Description: SCP-5261 is the Earth's Core, although it can be the core of stars like the Sun. SCP-5261's effects can potentially cause an XK-class end-of-the-world scenario on Earth. SCP-5261 was first discovered when Foundation seismologists captured seismic pulses emanating from a point within the inner core. When this happened, several tunnels were bored down to a safe distance from Earth's mantle to further study what would become known as SCP-5261.

Since initial discovery, Foundation personnel have found that SCP-5261 can influence things on the Earths surface, such as volcanoes along the Ring of Fire and tectonic plate boundaries. Further study has revealed SCP-5261 caused major disasters throughout Earth's history. However, while studying was underway, Clearance Level 4 scientist Dr. ███████ proposed cross testing SCP-5261 with other anomalies to the O5 Council, who promptly responded with dismissal and application of Class-A amnestics.

All requests to acquire information about or study SCP-5261 must be submitted to Dr. Harrison by personnel with a Level 4 Clearance and above with supervision from two armed guards from Site-███.

Addendum 1: SCP-5261 destroyed multiple observation posts on ██/██/██. All observation posts are required to have 20 meters of steel and 30 meters of specially made concrete. Surface bases monitoring the safety of all 135 posts are to alert all personnel located within posts.

Addendum 13: SCP-5261 reduced posts 57 and 32 to rubble, with their monitor bases sustaining heavy damage. This was discovered to be an effect of SCP-5261 previously unrecorded, which was earthquakes of magnitude 10 on the Richter scale only affecting previously mentioned locations.
