Item #: SCP-5293

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5293 should be contained in a small box in Sector 4B23. Only Class 5 clearance and higher are allowed inside and out of the room. Class 6 clearance or higher are allowed to guard the door to its room. This room is small and very compact so that it reminds them of their home in the sewers. The walls will be made of cobblestone and brick with a thick layer of intoxicating fluid put to a water level of 0.62 cm high. Its food supply will be completely rats and other sewer animals to remind it of its “home”. Random sentences will be displayed on screen in its room, all originating from children’s books. This will be shown to the SCP to remind the masked part of SCP-5293 of its past and keeping the entire SCP-5293 at bay.

Description: This being has a mask of a little boy named Brian. He was reported missing on 2/5/18 and it seems this being may have been the cause for it so many years ago. It has a long neck that we believe it uses for devouring large prey. Its slim body type allows the creature to move around at high speeds unlike some other of the SCP’s. It attacks by slowly luring in kids into its home and then slowly extending its neck before chomping away at the flesh of the being and then going to the organs before going to the hard to chew bones. It has been shown doing this to small animals when we feed SCP-5293 every few days. The arms and legs it has are very short and help by allowing SCP-5293 to claw at the food before eating. This creature is usually found underground or in sewers according to reports from the area of seeing SCP-5293. No one knows what its real face looks like because it is always covered by the mask of a child. It also has a very special power to morph into the mask he wears further luring children into its sewer home.

Addendum: The origin of the creature is currently unknown but when we first started the SCP program, one of our workers had experienced the creature head-on and sent us the coordinates. Then we caught the beast that is SCP-5293. We found out there had been several more reports in the 1700’s of a hooded figure that the local neighbors called “The Child Snatcher" because of its unique eating habits.
