Special Containment Procedures: Barrels must be collected and buried all on the same place, a private property in North Africa. Though the containment procedures are simple, it is estimated that there are more than 65k (sixty five thousand) barrels spread around the world, difficulting the containment. Two special teams are designated:
- The "Dung Beetles" collect the barrels and neutralize any witnesses, despite age and gender, (kids can only be exterminated with superiors agreement).
- The "Surfers" surf the web 24/7 looking for "strange oil barrel sights", "██████" and other keywords, censoring news and posts about it.
SCP-5636 INSTRUCTIONS PROTOTYPE
Description: SCP-5636 is an unknown oil kept in metal barrels. Barrels have instructions on it's side along with it's manufacturers name logo, "█████████ Hydrophobic Solutions". The whole barrel, instructions, logo quality and documents The Surfers collected indicates it wasn't for open commercial purposes, only being sold to specified partners around the world (yet on testing phase). SCP-5636 can't be lit up, neither freeze. Field test shows it has extreme hydrophobic properties, making anything in touch with it (in any quantity) float on water. Objects and beings that have entered in direct contact with SCP-5636 are called "Yucifers".
THE RAINY DAYS
When a Yucifer enters in contact with rain it immediately (but slowly) starts to float until cloud level, being pulled from it's biggest SCP-5636 concentration. Most Yucifers die on the rising process, while survivors and objects fall from above right on the ground as soon as the rain ceases. SCP-5636 ammount on the infected's body and Yucifer's weight does not matter, as unhappily seen on the "May 2021 Heaven Stairway Accident".

A Dung Beetle team had succesfully collected 10 (ten) SCP-5636 barrels in Massachusetts and were heading to New Jersey to take a flight to the disposal/containment site. Riding through New York City, it started raining, making the crew uneasy. Accidentally one of them knocked over one of the barrels, starting a fight at the back of the truck. The driver got involved, losing attention on the road and thus going through a busy restaurant. The accident opened the truck's backdoor releasing all SCP-5636 on the wet road, making it flows through the street until reaching a dry spot. It is stipulated that there were more then 3800 Yucifers on the scene, being captured by local photographers and CCTV cams. All visual evidence on web was deleted by The Surfers, though all of them are kept by the foundation.
Addendum: New York state agreed to transmit a memetic agent capable of erasing memories to as far as a week before on the whole state TV and web. Bineural sounds were used via radio for the same purposes
