All three components of SCP-4350 lined up in order of their official designation.
Item #: SCP-4350
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: All three components of SCP-4350 are to be kept in a standard Non-Sentient Object storage locker when not being used for testing or exploration. They are to be kept in vacuum sealed plastic bags to prevent dust or other external materials from compromising their mechanisms. The use of SCP-4350-a simply requires permission from foundation staff with a clearance level of 02 or higher, while the use of SCP-4350-b and c requires permission from a foundation staff member with a clearance level of at least 04-4350.
Description: SCP-4350 is the collective designation of three folding cameras which appear to
have been manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company in the early 20th century. The cameras are designated SCP-4350-a, 4350-b, and 4350-c, as viewed from left to right in the picture above. All three cameras display their own unique set of anomalous properties, in addition to containing a seemingly infinite amount of film.
SCP-4350-a: SCP-4350-a is tan in color, with an outer casing that appears to be made of some form of reptilian leather. Photos taken with SCP-4350-a appear to capture a distorted mirror-image of our reality. Living subjects, such as humans or animals, are entirely absent from their photographs, while captured structures are often destroyed or heavily dilapidated, if present at all. Landscapes and skies are notably darker, as the sun appears to have been obscured by a thick, dark layer of clouds.
The current theory as to the appearance of photographs taken with SCP-4350-a is that the camera’s anomalous properties cause it to produce images from an alternate universe (Henceforth referred to as SCP-4350-1), ravaged by what appears to have been an XK-class event. There is currently an exploration team traveling to various locations and examining their alternate counterparts via photographs with SCP-4350-a. -Dr. Thomassin
SCP-4350-b: SCP-4350-b is black with a red folding bellows and a case that appears to be made out of standard bovine leather. Photos taken with SCP-4350-b are produced as garbled, fractellized images, and act as cognitohazards with effects relating to the content from the original picture. For instance, a photograph of a dog taken by SCP-4350-b may cause the viewer to believe that they are a dog, that they own a dog, or that they are being followed/pursued by a dog. D-class personnel have been acquired for testing the cognitohazardous effects of photographs taken with SCP-4350-b.
SCP-4350-c: SCP-4350-c is brown and, like SCP-4350-b, appears to have an outer casing of bovine leather. Subjects who have their photos taken by SCP-4350-c undergo a visible increase in age, while the photographer undergoes the opposite effect; becoming noticeably younger. The “amount” of age transferred between the donor and the recipient is dependant on the focal range that SCP-4350-c’s lens is set to. Notably, the focal range is not actually changed by this process. Experiments and cross-tests with other SCPs regarding the aging effect of SCP-4350-c are underway
Addendum: It has come to the attention of the foundation that this SCP has certain similarities to SCP-978. Any possible relation between the two entities is being investigated.
