Special Containment Procedures: Due to the possibility of containment breaches, and unwanted results, only level 3 researches are allowed access to SCP-4109. Testing is permanently postponed until ruled otherwise by level 4 personnel. SCP-4109 Is to be kept in a remote high security steel containment cell. Special precautions are to be taken to avoid close proximity to SCP-4109 by any personal. Security personnel are to closely monitor the established route to SCP-4109's cell at all times, and are forbidden to enter within 10 feet of the cell. SCP-4109 is currently contained at site-14 but if containment is breached, a new remote site is to be established for the express purpose of avoiding SCP-4109.

Description: SCP-4109 Is a deteriorating oak bookcase that has been painted white. SCP-4109 stands consistently 7 feet tall (2.13 meters), but due to its transformational properties, has varying length and width. SCP-4109 has no consistent number of bookshelves, but has varied from 5(five) to 321(three hundred twenty one).

SCP-4109's anomalous properties are shown when a person uses any form of language or cummonical suggestion (whether orally,in thoughts, or other form of communication), to request or express interest in a form of written literature. When given a ‘request’ SCP-4109 will instantaneously materialize the correspondent written literature, or digital document. SCP-4109 has shown that for a request to be registered with mental communication, the requester has to be in a very close range, approximately 3 feet (0.914 meters). This event of ‘delivery’ can only happen if no form of direct sight is upon SCP-4109. If given enough space, SCP-4109 can change the size and number of bookshelves of itself to receive a ‘delivery’. If not enough space is present, SCP-4109 will ‘deliver’ more of the ‘request’ once a form of literature has been removed from the bookcase or more space is given (previously stated rules also apply here) . SCP-4109 Will only register a delivery if the request is correctly structured, and is within 20 feet of SCP-4109. SCP-4109 seems to have no direct language barrier.

Experimentation:

Upon transfer of SCP-4109 to site-14 testing center and realizing the anomalous properties of SCP-4109, junior researcher █████ and senior Researcher ██████
tested the abilities of SCP-4109. It is important to note that this testing was concluded without foundation authorization, and lacked security and safety protocols. Senior Researcher ██████ has been strongly reprimanded for this. Senior Researcher ██████ and junior researcher █████ conducted these test by loudly declaring the request for SCP-4109, then maintaining direct eyesight with SCP-4109 until they were a safe 50 meters away. Important details such as date, were also not documented.

Request: Junior Researcher █████ loudly declares “I would like to read the bible.”
Delivery: Upon break of direct eyesight, SCP-4109 Transformed into a 10 ft by 10 ft by 7ft bookcase, filled with approximately 33000 different types of bibles from different languages,and religions. A flash drive also appeared with many [data expunged], and a unknown document seeming to be from the wanted GOI Fithist-Church. Surprisingly, many expected bibles such as the Islamic Quran did not appear, the reason for this is unknown. All non-classified bibles were moved to the site-14 open library. All other bibles were incinerated.

Request: Junior Researcher █████ loudly declares “I want to read a good book.”
Delivery: A single unmarked paperback book appeared on the shelfs of SCP-4109. The book measures 1.23 inches in width, 7.2 inches in length and 9 inches in height, and is a deep shade of green, with a yellow spine. The book details the early life of Ludwig Van Beethoven in english. Many grammatical errors appear in the book which presumes the book has been translated from a german state. A single signature that says “Ludwig Van Beethoven” lays in the last page of the book, making the book possibly a lost or unknown autobiography. Due to the fact that Junior Researcher █████ has displayed interest of Beethoven and personally owns several albums, it is theorized that SCP-4109 can somehow access the cognitive information of humans to “decide” its requested deliveries.

Request: Guest Researcher Wagner ████████ loudly declares “I want a mind blowing book”
Delivery: A single piece of paper appeared on SCP-4109 With a cognitohazard displayed on the back side. Upon Guest Researcher Wagner ████████ flipping over the paper and seeing the cognitohazard, a large force of approximately 0.004 kilotons anomalously appeared in Guest Researcher Wagner ████████’s head. This event Killed 2 security guards in close proximity, Guest Researcher Wagner ████████, and caused severe damage to site-14. MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil") was sent in to properly deal with the cognitohazard. Searches found that SCP-4109 Was undamaged, but the cognito hazard was demolished in the blast.

Addendum-4109-Discovery:
SCP-4109 was discovered during a raid on a POI (Person Of Interest) known as ████ █████. Special Detective Agent (SDA) Ray was surveying the extremely cluttered desk of ████ █████ at the time of discovery. SCP-4109 was present in the room when SDA Ray said “I wish I had some sort of list of the stuff i'm looking for.” When SCP-4109 Manifested a classified document detailing some of the wanted and anomalous items expected to be found at the property. According to reports of other officers, this paper was not on SCP-4109 when they entered the room. SCP-4109 was taken into foundation custody and transferred to site-14.

Addendum-SCP-4109-01: Testing with SCP-4109 Is permanently postponed. Class has been upgraded to Euclid. -site administrator ████████
