Multi-Colored Unity

It is to be noted that SCP-XXXX has not run out of paint even after putting out the standard 350 ml of a standard spray can. Method of replenishment is unknown.

When SCP-XXXX is sprayed on any non-organic surface it causes the sprayed area to begin visually shifting hues 30 degrees for every 2.5 seconds. The effect is completely harmless to organic material as long as SCP-XXXX has dried. The constant shifting of hues cannot be removed with chemical means.

Any organism coming in contact with SCP-XXXX becomes an instance of SCP-XXXX-1
SCP-XXXX-1 instances go through 4 stages

1. Inert stage: Area sprayed shows similar effects to a non-organic substance. Hue shifting remains at 30 degrees and a constant rate of 2.5 seconds
2. Internal and external spread: After 30 minutes the application site will begin breaking out in hard lumps of titanium quartz. The crystalline lumps are filled with SCP-XXXX and can leak into surrounding tissues. Hue shifting remains at 30 degrees rate of change decreases to 0.5 seconds.
3. Crystallization: After SCP-XXXX has spread to 80% of the organism (excluding the brain) New large deposits of titanium quarts will form on the skin ranging from 2.5cm to 30cm in length.
4. Psychosis¹: Once SCP-XXXX breaches the blood-brain barrier, The symptoms of psychosis and aggression will begin in SCP-XXXX-1 instances.

It is not known whether SCP-XXX-1 instances understand speech or are merely reacting to the sudden noise. Attempting to communicate with any stage 4 SCP-XXXX-1 instance will result in immediate aggression and the instance will attempt to flee or harm what it sees as a threat.

A small cup is filled with SCP-XXXX and is placed on a pedestal

To avoid immediate panic, the subject is given a placebo marked "LSD"

Dr.█████: Alright D-████ enter the test chamber

Subject enters the chamber

D-████: It's like the walls are pulsating with energy it's beautiful really! been a long time since I've seen stuff like this.
Dr.█████:You sound like you're enjoying yourself.
D-████: Sure am science man! You sure this is acid? this is some pretty strong stuff.

D-████ is instructed to drink from the cup of still liquid SCP-XXXX and spits it all over the floor

Subject shall now be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1

SCP-XXXX-1: Is this some kind of sick joke‽ Making me drink spray paint?

approximately 30 minutes pass. Up until now, the subject has only been complaining about the taste of the paint
SCP-XXXX-1 begins complaining of burning in his mouth and collapses on the ground complaining about "The rocks in his mouth"

Dr.█████: D-████ Bring yourself to the center of the room. We need to be able to see what's happening to you.

SCP-XXXX-1 crawls to the center of the test chamber displaying high levels of pain
SCP-XXXX-1 can no longer communicate after its jaw has been fully affected by SCP-XXXX

Approximately 10 minutes pass until the instance passes out in pain
Dr.█████ leaves the observatory as the SCP-XXXX-1 instance hadn't moved in 3 hours.

2.5 hours pass when chamber motion sensors are activated.
Dr.█████ is alerted and returns to the chamber observatory

SCP-XXXX-1 instance is completely covered in SCP-XXXX and is wandering around the chamber, not in any noticeable pain

Dr.█████: D-█████ can you hear me?
SCP-XXXX-1:[Unintelligible screaming]

SCP-XXXX-1 smashes its face into a chamber wall. Cracking several crystalline chunks and spilling large amounts of SCP-XXXX onto the floor. SCP-XXXX-1 collapses onto the floor and doesn't move within the 24-hour window and is determined to be dead.
SCP-XXXX-1's body is put into site-██ hazardous object storage.
