eat the man. SCP agents in SCP Dallas caught SCP-5287 and locked it up in the underground isolation cells. However due to the population of Dallas being too large, SCP Dallas planned to move SCP-5287 to SCP Greenville to make SCP-5287 less of a threat. Unfortunately, SCP-5287 escaped during the movement process into the city of Sulphur Springs. Now, 3 years later, we have caught SCP-5287 and are in the process of transporting it to SCP Greenville.
